Actually Red it's like math with the if and only if clause.

 

If and only if you are scum then a closer look needs to be taken at the other players and how you interacted with them

 

Scum knows who is not scum. So they will ally themselves with townies to make them seem townie if the person they are allying themselves with is lynched or killed.

 

It's all variables like in science.

 

Your coroner report if it reads scum is a different variable then if it reads town.

 

It's like science because for example

 

Your running an experiment on what fills balloons faster, air or helium. The color of the balloon is irrelevant just what is going into them.

 

You saying the converse is true is like saying the red ballon filled up faster then the yellow balloon. The yellow balloon filled up slower then the red balloon. Which is true in principal, but not in relevance. Because your testing gasses.

No it doesn't. Your analogy is faulty. Hybrid is not making a statement of equivalence so the reflexive property does not apply. Furthermore, Hybrid is not even making a definitive statement so you bringing all of this up in the first place is irrelevant and scummy.

Jack - your example doesn't fir with what Hybrid is stating. by your example it would be the statement of "If Red flips scum, then Alanna & Lia are likely town" which is not what Hybrid is trying to suggest. which my original point stands that what he's also suggesting is that if i flip town, Alanna & lia aren;t worth lookign into since he's basing his reason for looking into those two players upon a guilty alignment of me. whcih, in a way, is clearing them by using my alignment. which is a scum tactic and why i called him out on it in the first place.

Ok, I'm back. Just did a re-read, and nothing is really jumping at me. So I'm gonna go ahead and UNVOTE my joke vote, and I will vote again when something pops at me.

 

I agree with Hybrid. If someone signs up to play, and doesn't, let the mod deal with it. My first mafia I ever played, I was lurking cus I had no clue what to do, and damn near got myself killed cus of it, and I was town.

 

Getting info off a lynch is how you go about getting your next lynch, and so on and so forth. So by lynching an inac we get no info, and start at square one next day phase. So, VOTE AMEGAKURE for advocating what I consider to be a scum-tastic idea.

 

 

these two quotes were posts seperate from eachother and the "Inactive debate" and FoSing Amega over it was already underway. the first post was done at 12:19pm and the 2nd was posted at 2:01pm. if she thought advocating the lycnhing of inactives was such a scumtastic idea, why post that there was nothing jumping out in the first post.

 

 

 

Sorry, I see both Allana's and Amega's point of view, but the whole lurking vs. inactivity tips it back into Amega's favor imo. If you hadn't been on at all this weekend, I could definitely buy your claim Allana. But the fact that you were here, didn't stop in a just say hey or anything at all, screams lurker to me. I totally see the difference that Red spells out too, because I was on most of the weekend and saw nothing from Red at all, yet saw you around. Yes, it's Day 1, but we still need to be feeling each other out a little, yeah? But, as it stands, I'll wait to make a decision and Unvote Alanna till I get a better feel for you.

 

this unvote feels scummy to me. to me it seems more that Ishy saw the pressure Amega was getting for pushing the iactive idea (somethign Ishy jumped right on) and decided to distance himself from it by unvoting. he also leaves himself on the fence to re-vote Alanna by still pointing out Alanna being on during the weekand and not posting while leaving himself an out by saying "i need a better feel of you"

 

 

Second thing: Part of the issue here is you are taking Hybrid's view of things, which is not mine. He is telling you that you should lynch lurkers. I actually disagree. I am a lurker, that's how I choose to play, that's how I always play. I don't believe lurking always hurts the town, it depends how/why/when you're doing it.

 

Hey now. I didn't say that we should Lynch All Lurkers. I did say that the town should take care of lurkers, and I prefer a quick bandwagon to poke them into speaking up. Lynching someone only for lurking is not a particularly pro-town route unless they persist in lurking even when confronted.

 

As for lurking itself, I agree that it can have pro-town motives. However, I feel that the cons outweigh the pros, hence my blanket statement that it's anti-town.

So this is the type of thing you don't want to say. It makes you look like you voted for almost no reason (or at least your reason isn't convincing enough to yourself to stand by it) and it shows the mafia that if they make a strong statement against who you're voting for that they can probably convince you to change your vote. You should stand strong unless you actually think that Amega is town. Otherwise you're like putty - soft, pliable putty.

By the way, Red, if you are innocent I appreciate your desire to step back from the tunneling -- which we both are guilty of, to some measure.
