not really sure what we should call the evil prophecies, evil don't sound right.

the end of ToM, baddies say, we know their prophecies, but they can never kinow ours.

I wonder if Verin knew them and wrote them down for Egwene?

Hmm, a reason I think not is because: Who did he read that prophecy to? Was she in higher standing than Verin?

A reason Verin might have read them is because she would pay hell to find out anything that might beat the shadow.

Verin would not have had a chance to read them. She may have been given a line or two, but not even Graendal knew about the prophecies.

Towers of Midnight Chapter 5: Writings

"They have long been known to me," Moridin said softly, still studying the book. "But not to many others, not even the Chosen. They women and men who spoke these were isolated and held alone."

It is a possibility that Verin somehow was one of the people who wrote down the words, but it is highly unlikely. Pretty much none but the highest would know. Moridin, Shaidar Haran, Lanfear and Moggy (since they are possibly Dreamers and under Moridin's....influence...) I doubt Verin, a relatively unimportant DF would have access to much, perhaps one or two lines at most.

You are likely correct in saying it is not "evil". Just prophecies that only the Shadow knows of. The "Light" Prophecies are hardly "Light" in any case, say that Rand will die and the whole world will be engulfed in Chaos.

I think it unlikely that Verin knew them. She said that she knew very little of dark Proficiency in the great hunt for the horn after looking at the proficiency written in blood after the escape of Padan Fain. Unless she saw them between then and her death. However this still seems unlikely.

I agree that it was unlikely, but that statement by her cannot be taken as evidence, since she would certainly have incentive to deny knowing dark prophecy and her oaths may well have prevented her revealing it in any case, even should she have desired to.

As to what she wrote in her book - the sections of that that do not pertain directly to the identification of members of the black ajah have not been revealed (and I would be unsurprised if they were never referred to now).
