As to my inactivity I said it to you on JN ape and I'll say it here. Just don't feel comfortable here quite yet.

You said you were going to quit playing mafia. I said "you are in a game on DM" and you said "and not very active".

This is a really bush-league thing to do referencing stuff on another site.

This is interesting. If the mod wants to deal with it, he can. But you pointing it out is funny, and using it as a main reason for voting someone, when there is plenty of other reasons to vote Ape, or anyone else, is ridiculous. IMO. VOTE THORUM

This is a really good point though. Thorum is next to me in terms of inactivity(this will be 30 for me, he/she/it/troll/elf/wizard/whatever has 21), and at the same time seems to have just wanted to give just ANY reason to put a vote on someone.

I agree with you both here.

I also made a similar observation on Paperblade on D2, when he hopped on the bandwagon train on me, behind Amega.

Speaking of which is that dude CosmicPanda still playing. I liked him. He threw around some sympish posts early and then drew to conclusion Nol and Amega as scummates. Could have been a good buss move too if he were to be teammates with Nol.

No, he was replaced by Despothera. Same logic could still apply though, because the roles haven't changed, just the person playing the role.

I want to make sure I'm following you here... are you suggesting Amega killed Nolder to frame me, and CosmicPanda/Despo is following through on it because Amega is dead?

Hmm...I didn't think about it that way at the time, but it is certainly possible. Can't discount anything at this stage if it seems like it could be plausible.

Thorum's one of those guys who I kind of overlook because he's always so scarce, and his posts short. His style is so consistently scummy-seeming to most people that I sometimes take it for granted and don't pay close attention to his posts. "Oh, he's always like this, it doesn't mean anything." XD

My initial reaction on Thorum's weaksauce vote for the Ape was "I can't believe you just did that." Then I was like "Well...it's Thorum...he was probably just being honest about his reasoning and doesn't have any better thoughts to offer. No biggie."

And then I finally took a good look at that and was like "...wait...he's a smart player. He has experience. He has to have more thoughts than just 'the ape edited and stuff other people said.'"

If he legit doesn't, then, because he didn't say 'I'm busy, sorry,' I have to assume that would be because he honestly doesn't really have any dirt on anyone, or doesn't care, and can't be bothered to make up something plausible-sounding. Which is something that traditional mafia have to deal with--how do you scumhunt when you know who the bad guys are? In this game, that might translate to cult or, for lack of a better term, 3rd party (like SK). Since I'm not yet entirely sure there's a real mafia, y'know?

If he does have more thoughts and didn't feel like stating them at all, then he probably has something to hide.

Basically, Thorum's being Thorum, but in this case I feel like there's something behind it other than his...Thorumness.

If any of that made any sense. XD It does to me, but that's cos I said it. :laugh:

To address a few of the points brought up. It is true that I am on in a faction that can communicate. I have never denied it. I find it interesting, however, that some of the other people that have admitted it as well were not mentioned in the BG/Songstress hunt for communicating factions.

Why is everyone assuming all factions are united? I have seen nothing to imply that.

I've seen nothing to prove that they are not united, although I do admit that it would be interesting to find out whether that it is true one way or the other. The fact that you bring this up leads me to believe that you might not have a faction. Or that if you do, you don't know who they are. And that means either you are unaligned or something more sinister.

As for lynching inactivity, I dont know if I am ready to head down that road yet, I would rather give the Mod time to replace them if they cant stay active.

The 4th vote out of 15 is hardly a sheep. It's obvious that you are merely skimming through the game and trying to piggyback on someone others have made cases on. You aren't playing the game and obviously didn't think that actually looking at what was going on was necessary.

For what it's worth, the setup on Ape is so obvious it hurts, which is why I'm not voting for him. If deadline draws close and we need to consolidate, I'll switch, but I feel better about paperblade right now with BG and Songstress next in line.

Your vote on Christine didn't make any sense.

trench thought Christine's reveal that she was on a faction and didn't know who else was on it was bullshit, so he voted her.

You said this logic was bad, but also said you thought all factions were aware of each other (thus you are admitting your faction is united) except for an unaligned survivor, which so far no one needs dead. You also added you wouldn't buy what she said she was, so you voted her. Your reasoning was the same as trench's--you didn't believe she was on a faction that started out unaware of each other (unless she was a survivor, but since all enemies are mutual and survivors just have to survive, no one needs a survivor dead).

Additionally, when a player flips we don't learn if their faction is united or not, so how would lynching her prove otherwise? I can say I know who my teammates are and I can say I don't--it doesn't prove anything (other than "I don't lie" meta but you've already said you don't trust everything she says). Killing me won't prove otherwise regardless of what I flip. Your lynch reasoning was shit because the stated purpose won't be achieved, because you have no proof that all factions beyond Unaligned Survivors are united.

So I ask you this: Why would factions start out united? Are you just assuming that because yours is?
