Pick also the total points scored by both teams combined.     (Example:  SF 28 BAL 28 = 56)  

For every point +/-, you LOSE 10 points.      (Example:  you guess 40 points and the total is really 56, 56-40=16, 16x10=160 points LOST)

Is picking the score totals mandatory?

And what if we guess it right on? bonus points? Or is the bonus not losing points?

 

Also. theres this one betting game, on that depends on a number drawn randomly. I believe with cards. (so 1-13)I can't recall, if its based on point spread, or point totals, and if it has to be divisible by a number or not....

As for picking the exact score total, I guess we could put in a Jackpot Bonus or something. How about +200 points bonus for an exact guess?

I think the 200 point bonus should be for closest guess on number of points scored.

 

Say the final score of the game is 28-24, one person guesses 50, another guesses 51, and the third guesses 53, both the second and third person get 200 points.

 

Also, how about this- a correct guess on the final score with the correct winner gets a final point multiplier of like 2x or 3x.

That idea has a good ring to it, in my opinion. How about closest guess wins the lost points? If two or more guess the same number, then an even split between winners?

Sounds good. Gives those of us that aren't in the 1000 point club, a slight chance to make it up if the others guess really, really wrong. Course adding in a bonus  modifier for the winner, couldn't hurt either.

Well it's been a wild and wacky Playoff but we have finally come to the closure of this season's Pick'em. In the Super Bowl Edition, wagerers had to bet on a team and pick a total score.
