Naruto leaned against a tree wondering what would become of this journey. His friends were depending on him, yet he had no clue who his friends were. Looking over towards the group all he could see was that they had all gathered up on one of the shinobi...they were going crazy spewing accusations and threats to each other... There was one who stood apart from this mindless violence and came over to were he stood and said quietly. "we'll get to the check point shortly...roughly 6 hours from now. We're about to head out and we will deal with this nonsense when we arrive."

FoS mean finger of suspicion. It's here you don't want to vote yet tell people you have an official eye on them.

 

Competing trains are where two or more people have many votes on them. It's a way to see who jumps on what and is a good tactic to spot voting habits and the like.

With the sun sinking in the distance beyond the travelers finally approached there destination. Each and everyone of the minds were racing....who was it that had died...was he the enemy or merely just an innocent ninja who got caught up in all the chaos. Naruto thought back it had only happened an hour before they had arrived. A group had suddenly formed and they had all gathered around the shinobi's whose mask bore the shape of a crow. They cried out there comments and demanded that he be killed. They were so sure he was and enemy and they would not be deterred. In the flash of an eye, a bolt of lightning shot through the Shinobi's heart. The rest of the group join in and ripped the ninja into shreds.

I'm only going to half-try to explain competing trains and leave it to someone else, but FoS means "Finger of Suspicion." It's like voting for someone without voting--marking someone out as worthy of keeping an eye on. "I think someone else is more worthy of my vote, but you're looking pretty good yourself."

 

Competing trains would be a build-up of votes on at least 2 people. So, in this case Nolder had a few votes on him, and then Ishy started picking up votes, and they were both drawing roughly the same amount of attention.

 

On Day 1, I think the idea behind competing trains is to try and put pressure on 2 people and see how others react. Who defends, who distances, etc. Then you can use that information when you lynch someone and get that person's alignment. If that makes sense.

Hells to the yeah! ahaha, I have to correct people when they spell something wrong, and I admit I do text talk sometimes and people are shocked when I spell something wrong, it's usually because I type as fast as a machine gun fires rounds ^-^ Good spelling will get you further in life :D

Thanks for pointing that out; it might be easier just to post a new post with the death scene and stuff from now on, just to avoid any confusion. XD Just a suggestion.

 

@Corrosive--Amega said this was a no-coroner game, that the coroner is a role. So I guess we'd have to wait till tomorrow to get a report? Not sure how that role works.

A coroner is a role that can learn what the peoples alignment and stuff were when they are dead. I don't think the coroner should reveal anything, unless it's something good, like Nolder really was the doc *shrugs* but that's just me, we don't want to lose the coroner too early.

 

I didn't realize this was a no coroner game. I think I skimmed the rules and saw coroner and thought it was a regular game >.> wish I'dda known that before I signed up *laughs* I don't like them that much. *shrugs* We'll see how it goes.

Well, some certainly interesting developments. First time for me in a non-coroner's game; can't say I'm a huge fan. >.> But it would seem pretty likely that Nolder was scum, and I'll keep that in mind when re-reading a pretty solid Day One

One more thing. Nolder wasn't the doc, but in the event that a coroner finds out that the doc is dead in a no-coroner game, that fact should not be revealed until endgame or until scum claims doc. Outing that a doc is dead in a no-coroner game gives away one of the only advantages the town has. Song has entered my suspect list.
