Frankly, I don't think making a crack about you being scum, which is part of the game, warrants you calling me a dick. That said, you can call me whatever names you want. I'm one thick-skinned sob, so it doesn't bother me... but make no mistake, if you dish it out, be prepared to take it. All in the spirit of the game, cool? Now, back to the game... I'm pressuring you, because IMO you've made a litany of scummy statements since you chimed in... part of this game is seeing how people handle pressure. I am playing the game. The first time I came at you, you got a headache and disappeared. Now you come back saying what you do and don't do, and all I am seeing are contradictions.

 

You are either one of those goofballs that can't help but look scummy because of a complete lack of self-awareness, or you are scum. I haven't decide yet, however I'd be more than happy to vote you.

I get headaches too. I just don't talk about them in mafia games... I'm scum-hunting, and it'd be good if people looked at the information being exchanged and the statements being made rather than worry about hurt feelings. Its mafia, nothing personal! :)

Nah, to me it smells like Nolder knows who I am at JN and came at me to do some "big game hunting"... he's chums with Jack, who just started playing over there, and so far from what I know of Jack. Jack is one of the scummiest townies I've ever seen, and he is a steaming pile of contradictions, Nolder is coming across the same way right now.

 

But I'm glad to hear some people offering their take on the exchange... get some people "on the record".

 

I'm leaving my vote on Blackhoof for now, he hasn't even defended from what I can tell. At least Nolder tried to explain himself, albeit absurd. Jack is probably my 2nd favorite for a vote....

John I don't have a read on Nolder from evidence. But that post was the scummiest post made this game. There is a difference in playing scummy and being scum. Again you mistook me.

 

Also, Sakea was on your list, but I wanted an oppinion. Something more then Sakea is top 4 in day 1 scummy people. So your points aren't valid.

VOTE SONG for being unrealistic. It's first day and she was typing her hello post. I see nothing scummy about that. Your post, however, looking for someone to immediately jump on, is very scummy.

 

Finally I was beginning to think I've lost my edge.

 

Out of all the votes on Tina you honestly think mines the scummiest. It's silly for you to say you want to take your time and you choose someone out of left field. My vote did exactly what I wanted it to. That's the way this game is played. A scare tactic which was super effective, kind of like water moves against fire. You have moved up on my Dar.

 

More to come on the people I find most scummy but I'm on my phone and it gets tedious and its about to die.

IMHO, this is two guys having a pissing contest. Nolder is a bold player, and I'm not sure about you, John, haven't played with you before. But there's my weigh-in.

Nolder made what you thought was the scummiest post of the game - you stated that, you voted him. I asked you your thoughts on him, and you said "no read". How can you have "no read" on someone you are voting?

 

I didn't ask you IF he was scum, you would only know that if YOU were scum. I would expect that if you had some sort of investigative result on him being scum, you'd be making more of an effort to lynch him. So this splitting hairs over the semantics of "playing scummy" and "being scum" exercise is moot. My asking you about Nolder was an obvious request for you to weigh in on his play, since I know you know him from another board, I was hoping for some meta-goodness that could help give us perspective, but it was clearly meant to get your take on how he is playing, not a lesson in semantics... and that bring me back to the contradiction. You vote him for playing scummy, and then say you have no read on him. Don't talk to me like I "mistook" you out of my own ignorance... you can't get out of your own way you frakking lunatic.

 

Also, I gave my opinion on Sakea when I put her on my list. Her vote and the nonsense she backed it up with was one of my pings of D1. Did. Not. Like.

EVERYONE needs to grasp at straws on d1. my vote on tina was hardly thought-out and reasoned, but it was all i had, so sue me, i saw scummy behaviour, and i acted on it. you have just jumped to the top of my "scummiest players" list. i would vote you, but i do not want to derail a possible controlled lynch.

 

to be honest i am surprised that so many people jumped onto the tina lynch... it was for a silly reason, but it quickly snowballed.

 

the whole jack/nolder thing seems like such a gambit to me. two teammates trying to look like mortal enemies. and they are fighting over such a silly thing as well.

John my no read was based in meta. My scummiest post was based on a one shot evidence. Based on meta I have no read. Based on that post I think it's scummy. No one really has strong feelings for scum day 1.

Where I am used to playing 48 hours IS plenty of time, maybe it doesn't apply here.... especially given your started this post by claiming 3 pages in 12 hours was a lot. I'm used to higher volume... chalk it up to not playing at DM speed. I probably assumed wrong.

 

Its interesting that you explain yourself as "i saw scummy behaviour, and acted on it" and that's supposed to mitigate my suspicion of you, however, you then say I am at the top of your scummy list... because I saw your play as scummy and acted on it. What concerns me so far with this game, is there really aren't many people contributing... town is probably cannibalizing itself trying to make something from nothing with the casing so far, and scum is probably sitting back and watching.
