Ooh, ninja'd a couple times by the Ape. I'm waiting to see what a not-drunk-but-hungover Ishy brings, personally, and to see what NotBob does. Ishy obviously isn't always the most sense-making drunk out there. So if he wants to change his game when he's a little more sober, I might give him that. I dunno. I hate it when people play mafia drunk. It makes it so hard to figure out what's going on.

How did Wombat steer Song to only view within your guild? There was only one other night after the night she revealed that anyone knew she was cop anyway, before she died the next, and she'd already made her choices on who to view.

Song was explaining her views, and said she got smart and viewed me - insinuating that she realized to clear her own guild first. Then wombat suggested that if she does get a guilty that we don't reveal it and instead have he and I "bludgeon" the rest of the game. I got the impression that he knew she aw storing to view not bob next.

Her viewings in order were: wombat, lily, me, notbob

Wombat also suggested that there was only 1 Original mafia. DPR quickly corrected him.

As soon as Song said not bob was town, wombat began pushing Sakea's lynch.

Look folks, wombats suspicious early play D1 was in my book a ploy to draw a viewing. It's something veteran players do when they are GF. Everything I've got adds up to him being converter.

Lynch him. If I'm wrong, have meEsh shoot me.

Wombat feels off to me. I don't have any more than that to go on, so I have hesitated to say anything. I think Kae is telling the truth. I think Tina is a likely conversion for last night, being that she was cleared by Ithi.

Going after possible converts instead of the Monocle himself is a sucker's game.

I would love to see how Tina flips, and Wombat also. Wombat, who do you think is the Monocle, then?

Interesting sequence... Womby steers Lily away from Tina, with the uber townie "gotta get the orig scum" comment.

If wombat flips scum, then go look at Ishmael, Tina and potentiallly Nob Bob, if he doesn't vet himself today.

But if NotBob does nothing...since by Wombat's own admission if he's town he's only vanilla, and Wes says a mislynch wouldn't result in the end of the game....I'd be willing to lynch Wombat. If he's the recruiter, fantastic; if he's town, that's not good, but it's not as bad as it could be if he was a cop or doc or something useful like that.

I am a little suspicious of Kae's claim that she is a Doctor.

We have already had two docs die. Would there really be a third?

And, if she claimed Doc, we wouldn't want to lynch her. She could ride to end game. Perfect claim for the Original Mafia.

I wonder, was Christine suspicious of Kae?

Another thing I should point out is that I don't think the automatons know who the Dark Monocle is. We know from the Airship thread that Nolder didn't know who the Dark Monocle was so I would assume that none of the automatons do. Therefore, Ape's theory requires both Ishy and me to be original scum, which makes it less likely. Ape has done a complete 180 from yesterday when he reassured me on the QT and on thread that Sakaea was scum and I should not worry. He could be our latest automaton, but I am leaning Most Valuable Primate (i.e. wrong townie) on him right now. Also, like I already said, going after automatons instead of the converter is a sucker's game.

We should be going after people who have not been cleared by Song or Ithi or their role. Also, Ape's "lynch me if I'm wrong" argument is specious. Ape has been cleared by Song and could possibly vet his role later, so going after him when I flip town would be dumb and anti-town imo. I expressed my suspicions of Sakaea on the QT because I was frustrated with her play. It made no sense as town and little as scum. I still don't get why she did what she did. The "reactions" she thought were so valuable were worth next to nothing imo.

Pale, Leelou and Verb are Tophats...they've all claimed, yes. Leelou was vetted. Pale not so much at this point. Verbal...uh...not vetted, really. As far as I know.

JLM...pretty sure she claimed, though I'm not remembering it off the top of my head...bah, here I go to look....

Aha. Yes. There it is. Umm...vetted...if I went back and lined up all the nights to be sure, that would be nice, but fat chance...I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that for now JLM is vetted. At least, it appears she wasn't lying about her role.

Or we don't follow your leading assumption that automatons don't know who the monacle is. Which means you could be the converter and Ishmael an automaton or original,scum with you.

Also, why is it "unlikely" that you and him are original scum? You say unlikely, but provide no basis for why its unlikely. Just a hunch that favors your situation.

I could switch to Verbal. He hasn't really contributed all that much and he likes to hide that way as scum, if memory serves.
