I still think that anyone who shows up and deliberately lets the lynch go random is scummy.

why bother stating this when you were already voting me?

it's not my fault I wasn't lynched

And furthermore, do you have a problem with consolidation? I just stated that I dislike random lynches, and so would I not do everything in my power (not much) to avoid a random lynch? No, I didn't really see a good case on you. No, you would not be who I would lynch if I could. Were you the only person likely to get lynched before the deadline? Yes.

I dunno. I can see both levity and loki's sides. Levity dislikes a train forming on her for no apparent reason and Loki wants the game to get moving and has nothing better to do with his vote . For that matter, neither do I. UNVOTE VOTE LEVITY

You’ve stated your dislike of votes without reasoning. So “getting the game moving” is a good enough reason to just randomly vote?

i do find pitts vote on litey kinda weird though. "bandwagoning to get the day over" its a really flimsy excuse, as there is a deadline so bandwagoning at this point wont 'get the day over and done with'. it just has an air of voting first, reason later to it.

At the time when Mawth voted there were competing trains still. There were, in fact, 3 and they were all equally likely.

 

Right before the deadline it was very clearly going to be Nol, but not when Mawfield changed his vote. Mawth might just be remembering the time when he voted wrong, but....

this is one of the scummiest votes on Levi's train. Maw keeps himself on the fence with the "seeign both sides" and his reasonings agaisnt Levi are weak; not to mention the underlined feels like he's re-wrding Wombats "overreaction" reasoning.

 

 

also it's kind of hard to have activity when half the people in the game aren't voting

guess I'll bandwagon just to get day over with

biggest ping of the game so far. first Nol argues agaisnt Levi's lynch becuase "he wants to play with her beyond D1" and now the reluctant "jump on the lynch even though i don't want to."

Ever since I hammered Hoof a Day 1 a long time ago, just to prevent Random, I've sworn off of it unless I had reason to be ok with it at least. He turned up either Doc or Cop... can't remember which.

To be fair Maw, you failed to SAY who that statement was even directed toward. Because, in a different way, that comment you made was near Nol. Sure he probably assumed it was said to him, but again you didn't exactly direct it toward anyone. I'm not as much defending him as I am noticing the blunt use of your words, which I think were uncalled for, and seemed shadily off.

Good catch AH, but to be fair to Maw I don't see this vote as random. However, it is the reason that he voted for Levity that speaks to me. Any player, be they scum, town, or third party, is going to dislike a train forming on them (The exception being that they have a role, that has their side or just themselves, benefit from them being lynched). The exception aside, not dying in a competitive game no matter what your alignment seems like a pretty good reason.

could you elaborate?

 

Of course. Maw's most recent statement made me think of two possibilities as to why he said what he did.

 

1. That he is town, and is playing the sympathy card to shake the votes he has off of him.

 

2. That he is scum, is trying to do the same thing as in #1, and/or is trying to enact a mafia tactic of some sort wit the post.

 

I'm leaning toward #2, because if the first line in the post is supposed to justify the last, it makes no sense. Why wouldn't you just ask for a replacement then in that case? However, I'm not yet sure that my choice is correct, and that is why I FoSed him instead of voting for him.

 

I don't think you're blue.

 

I'm with Nol. I'm pretty sure that it's a way of saying you don't think someone is town, but who was it directed toward?

If you mean nudging as in trying to make him receive more votes, that is not the case. I'm being cautious in my decision to vote for someone, which I think is perfectly acceptable with 2 RL days remaining. While it is an interesting thought, your brief and undeveloped theory has no traction. Maybe if it were closer to the deadline it might mean something, but I'll have a vote on the board by then.

 

That is some very interesting stuff Nolder. I can see the validity in what you're trying to say about Wombat. He's one of the few who stuck out to me in my reread, especially his tricky post in Day 1 where he justified his vote on Levity because she simply responded to a third vote, which is usually what starts a bandwagon soon after. Sure, it can be said that it was Day 1, but all of the votes on Levity at that point had been just because. Loki with his third vote did say something about making it interesting, but it was Wombat who gave the first, while brief, accusation of the train at that point. This is not to say however that I believe he is scum, I'm just explaining that I can see where you're coming from. And I've never played a game with Maw, so I don;t know what to think about him yet. To summorize, good points, but nothing that would make me jump.

 

This was my first analytic post in the thread, which addressed what I thought about some of your activity in D1. Feel free to keep adding to it (reasons that I might come to think you're scum).

I am not a fan of fast bandwagons. More often than not it seems it's caused by a random vote by a townie followed by some opportunistic mafia trying to push for a lynch by making a villager crack under pressure or rolefish by forcing a claim (which . At the time, Levity was at 5 votes out of the 7 needed to lynch her at like 24 hours into the day.

 

In fact, with the case brought up against Maw and him being the last vote for no real reason, I think I'm going to Vote Maw
