THAT is why a RB on me has not done anything - I haven't used my ability yet. My plan was to make it to endgame and choose a power role (if they existed) to protect and allow them to finish the game.

 

That is also why I said I'm waiting for a NK - even if I protect player X, a kill on me will remove that protection. And if player X is shot at, I'm dead in their place. So I have no expectation of making it much further in the game.

That claim does seem to make sense given how you were acting about it. Plus with two docs outed, another protective role is too valuable to risk losing. Also glad you didn't have a PR in this game, you wouldn't have been able to compete with Hoofdor

Neh..... I'm not sure I buy it. Hodor as a bodyguard for Bran sure makes sense thematically speaking, but as a bodyguard for whomever you choose seems unlikely and it isn't really a claim that can be tested at all, so that is convenient. You still have pushed the idea of lynching Ed which doesn't sit well with me. If you are planning on protecting a power role, wouldn't it make sense to want to protect a cop who outed the cult rather than propose a lynch on him?

my problem with red has been her jumping around. and she did it again one minute she is voting mish then mish is third on her list. I think its john snow who wears the title of scummiest cop ever (could be wrong) so maybe red is just the scummiest doc ever. shrugs. Something about her bothers me it could just be left over bad feelings from when she was bulldogging me but she is like an itch i cant scratch. i just feel like there is something off.

I agreed that it could be a good plan to implement. What Basel did he did on his own, without arranging things in advance with others to make sure the plan worked. As I mentioned in my post, he knew that EP, who had a Blocking ability, did not trust him at all and could potentially blobk him. Which EP did. So basically Basel kind of wasted the attempt to vet Ed because he didn't talk things trough in advance.

 

Obviously letting other people know about how you plan to submit your NA is a little risky to say the least, but at the very least by doing so you prevent other townies from disrupting the plan somehow.

 

And for the record, I didn't FOS Basel for the move. I questioned whether or not it was a good move, but I didn't try to make it seem like he was scummy for doing so.

 

I do generally agree with you on Dice tho, and could easily move my vote to him.

 

acutlaly, i think Basel doing that move on his own for those reasons speak more to his town cred than anything. as both you and i were entertaining the though, why question him doign so on his own reguardless of Eps threats at blocking him.

 

btw, even now Basels move helps us because if Ed does come back and say he wasn't blocked, then EPs proven to still be a jailer. if Ed claimes to have been blocked then EPs shown for the LLL i think he is. its still benefical to us.

he did it for fishing and to get reactions. it was an obvious move to me since his meta was that of him having a power role as town. which is why i left it be. and why i made no bones baout his vote for JLM. i saw what he was doing and it was a town play.
