Been a busy month!!

Our darling Mother has created a new Award to recognise members that go beyond and put a lot effort into the site. It's please me greatly to let you all know that Daruya and Fnorrll were the first recipients of the Moiraine and Lan Awards!

 

We're getting a special socialising thread for all WT & Warders Members. Just waiting for the perfect name.

 

The Blue Ajah very successfully held their Blue Ajah Harry Potter Week!

 

The Greens have had awesome fun with theirannual PJ Party. Go have a look at who wore what!

We've had two lucky Ajahs welcoming new Aspirants into their midst, Christine chose theGray Ajah as her home and Lessa Nikia the Green Ajah! Congrats Ladies!

 

Sadly Vanion had to step down, but we're all wishing him the best for RL and Fnorrll has become Sword Captain in his stead. Congrats Fnorrie!

 

And we've had two lovely bondings. Congrats to Mother and Charis Sedai who bonded... well unusually

And Ahmoondah and naked-Frog!! Maybe your bonds last long!

 

 

The Yellow Ajah is having a Poetry Contest! Love to write or even just want an excuse to get to know a fellow member better? Well go and get yourselves signed up then

Staffie matters:

1) We finalised several matters this month that have been under discussion for a while:

 

• We instituted two new awards, called the Moiraine Award and the Lan Award. These are given to full ranking members who epitomise what it means to be an Aes Sedai or a Warder. They will not be given out often, as these are the highest awards that anyone can strive for here.
• Had to edit and clarify the Bonding Rules, as some initiates just HAD to go there
• Made a new google document for Adding and Purging members, which makes life much easier all round
• We didn't do much else staff related, as the Blues and the Reds went insane and almost caused the boards to crash with their hyper-activity. More about this later.

On the 17th and 18th of July I received notification of at least 560 posts at the White Tower and Warders. And read them all! What happened to the slow summer months on DM? lol

 

Poll question for the month was What Gender are You.

The options were originally Female or Male, but after Maj objected, a third one was added, namely Other/Maj. The results were:

 

Female: 46 (67 %)

Male: 21 (30%)

Other/Maj: 1 ... that was Barm. I'm still not sure if he's an Other, or a Maj.
