I don't know Ley, that's pretty iffy reasoning to be potentially basing a vote on when the deadline is fast approaching.

Ley, throughout this game you have been posting fairly regularly without being excessive, and for the most part your posts have been meaningless. Vague accusations, comments on people without actually placing a vote, then you vote without giving a reason and plenty of posts completely unrelated to the game. I do not want to start another train but you definitely have my FoS.

I wasn't going to vote Ishy except if he would get a few more votes, I said. In a few hours, I will see who has the most votes, and vote that one, for a controlled lynch. But I really don't know who is most scummy.

Oh good, now it gets interesting!

Verbal; I've been doing a re-read and I have a question.

If Tina is indeed scum, could you please explain this to me....

Look at the vote count;

Deadline

12 alive, 7 to lynch

22:39:11

Vote Count

Chrissy (3): Ishy, Tina, Verbal

Nyn (2): Sakaea, Leelou

Verbal (1): Hoof

No Vote (07): Nyn, Amega, Nol, Ley, JLM, Chrissy

Now we know that Christine/Ed were infact Town. At ths point Tina was voting Christine and Christine was leading the vote count. This is good for the mafia, obviously.

Why then, does Tina turn around and do this....

I think it´s clear that neither Christine or Nyn are going to show up right now. If they do lets pressure them at that time. We risk lynching a doc or a cop. Lets look at the players that are here but don´t contribute much. Leelou has not posted much except for vote counts. FOS @ Leelou. Amega has not given us much either. That is why I´m going to unvote and vote Amega. I know this is meta-gaming and not totally relevant in this game but Amega use to post very little when he is scum. I´m not in any way saying that I´m sure that Amega is scum but we have not much to go on and I think we could pressure him to talk more.

Now I may be missing something, but to me, this doesn't add up to Tina being mafia.

Verbal - the cop has already revealed. And you are doing the same thing that you are saying that I'm doing - trying to get someone with a power roll to reveal. But in your case it's obviously the doc you are trying to catch.

And voting another player would be really stupid right now. We have already lost too many townies. I know you are not town and I hope that everyone believe me. Remember that deadline is today people. We don't want a random mk.

Not that it matters much but those of you that have played with me before know that I have caught scum when I have been cop and that I have never fake claimed cop.

See, that's not how I see it. I see YOU trying to get the Cop to claim. I HAD to claim or else get lynched straight away. The best fake claims are always the ones to get in there first. When I was getting pressure the other day, I was close to claiming early to just get it out there. If I'm mafia, I'll make that play -- like I said, the fake claims are best when done early.

In this case, there's no early bit - and no fake claiming for me. I'm claiming my role to avoid the Doc getting lynched = me. I won't be counter-claimed, because I'm the Doc.

Why wouldn't I have simply claimed Doc when I got some pressure before? Nevermind - don't answer that.

As to the bolded: really? And lynching a power role is better? Seriously? You came up with a great claim to lynch me, and this is the nugget you want to drop on us? I already explained it - as a townie, I don't want a power role lynched. That is why I'm willing to not lynch you, as I know you're scum due to me knowing I'm town, but I understand that I can't convince others of that outside of a coroner report. Which is why your fake claim has good timing and target - I can't sit back and get lynched and then free up the real Cop to get NKed once they reveal. The Doc needs to live, and as it's now impossible for me to stay hidden, I HAVE to speak up.

This is what you've been doing all game.

To me, you're acting like scum trying to get by under the radar.

Good question. My opinion is that the vote train for an inactive player was stalling out.....with the subject being talked about, it was unlikely for us to lynch an inactive like that. For Tina to remain there makes no sense for mafia - they want a lynch.

If you "know I'm mafia" you should certainly not consider voting another player. You are lying and you are bad at it aswell.

Re-read my posts, Tina. I did vote you. However, I'm a townie, so I understand townie thinking. As a townie, I don't want to lynch a potential power role. I realize other townies might be thinking that, as I can't prove you're scum without lynching one of us. But if you are lying, we lose the Doc. If I'm lying, we lose the Cop. We can't both be telling the truth, obviously. Both are bad.

That make me bad at lying? Heh - it makes me an honest townie. Think logically. I'd say think like a townie, but you're obviously not going to do that. I know you are scum because this is a basic game - there are no other weird roles lurking (most likely). You are lying. But without lynching one of us, I can't prove it.

Like I said (again), the town might not want to risk a power role like this. Therefore, I'm willing to think about alternatives. I'm happy you're locked in like that, but as part of the mafia, I can see why you have to. I'm trying to show logical thinking that is pro-town. You are not.

Wow a girl takes a day off work and doesn't get to check the thread till late and it explodes with claims and counter(ish) claims and someone already at L-2, someone who might be our Doc.

Looking at our count down clock I think I have a little time for a re-read. We need to not rush blindly in and possibly lynch one of our two power roles. My first inclination is to go with the first claim but that's only really relevant when it's the same role that's claimed.

VOTE TINA

I think Verb is telling the truth. It does make sense, and Verb is seeming more town than Tina is atm. So, I voted for Tina.

I'll try and hang around til the DL, see what happens.

A few things I noticed on this page just as I scrolled back up.

<SNIP>

sorry

I just got it mixed up

I'll post something...soonish...maybe

I'll be honest I might be distracted by Gears of War 3 in the next few days

if you want my direct input though just ask me questions and I'll definitely answer

I don't like this at all. You can't be bothered with this game unless we ask you direct questions? After the huge debate about inactives that got you a PR you decide to go inactive yourself? Yes that's a direct question I'd like your input on.

Wow. There really happened something. I'll wait what others say, because I think there are three good cases now. Verbal, Tina, and Ishy (see below).

Trust me, the one time I even mentioned Verb in my posts, it was in a far more anti-Nol context than a pro-Verbal one. Not sure where any of you are getting the idea that we are some sort of team. But I will also say that the only game I was ever in with JLM, she was scum too (along with me  ).

I underlined the important part, and the most important word (too) is in Italics. You say TOO. As if you know for sure she is Mafia. FOS Ishy. (and maybe a vote later today. But I don't want to start a third bandwagon on the day of the deadline, so I'll see what others think)

Really? This all arm waving "don't look at the Verby behind the curtain look at me! No wait look at Ish yeah he's scummy look at him he was on a mafia team in the past!"

Verbal - the cop has already revealed. And you are doing the same thing that you are saying that I'm doing - trying to get someone with a power roll to reveal. But in your case it's obviously the doc you are trying to catch.

Not that it matters much but those of you that have played with me before know that I have caught scum when I have been cop and that I have never fake claimed cop.

The bolded part is really irrelevant to the game right now Tina. I had never faked a claim either until a game where I was a SK and faked a Vig claim and won the whole game. Big deal. If you are mafia (and I'm still not sure which side I'm coming down on) with your teammates supporting you it wouldn't be hard to fake a cop claim, especially if Verb is right and you all targeted the doc night one, so you know who it is.

Sorry, Ninja'd lol.

Hmmmmmmm. Some serious thinking needed here.

I don't think you're very serious about your thinking because your vote is still on a doc claimant. It's your vote of course and if you feel strongly enough about Verbal to lynch him that's fine I just don't like the show of saying you're going to think it over while your vote is still on the person you say you're thinking about.

Ok that's this page I'm going back for a bit fuller re-read.

Posted

Ley, really? Wait and see who has most votes? Scummy. When Verbal is dead we should see who was very reluctant to vote him.

As I already said, I don't know who is more scummy. You can be telling the truth, but Verb can too. So I wait to see if one of you makes a mistake (and turns out scum by that) or until it is obvious who is getting lynched.

I don't want to do a L-1 or L-2 when it could be a Townie. It is obvious one of you is mafia. If I wait for information, the chance I vote the wrong person is smaller. I think it'd be a 50% chance to vote the wrong one for me now.

I went away from this thread for a bit to let a little more discussion take place, then come back and re-evaluate. It's 2am here and I would really like to be asleep. However I did not log off because although my gut feeling is to stick with my vote on Verbal, the Ed NK still seems fairly indicative to me, I am not entirely sure.

Verbal makes a good point about the risk of lynching either him (her? sorry) or Tina. Yet the deadline is fast approaching (and will most likely occur while I am at work) and if we cannot get a lynch I'm assuming it will go random, not good! That is why I haven't removed my vote and gone to bed.

I don´t know who you can fool with this post. I know I have viewed you and I know you turned out anti-town. I know you have voted me but at the same time you understand if people don´t want to. I don´t think that is understanding town thinking. Someone is claiming cop. No one is counter claiming so town thinking would be to test the cop. If the cop is wrong then he/she is lying and will be lynched next day. Your coroners report will show us that I´m not lying.

So you're not REALLY thinking. That's fine. 'Thinking' implies that you're changing or changed you're reasoning behind the vote, obviously you haven't, that's fair, you reasons for leaving your vote are perfectly valid it just looked odd to me is all.

And I'm very WIFOM about the Ed NK as far as Verbal goes.

Posted

If it doesn't matter why make the statement, was my point Tina. It looks like you're trying to get people to meta-game you. Not that I see a point to that. I think I've confused myself there, lol.

No one is counter claiming Doc either tho.

1: Hence I said that I would come back and re-evaluate, to re-evaluate one has to think.

2: Thinking implies that I am considering changing/removing my vote. If I'd said I was going to act on Verbal's post THEN it would imply that I'm changing my vote.

Gah... WIFOM, Red explained it but said it gets complicated.

Sorry, I don't quite get what you mean there

I´m pretty sure about Verbal and Ishy. I think I will start with a vote on Ishy.

I always thinks JLM is scummy but the fact is she has always been mafia when I have played with her, except one time.

Tina can I ask you now just in case something bad happens to you why you are so sure about Ishy? I mean you say now that you viewed Verbal yet you vote for Ishy right off. Did you view him as well? It seems odd that you wouldn't vote for the one you say you have a viewing for.

Louii do you mean explain WIFOM?
