Basic Mafia: Game of Thrones. Game Over

*sigh* Nicely won, Christine. I must say, killing off your teammates seems to be an effective strategy, I'll have to try it sometime I'm scum.

And counter-claiming your partner's cop claim...very nice. I'm suprised there wasn't a real cop in this game though.

My thoughts: Town did very well to win. The setup was a bit stacked against them, though I did try to balance this by giving them three power roles. In the end, the power roles didn't do that much, though they did help with the process of elimination at the end of the game. Poor David got a bit carried away with his safe claim on Day One, and Alanna's attempts to repair the damage were too obvious. John played well, trying to set up a situation in which Christine could seem like the last scum, but he could have done a better job of selling that today.

 

I was grumpy at BG's 'get him!' deathpost, which goes beyond the typical 'go town' message that is customarily allowed.

 

Lastly, roles - yes, Theon's a pitiful figure and not exactly a townie, but this game was set right at the beginning of the books, when Benjen was still around. I did make that clear at the beginning. Theon was just another of the little lordlings hanging around Winterfell, then. He was an outsider, a bit like John Snow, but not evil.

I'm honestly a little surprised that I was right about David and Alanna. Didn't really have much to go on, so I went for what my gut was saying.

 

 

I did look at John the last night, but as everyone else was vetted, he was going to die.

 

 

I'm surprised I was never killed, as I was a loud town voice from the beginning, and revealed Cop.

"meh" My game has been a bit off... LOT off... lately, but once my RL is cleared I'm planning to start back into mafia again. Got too much going on. And, being mafia in multiple games at once? SUCKS. Especially when teammates crossover, then I get horridly confuzzled. Bah.

 

Also, Christine, you really got me. I'll be looking forward to stabbing you in the back in the future
