Why is there almost always 2 pages of posts up already by the time I see that these games have started :p Oh, and have a nice weekend dude!

*moves dresser away from his door and goes out warily to carry on with fellow villagers*

So, what are we gonna do about this werewolf problem? I mean... they just keep coming back.

I like Sira's idea of not lynching anybody this first day if we can get away with that. I don't like the idea of taking a chance on getting a wolf when the odds are that we'll get a villager or one of our good roled characters the first day. I mean, I know this gives the wolves a free night, but why should we give them a 2 for 1 deal?

You don't have to listen to me though. There are several other smarter people than me to look to.

*mayor Goldy steps out of his house a lil shaken*

they were there...at my door last night, they almost broke in...

*composes himself*

We must do something about the werewolves, and I disagree with Lukys, the longer we wait, the more of us they'll eat, until we're all dead, like before. We have a chance of figuring out who they are that way, but a small one. The Seer has a good chance of seeing nothing out of the ordinary. But like they say...it's time to toss the dice.

I'm thinking right now that the seer should reveal on day three. Figuring four dead by then - two lynches, two night kills - that gives us nine players left and a seer and two investigated innocents will give us a voting block of three confirmed innocents.

The maths says not to lynch today, it's impossible to get a good case on day one and the numbers are heavily skewed against us, but we don't have the option to go to night. I'd rather see us go through the time limit and try to get to night without a lynch that way. It'll give us another day before the evil majority - particularly bearing in mind we have no vigilante.

*nods in agreement with Sira*

What she says makes sense. The more of us that are left for when we actually do find a wolf the better. Let's just hope the wolves don't get the Seer the first night...

*also hopes the Angel is able to protect someone one of those nights*

I'm thinking that if we have the option to go to night - which I'm not sure we have - we all should decide on doing that pretty quickly so that the game can move on.

Otherwise, if we have to lynch someone, it's likely it will be an innocent. As we all know, we don't have much to go on this early in the game.

*shrugs*

We don't have the option to go to night. I asked in the thread earlier. That's why I'm thinking we have to wait out the time limit to get at least a shot at going to night.

Modly modly mod, from where I'm sitting, the point is not to rush but to win. We've waited patiently so that all our favourite players would be available to play when we started the game and I'm willing to do make with a little more strategic waiting. I'm patient like that. :D

If anybody has a better plan, I'm happy to hear it. For example, a lynch target that does not involve rolling dice or a hilariously trumped-up case would be all kinds of awesome and I'll be right there lynching. Failing that, I could dig the not lynching.

(Also, I got killed on the second night last game and my paranoia is always high, so the longer the day is before I can be brutally killed the better. )

Um, good point. I am not so much with the knowing what I'm talking about tonight.

Stuff it then - I'm being a pain in the backside. If the mod doesn't want us going to night, we don't go to night. Let us go forth and lynch.

I don't know either.

Anyway, I made a list.

This tells me there are some players who are more active than others. If we have to lynch, I say we lynch one of the inactives. My reasons? We're likely getting an innocent the first day. So I'm thinking it's better to lynch an inactive player, because if in the endgame there are inactives left, it can be disadvantageous for us innocents. Also, there is a possibility that there's a wolf hiding there somewhere.

I know that the game is only just started, so maybe we should wait and see if some more people post.

Thanks for drawing up the list. I agree that if possible we should target the ones who aren't feeling talkative. The obvious option is to roll a dice to pick one, but I would propose that we at least consider lynching the one who's played most games, on the basis that we should love our newcomers and give them the best opportunity to play where possible. They may turn out to have mad ninja skillz at mafia too. What do people think?

PS: I figured that if I ever played in the same game as you your sheer awesomeness would force me to declare my passionate and undying love. So may I take this moment to say that you are my mafia hero. :D

Was Kadere really gone? or lurking waiting to see what others would say to use his subtle powers to persuade ppl against lynching the real culprits?

Who can know? none of us...yet

And Sirayn, rolling dice for human lives...are they in this together???

Go off shopping (and spent way too much....blame Egwene!!!) for the day and its's started....

Oh well shopping therapy didn't last long.....back to the reality of werewolves..

*goes to house to cook some brownies and cookies....food therapy is now needed....sighs*

*grabs his insta-drunk rum and has a seat while watching everyone talk back and forth*

Hmmmm....I know that people are talking about waiting, but you don't want to give the evils the first strike. Then we are already at a disadvantage. But I do agree that if we are going to lynch someone, then it should be someone who isn't very active, but that shouldn't be the only thing to consider either.

Wow, thanks! :D You're awesome too. One of the reasons I wanted someone else to mod a game was that I'd be able to play in a game with you. :D

Anyway, back to business. The only one who hasn't posted is Loki. He's also the only one who hasn't played the game before (at least not here). Is he even aware that it has started? If he doesn't show up soon, I might vote for him. Otherwise I agree with you, that we should lynch someone who's played before.

DJ, what other things would you consider, other than not being active?

If Loki does show up, I would look closer at Kadere, goldeneys, Tessa, Direwolf Jon and maybe GoodGrief. All these haven't posted much, and they all made sure to post after I made my statement about lynching inactives. Now, I know that this might be a coincidence, and I know that people might have better things to do than sit here all day ( ) but I'm only throwing it out there.

But why someone not active.

Last time we lynched someone for being inactive they turned out to be a villager...but then as there are three werewolves they could have a plan for some to stay inactive and others to be over active just to confuse us. :?

It would only be good to go to night if we could go to night straight away and get it over and done with....but maybe just maybe we could lynch someone now and they could turn out to be a WW...I know the chances are slim.

Anyway here's the brownies and chocolate chip cookies...help yourself everyone (cookies dipped in rum to add to the falvour)

My reason for wanting to lynch someone inactive is that we're likely to lynch an innocent in any case. If we lynch someone who is inactive, that is, not contributing much to the game, we both get a funnier game and we get rid of the possibilty that there are inactive innocents in the endgame. It's very disadvantageous to have inactives in the endgame.

Good thinking.....

*thinks about being inactive for beginning  *

I didn't know it had started....and I was shopping all day yesterday....did over 100 miles (alot for us in England  ).....and didn't get back till late...It was Egwene's fault...errr(ooops she's not in the game that's no good)
