This is a lot of doc claims for one game.

I wish I knew the players here better - I look at Hoof's play and it looks like a clumsy lie, making me a skeptic.

That being said, at this point I'm inclined to believe Ishy, nevermind Hoof, Ishy hasn't been bumbling and stumbling... and if you think about it, would scum would surface 2 of themselves + Nolder just to get at Meesh if she were the doc. I don't think so... I also don't care for Meesh's defense above. She's grasping at straws...redirect? Really?

Vote Meesh

I think that puts her at L1. I'll be around this morning to hear her squirm some more...

I appreciate this sentiment, but putting her at L-1 this early in the Day doesn't make since nothing confirms her as being scum. Hoof could be telling the truth, but still be a LLL. I've seen a mafia track just about as much as I've seen a town tracker... and since we don't have any coroner findings to go off of, all we have is conversation to go off of. Rushing day isn't going to help us at all >.>

I agree that Hoof could be a mafia tracker/watcher type. Which is why I'm not following Hoof's lead here, I'm following Ishy's. I don't think 2 scum would make this play (if the scene said there are 3 left) just to get at the doc. I don't like Meesh's defense since Ishy counter-claimed, and frankly... I wanted to put Meesh at L1 and see how long she stayed there. In a no coroner game, if Meesh was the real doc then scum would have no pause about hammering her, especially if you consider the efforts they would have gone through to get the doc lynched. No?

I think she is lying.

What do you suggest? Look elsewhere?

Well, Locke's vote was at night, so I was assuming it wasn't counted. I could be wrong in that though.

Here's the player list according to the first post.

1)hoof

2)mesh

3)ishy

4)nolder

5)wombat

6)corrosive stare

7)reyoru

8)song

9)mr. soy boyo

10)john mcclane

11)bg

12)cosmicpanda

13)locke?

14)levity?

15)red

16)keyholder

I see now that I was counting Rey because he hasn't been x'ed out yet. So, withOUT Locke's vote that puts her at L-2, with it at L-1. Therefore, we still need to know how Amega is counting...

11 players, 6 to lynch.

The most recent vote count from Amega had Locke's vote counted. I'm assuming L1.

Posted

haha, yeah I see that now. After I posted all that stuff . I was going from Amega's post saying that Rey was dead.

I'm fine with hammering, since I feel inclined to believe Ishy. Do we want her to have a chance to respond first?

Locke's vote did come before the scene but after this post by the mod...

scene will be shortly. Night is now over

and by the most antitown you can be, I mean one of the most antitown things you can do.

I have a class and formation soon, so I won't be able to post my other thoughts for a couple hours, but hopefully this won't get rushed through. Having an open dialogue is needed here. Rushing will not help us any.

I think the hurrying of Day is the most anti-town you can be. FoS everyone suggesting we shouldn't discuss other options, Especially Key.

What? I haven't said anything even remotely like that. In fact, I haven't hammered her so that we can continue the dialogue.

I explained why I wanted to see Meesh at L1. I think if she was town, she'd have been hammered already.

You keep saying people wanting to rush the day phase are antitown... and that we should be discussing it more, but you aren't discussing anything.

What are your thoughts, please... is there something I / we aren't seeing?

Unfortunately the Army has full control over my life right now, which is why I'll share my thoughts in a couple hours. You guys also aren't discussing anything, it's just bring her up to L-1 and wait until someone comes in to hammer. We need to hear more from Meesh and Ishy. I think his reveal is a little too convenient.

I don't think if she was town, she'd be hammered already. Townies shouldn't rush lynches. So either a- she's scum and she's lying or b- scum is already on her train or c- scum aren't hammering yet.

Like I said, I'll be back later, stop distracting me or I'll be late.

I agree with Song on not speedlynching Meesh btw.

Clearly, you are voting for key. However, do you understand what I'm saying about her sitting at L1?

I get what you're saying but I'm still being cautious.

Right, and if you were telling the truth, why would you be bringing this up NOW? It's been abundantly obvious I was countering Nol's doc claim with one of my own, yet you wait till Day 3 to counter it yourself?

Nice scum play--you sacrifice one scum member to draw out the doc, and then in order to get the doc killed (since it didn't work last night, you must have thought I'd protect Hoof once he revealed) you wait till an opportunity arises and counter claim yourself.

Don't believe a word Ishy says, he is such a liar. He is trying to entrench himself in with the town so that he and his scummates can pick us off easily with no questions asked.

Why would I bring it up before now? Nol false claimed and was lynched with no claim needed from me. On D1. With help from you I might add. Scum gambit clue #1. Kept you from being associated with him.

As for not countering your false claim: you didn't claim, you half-claimed, never made a full claim: scum clue #2.

And I never needed to draw out the doc in your scenario, you made it abudantly clear that you were making a doc claim, even if you only half-revealed, that you were claiming doc. My calling you out was unnecessary as you did that all on your own. You did my work for me in your scenario. Scum clue #3.

3 strikes and you're out. Sorry Meesh, you made your bed. I haven't claimed till now, and I realize I'm making it easier for your scummmates that will survive after today, but I[/b} am the doc and you are a liar. You are NOT[/b} the doc, I am, and you guys have fun in the QT figuring out how to get rid of me. LLL you are.

You misunderstand me, Ishy--you and Nol are scum together is what I'm saying, so yes, you did draw me out by sacrificing Nolder.

Okay, whoever made it sound like I'm claiming Hoof and Ishy are scum together, reread, because I'm not--I agree, it would be stupid to out 2 scum members after bussing Nolder just to get the doc lynched, although in a game where no coroner has showed up thus far, it has more potential for success than in a regular coroner game.

Which brings me to my final point--how stupid do you think we are, Ishy? Your claim that Nolder and I are on a team is ridiculous, especially when you claim that Nolder's false-claim and my counter-claim were just a ploy. Just stop and think about that for a second--it would be stupid to risk losing 2 or 3 scum players over a doc, right? EXACTLY, is what I'm saying. What on earth would possess a scum team, in a no-coroner game, to start off with one false doc claim by a teammate, follow up with another, lose a scummate on Day 1, and still have the real doc alive and out there to counter the second false claim? Especially since we have no coroner result on Nolder, so people are more willing to buy the gambit idea, which makes the whole play 10 times as risky as it would have been in a regular game.

I am on a team with no one. Nolder was never my teammate. I am not a stupid scum running a gambit to pull the wool over everyone's eyes. I'm the doctor, you are a LLL, and if I hadn't been posting at 1:30 AM last night, I would have had the presence of mind to vote Ishy at the time, but better late than never.

The bold is pure bullshit.

I went back and did a big ass re-read, and brought forward a bunch of stuff to discuss on Hoof. I tried to start a discussion, and it was pretty much disregarded. People like Locke and Soy, I agree, should be at least kicking in some perspective with their votes...

Anyway, nothing in this game is happening quickly, so I don't understand the fuss you are making. I also still don't see you trying to discuss anything - you are once again, just casting aspersions at anyone voting Meesh right now.

I'll UNVOTE, so we can see this "discussion" you keep feigning... but if you don't eventually try to talk this out, then I'm calling bullshit on you again.

I also think its dooshey to ask people for discussion, have me start discussing shit with you, and then have you accuse me of distracting you. Come on, really?

Wtf Song. That's me giving her time to respond, to talk, to discuss.

You are interpreting it as not discussing any other options. That's fine if someone else wants to, I was simply stating that I wanted to vote for her - that it was my opinion that she is scummy.

For one this doesn't mean she isn't the doc... she could've just not turned in her action yet. Like many people had said, night just began when you got your results. Which ended up you getting roleblocked, but your "findings", which you can't even call it that, are a definite null tell. I can't believe this is the first thing that popped into your mind. Ridiculous much?

Also you claim to have seen the Doc N1 so you "know" who the doctor is and here you now think Nolder could've been the real doc because of your faulty "findings". I think you're the one who is grasping at straws here.

You conveniently ignore my comment that I targeted the giv N1 and he self-protected.

As for the second part, I got a bit confused. Too many games get me muddled up. >.<

Blackhoof, can you confirm Ishy's claim?

Yes I can. I targeted him night 1 and he targeted himself. The doctor is the only role who can do that I have encountered.

Posted

*As far as you know, he targeted himself. Again, another role that can target itself is very rare, but a switcher role is much less rare. I've been in no fewer than 3 games with one present, and possibly more; I don't remember setups for all the games, just the roles that I remember stuck out to me.

Ishy was a big competing train on Day 1. It wouldn't have been a stretch to believe that an investigative role might target him Night 1, so switching him and the doc (me) would be a great way to cause confusion and make it easier to lynch the doc later on.
