I'll be honest- things were kind of slanted in our favor. The double agent thing is interesting and I don't think that unbalanced the game by itself, but having the puppeteer as well made it pretty overpowered.

That being said, it obviously could have gone much different had EP chosen differently, and he didn't know about the puppeteer until WELL into the game, after JLM replaced Wombat.

Plus, things still could have played out much differently had we not caught other lucky breaks. Had I been lynched day 3, NotBob would have been semi-cleared for a while, since we didn't have the Janitor up on me. And without Nightstrike outing himself as town, people wouldn't have thought he was trying to protect you. So EP choosing a side def did not decide the whole game.

Please enlighten me on the proper path to victory.

In fact, the other scum had all the cards and miraculously ran the table without get discovered.

Bastard Mod!

Think I pretty much covered it here ^

And you didn't really do yourself that many favors by neglecting the game like you did for a while. Had you been there to put a little more pressure on me earlier day 3, I prob would have been lynched

Funny. When did the puppeteer become a scum role?

What skills did your team bring to the fight?

No it just made it easier.

TBH I thought Womb/JLM would have been a role blocker. When we didn't know the role I asked Alanna for the info well into the night 1 phase. Then she announced to us that JLM was replacing Wombat. All I knew when I chose sides was Notbob's role of mafia killer, and Peace's claimed goon.

Also the path to victory to the Seanchan team was to pick up my hints, I didn't totally play anonomously I protected Des in the QT, and meantioned Suroth.

Town had a bunch of protective roles, plus a backup cop, had GF or LOLguy viewed me early it would have busted open 2 of the 3 DF mafia. I actually mentioned a way for you to get Des lynched in the DF mafia QT if I had gotten lynched viewed or NK'd without janitoring myself.

I'm not trying to diminish your skill at this game man, but you def didn't seem to be as interested in trying to win. When you did actually try pushing against me, you pretty much just started flaming me and saying I was scum, I was scum a bunch.

Day 3 could have EASILY swung in favor of your team, in a big way. With the way Nolder was going after me, it wouldn't have taken that much at all to push things slightly more in your favor and get me lynched, which would have made you look golden for a while. EP might have even chosen to switch sides at that point.

It def doesn't look that great for you to try coasting through the game, just to show up at the end and complain of bastard modding. Calm down bro. It's a game.

Easy to say when you had more intel than the town or the other scum team. Bastard mod is a bastard mod. Congrats on being so clever.

Have I ever tried to act like I was so clever in this game? I recognized that we had an advantage and caught some breaks, so I even let my team know it wouldn't be prudent to gloat over this game. And Alanna already mentioned that this was a kitchen sink game, and those are always hard to balance. I think she did aa great job using the flavor roles and the overall setup was very interesting and there were many ways in which any side could have won this game.

Even if it wasn't perfectly balanced you should try to show a little more respect when you sign up for someone else's game.

If you're going to just cry everytime you lose a mafia game, why don't you run back to JN so we don't have to see you disrespect our mods and players?

Just pointing out the obvious.

stooopoidd

You suck at this game.

it's evident you should take a 30 minute break.

Really don't think so .but you can always <explicative removed> if that helps.

Just a bit of advice, you should refrain from comments like this as they are against the DM CoC.

BTW.

Before the inevitable...care to have DPR review the structure before we argue? I'm willing to seek arbitration.

This would have been the more classy way of trying to seek justice for the perceived slights on your behalf

You didn't even really contribute, you made no attempts to really discuss options on the QT you picked your actions and did your own thing. I actually talked them into keeping you around for longer than you should have survived.

Woah, NotBob, chill down like 500 levels. Hopefully the mods will get over here an take care of those comments, but until then, stop posting if you cant stay inside DM rules. And if you have this much issues with losing a game, then you need to seriously look at your priorities, this is a game.

Really seems like you guys antagonized him

I think he has a legitimate complaint about the game and instead of

A. Stating your agreement or disagreement once such as it may be you continually badgered him

B. Waiting to see how Alanna, who even admitted it was borderline bastard modding, would respond before making a final call

You guys kept badgering him and telling him how his play sucked and such

That's not cool

Yeah he broke the board rules and such but you are all pretty equally guilty of inciting a flame war :/
