Will Shara (and Land of Madmen maybe) be involved in AMoL

I personally believe that Shara and LoM (maybe) might not be in AMoL but then included in another book that would be like lotr's Untold Stories. Then Shara could be on par with the war in the north in lotr and in that book all of Sharan culture and history could be explored. But I am intrestedto see your ideas. ( sorry for any bad spelling or grammar, I did this on my ipod)

Sorry to burst your bubble a bit, but I asked Brandon about other WoT-based novels after AMoL came out, and he said that it was unlikely, having discussed it with Harriet, and he said something along the lines of (it would be using RJ's world to further my own name) or something to that effect.

I believe we will get to see more of Shara in AMoL though (Or at least I'm hoping to)

Doubt we will see much else about Land of Madmen, and Shara, if it is involved, will not play a major role. As mentioned, further books outside the main series are unlikely.

However, we may get some further detail about Shara and LoM in the encyclopaedia.

if you see anything of shara it would be like the short scene of seanchan we got before. Just a quick thing nothing really major happening. There may be mention or seeing something small of their armys, maybe rumours of whats happening or something. Land of madmen there will be nothing of, its not even mentioned in the books so it wont be in the last 1 book.

This should probably be on the aMoL board.

As for more books, that will not be happening. RJ was very against other people writing in his world. At the very most we get the Prequels and Outriggers but even those are a long shot.

I hope we don't see either in AMoL. There are too many lose ends and things I would love explained for Sanderson to open another continent or two, or waste a few pages on them.

It strikes me as something he planned to develop and never got around to. Also if it is never developed then it helps to create the illusion of a larger world. I think at most they will show up to fight the last battle, based on some three-thousand year old prophecy known only to them.
