I switched to follow you because I honestly thought you had caught something that had a stronger basis than the case I was making. Now that you've revealed Mynd to be town, if I had already known that then why would I have bothered changing my vote so quickly when it seemed like we had a chance to quick lynch someone? I switched because I don't want to risk killing two town.

 

And look at that, you said you checked his mason claim when you didn't. There's a lie for you.

 

I tried to check Mynd again. If he is a Townie Mason we effectively get two for the price of one with whatever my result is.

 

As for the Day1 lie reference that was a joke. I didn't go analyze the situation.. Really though, there's no thin line between lying and implying something that's false. If you find out that you've been misled then the feeling about it is much the same. Doesn't really make any difference to me.

So if you're "Lover" is your "Bodyguard" I'd assume that he / she is Steiner then. Does your partner fall under the bodyguard or lover category? Most bodyguards die in place of the player they're protecting. Or were you not told?

I never said I checked he was a Mason. I said I checked him because if he was a Townie Mason we would get two confirmed Town. I haven't lied this whole game.

Steiner is my bodyguard and will die instead of me if I'm the target of the NK. We were described as Town lovers. I doubt the death of one of us affects the other since that doesn't really fit the role. What, Steiner dies to protect me and so I go off and kill myself? But I'll check and confirm if that's exactly right but I can't really imagine it being any other way.

I am of the belief that, for now at least, both Mynd and Tink are town and are telling the truth.

 

Check out this post. Protects Lenlo, making him and tink both look town by linking them with a now confirmed townie. I think we bagged two today.

I makes a difference because I just asked Kae to check the same statement I sent in the previous day to see if he was Town. If he came back Town, then I didn't even think that he might me fibbing about the Mason thing. With Lie Detect Statements, you have to make it as simple as possible - so to me the Town thing was more important that what his role was. He would then be able to vouch for whoever he was linked with.

 

Your inability to see the logic of this is not really helping your case.

I see it two ways here Tiink. You've put your head on the chopping block with a muffed reveal. There isn't a lot you can do to talk yourself out if it. The best we can make of your role is that you are vanilla with someone protecting you. Unless that person comes forth, or you name that person, there is no way people are going to believe you.

 

So, you either reveal the partner or get lynched. I don't like those options.

 

For now, you seem awful happy to vote Razen, so I'm going to back off that until I'm more sure of you.
