So who do you think is most scummy so far, Maw?

So far I feel Maw is the most scummy but I also am afraid he may be a newbie, I've never played with him so I don't know and I haven't seen him answer that. Course it would be easy for a scum team to use the most newbie member to stir things up behind that newbie-ness. Course the it would be easy for the mafia to pile on a newbie after a stumble like that and take him out. There's no deadline yet so I'm comfortable with not voting yet, especially since it would only be to have A vote on someone.

JLM, this is Maw's second game (his first in the BT mafia game), but he has played it in RL. At least, that's what he said to me. And, because I don't think anyone else will be lynched, UNVOTE, VOTE MAWTHTEX.

IMHO, being a newbie shouldn't protect you from being lynched. If you say/do something that makes people want to lynch you, newbie status should have no bearing on it. That would be too easy for scum to hide behind.

I agree with this. I haven't said it outright in the other game I think, but when someone said he didn't vote me because I was a newbie, I immediately thought "why?". I just don't understand it. Well, if there are two people, and I don't know who looks more scummy, and one of them is a newbie, I would, of course, let that newbie live for one or two more days. And don't forget Mawthtex is no newbie.

 

By the way, Red, you let me think of Ed, he also did that when I asked him. By the way, I think Maw meant that he unvoted Sakaea, and voted whoever else (I think TinaHel). But that's just what I think.

Go back read the rules, day ends at majority + 1. I take that to mean as long there aren't 8 votes day doesn't end and unvoting is still allowed. But maybe I'm misinterpreting the rule...MOD?

i've confused myself. thsi is what i get for designing multiple games at the same time. it's a regular hammer game, you only need a majority. thanks for catchign that JLM. i think when i was typing it p i was thinking middle number + 1, which is a majority.

Hey guys, just wanted to apologize for my absence. I have someone over and we've been touring some sites. But as of tomorrow night I should be on more regularly. I haven't been able to catch up with what's going on quite yet so I rather not cast a vote right now.
