Haha... see now, I brought up this very plan and was accused of being Cult. Personally, I DO think if executed correctly, it can be considered a viable plan.

 

Having all survivors join 1 family, allows that family to function as the town - versus a cult, and a small scum team (the other family). Make the game much more conventional IMO.

 

It's not the worst plan. That's what makes this lynch critical, and why I think the Lannisters are throwing so much money around to get Smash lynched. If we take out a Stark, it's far more likely that the survivors will band together to continue taking out Starks. If we take out the Lannister, then the opposite is true.

 

If I wasn't locked in, I'd probably vote Red. She's the more powerful player of the two, and potentially more dangerous if her side were to become the scum.

 

Mynd's post is very Lannister-esque, too.

 

Lannister - Esque or Cult Esque ? could go either way if you ask me its also got me looking at you as a possible CL or Recruit.

 

I doubt the cult cares which one of you gets lynched, and being that (I believe) that Red's the leading vote getter, I'd expect the cult to vote Red just to off her. Added bonus if she is their designated NK'er.

 

Being that he voted you, I'm leaning Lannister.

After catching back up, I definitely agree with CTM's breakdown of this situation. At this point it seems like we're locked into taking out one of Smash or Red, so it's a matter of which one gives us more value to lynch. We're essentially making the choice of which faction we want to start taking down from here on out, and of the player exposed for each side, Red is clearly more valuable to her team than Smash is his.

 

The amount of trouble they're going through to save her ass clearly tells you she's important, and that's only compounded by the fact that some of you have pointed out that her character fits in with that. With what's apparently a top player exposed and it seems all or most of their money blown on trying to save her, the Lannisters are already weakened, while Smash is just a Stark bannerman, which based on the information seems to essentially be nothing other than a pre-aligned survivor, and therefore not particularly important or difficult to replace. Not to mention, Red is all that much more likely to be a cult conversion target going forward.
