Ok, finally caught up.

 

Ishy-I know it's been mentioned about his buddying up to Nol that and the defense of me ping me.

 

Basel-Claimed Vig. I saw him do something similar in a recent game...claim a role he was lying about. I have to agree that it seems more of a SK role rather than a Vig role.

 

Between the trains, and not wanting to go no lynch, I'm willing to take an change and Vote Basel. I might be able to get on again before deadline but not sure if I"ll be able to.

Well, let's see, the last game I played in, I was a replacement for Crusher in DPR's Spider game...on thread 3. First game back, and I actually played. Yes, I was mafia, but that isn't why I was active.

 

Oh...and before that? Many, many months since I last played, and my activity was already declining.

I've played in and read games you were in that say otherwise Ed. You'll throw out spam, like you have in this game, but I've never seen you this active in the scumhunting department. Ever.

 

And your bulldogging of the EP issue is tiresome. Regardless of whether or not you think EP has played "pro-town" this game (I don't), the fact is he's probably town. No CC from anyone, has a role which suits his character claim, and he is well within his town meta. Tbh EP's meta is pretty easy to see through once you've played with him enough.

 

So let the EP bone go please, or I'll put you and Red in a cage and see who can out-bulldog the other. My money's on Red

Oh and Cyan, not sure if you missed this or not, but Snow claimed Ned Stark. And there was never really much of a case on him at all to begin with, just a sudden rush of bandwagon votes

 

I did see that, I'm not sure I believe his claim, but what I thought was scummy was him being lurky afterwards. I've read some other games that he played and he seemed to post a lot more...just thoughts...

If Nol claimed that he knows that both EP and Snow are both town, then how is it that EP is joining a train on him? Something's not sitting right with me with the whole knowing business. I will go back to check the exact timestamps, but if I recall correctly, this was before Nol had said that he knew that they were both town, but after Nol was mod confirmed as town. So even if they were trying to hide that fact, it's still a VERY strange vote coming from him.

 

I'd like to hear an explanation about that. So much so that if we weren't this close to the deadline, I'd be voting for one of them. But given that I have class all morning tomorrow (and no computer allowed), I'm going to unvote, vote: Basel.

 

Could you have outed yourself as mafia any more blatently? I guess I should have listened to Desp about Razen.

Tried reading it. Got bored. Seems like over-convoluted plot lines that completely ignore continuity with the other books (why the HELL do they NEVER use the time-turner again?!), and a bunch of funny sounding names and bad latin puns.

Eh that's kind of a good point. But he has been pretty absent in a few other games as well so he might just be busy irl atm.

Do we? This is a game of lies and deceit, that's why people like Rand who slip up and admit to being mafia/third party they are judged for what they said not what they meant to say.

Desp, I think we have good day 1 options as is. But, I do understand that in a no lynch game an inactive would be good..but only if Basel hadn't claimed yet. Your idea would be good if were getting down to the nitty gritty and he had a last minute claim of an role we shouldn't lynch at all like cop.

 

Then having an inactive in our pocket would be a great choice. But Basel has claimed. And I think that changes the scenario greatly.

 

Something is troubling me though. I don't really believe his claim, but I could be wrong so I'm hesitant to pull the trigger. Lately we've had some very successful town vigs in games. They can holster when unsure and put to sleep a scummy player that seems unlynchable for some reason.

 

What I am finding really interesting is several people have claimed they are willing to vote BG but are voting Basel instead with comments like "even a town vig can be bad for town." Imo, that's a very weak reason. If you think someone is likely innocent, don't vote for them. Especially when you have another viable option that several others agree with. This is really nagging at me.

 

Even if there isn't enough initially to lynch BG, two trains is great day 1 info and can set the rest of the game up nicely for town.

 

It's a bit late to try setting up competing trains most likely tho.

 

But I'd be willing to follow onto BG if it seems like enough people would do the same.
