no I don't like him claiming and then saying it should not count as a reveal because it effectively elliminates all but 8 people in the entire franchise, either he is fake claiming (which I believe is the case) or he is putting no effort into the game which I do not think is the case.

Why are you overly insisting about the whole reveal issue? It benefits nothing. In 90% of the games played its not okay to hint at a character or reveal, it only helps the scum. So why would it be okay now that we have a limit? Your continued push for the "he used a reveal he is scum" argument is the most ping worthy ATM

I'm not saying to reveal, I'm calling his reveal fake for one and for 2 the way he was disregarding the ruling that Kae said and pointing fingers at everyone for calling him out for using a reveal and then being all like I didn't know, Not buying it, he then retracted after the fact and begged for a reprieve (yes he basically begged) He is trying to much to be townie as we could have worked around losing 1 reveal FoS on you Jack for not putting this together yourself and defending Mynd

I'd disagree with this. Saved our butts in the Pokemon game by Mass revealing. There's a time and place for it, but it is not this day.

My opinion on this is that it was, once again, Mynd's way to get the game moving so we have things to look back on. Notice that he has been quiet since. I think that many of your responses have been more indicative of your goals than his statement, which essentially meant nothing. In that regard I suppose it is a success.

Well, if we use his own theory against him... He has been town in a lot of games lately, especially I'd you consider that he often comes back as another person after they drop.. And he is acting somewhat oddly, but that could just be mynd being mynd. I'd like to see more from him before going one way or the other.

Mynd did apologize - and he said that he hadn't realized that stating the game your character was from would count as one of the reveals. Kae gave the reveal back, so we still have all three of them. I'm not going argue with her decision.

Ok, a lot of speculation is being tossed around, most of it laughable, but this caught my eye.

 

Why is Eternal Phoenix afraid of narrowing down ourselves by FF Chapter? As those who are not skimming the game but actually reading understand, I claimed the FF Chapter of my character with the understanding that it was vague enough to not count as a reveal. A polite and respectful objection to the mod was made and she concurred that it did not count. So, I am still not sure where the problem is....unless EP and a few others are upset about being narrowed down.

 

I mean, if we have six players from XII and as we progress, three of them are revealed to be Vaan, Penelo, and Fran then we have a pretty good idea that among the other three, one has to be a boss (aka. Vayne or Cid). It baffles me that people play this game with emotion rather than logic. Claiming our FF Chapters does not waste reveals but it does help us sort who is who.

 

What raised my eyebrow about EP's statement is that he presents only two of several possibilities, as one who is pushing blindly on a case out of fear. He has made up his mind to lynch me, but he just wants to rally support before he pushes forward. He insults the other players in this game by assuming they would agree with him rather than forming their own opinions. I have not claimed a player at all. I have only claimed the FF Chapter (or franchise? Story? Episode?) that my character belongs.

 

As far as my effort, I think that was simply stated to get some kind of reaction out of me. I'm not sure what he bases this opinion on.
