Zelda's always on my brain, especially the LttP song.

though i'm already stuck in the new game  i'm still playing it, but i need to find the bomb bag to be able to continue. i'm trying to find the 5 key pieces to unlock the 2nd dungeon, but the rock i need to blow up by the entereance to the volcano is to far to throw the bomb flowers. so i've been buising myself with catching bugs and stuff

*head desk* it would be in the temple

SS is fun, the controls are alot liek the Wii controls for TP imo. the only thing right now i don't like is the camera, theres no quick view button unless you press the crouch button which can be a pain while running. but the motion plus makes targetting a bit easier. like the previews for the game says, you can't just run up and wack the enemys any more, you actually have to sit back and gauge how you need to attack them first, but the motions for the sword are fluid and natural, as well as for the shield.

the stamina gauge adds a new obstical really, as does the fact your shields take on damage. but the wallets are easier to find than other Zelda games.

the bird is easy to fly as well as it being easy to navigate the flying bug thing; it did take a minute for me to get the art of catching bugs down though

Just beat it. Gaming genius by the end. The first half felt like them same old good Zelda stuff.... But by the time I finished the final boss, I felt like I WAS Link. Couldn't get enough.

Boo to softclaims BG

LttP (Link to the Past) is the benchmark of Zelda games for me. but think everyone feels that way about the first Zelda game they really play *nods*

OoT (Ocarnia of Time) and MM (Majorams Mask) are about tied in the fandom. i'm currently half way through OoT and haven't started MM so i have yet to make a true thought on that comparison, though OoT have a very big LttP feel to it.

OoT never came out on the GBA though, that was all N64/Game Cube (as was MM). LttP originally came out on the SNES but was re-released to the GBA. Minish Cap and 4 swords are the other 2 GBA zelda games i can rememeber off the top of my head. OoT has been re-released to the new 3DS though.

TP was good for me, i got stuck on escorting the damned Zora prince through Hyrule for 6 bloody months. where your on Epona and have to fight off the Ogers on hogback and keep the wagon from catching fire. a bloody nightmare that part was. finally just threw my Wii controller after abotu a month of trying and went back fresh 5 months later. it's the only reason i haven't re-started that game, becuase truely i lked the storyline it had and playing as Wolf link was very enjoyable as was the companion.

i'm not finding the companion in SS all that enjoyable, she's way too formal and business like to really grow attached too. i have to say i'm rather upset they didn't bring Midas(sp) back liek it was rumored they would after TP. lord knows the ending left it open for her and the twilight relam to return.

SS's story line feels more like a re-boot or altrnate reality, rather than a continuation of the same lovable world (kinda like WW)

what, i'm a Zelda nerd  so much so, that when Bubba and i get married, this will be the song we get announced to at the beginning of the reception

i'm also glad to know that an entire audience of Zelda fans giggled at 1:02; cause i've been doing that since i got the album lmao

my 2nd fav song is the TP theme. both are on the CD i got with SS *grins*

I dig the Skward Sword theme song. There is an awesome suite for it at the end of the game during the credits I wish was on the CD. Oh well.

I'm going to create a thread up one level to keep talking about this, cause me likey talk zelda and Day will break at some point, so better keep it focused...

sounds good BG, i'll meet you there

guys, OoT was NOT on the game boy system until the 3DS, it was a N64/Game Cube game. you guys are thinking of either Oracle of Ages, Orical of Seasons or Links Awakening

these 3 games are not spoken of very much in the Zelda universe (their shunned by most Zelda nerds lmao), as they were really more of off shoot games rather than true Zelda franchise games, they were actually developed by a different studio (Flagship) with Nintendo only suprervising. which is why they just don't stand up to other games in the franchise.
