I have now read about the oracle roll. But I still don´t get it. Wombat was curious of his team mates alignment and send a dream to Nolder. (Team mate not named?) Nolder didn´t have a dream. Alanna dreamed that Nolder is a vampire. Am I correct?

 

A question - how do you think the doc roll works? Do you think it stops someone from killing or/and recruiting?

 

I`ll be back later, as I said, to vote. I hope more player will tell us what posts they wrote in the blind game. (I get that some won´t do it.)

 

My guess is Wombat sent the vision to Nolder, and Nolder is scum. Nolder denied receiving it, because he thinks it'll make us question Wombat's trustworthiness. My opinion, is this... we have a scum result on Nolder from one person, and another claiming he sent Nolder a report and Nolder denying it.

 

IF by some slim margin Nolder is town, we have 2 scum isolated as no-brainers for the next 2 lynches. If we speed lynch them, we may be able to avoid any conversions or day kills on 2 consecutive days.

 

At this point, Nolder has made himself look so scummy even if he was town, he'd be useless. The most valuable thing he brings to this game right now is his coroner report. Plain and simple.

As i said, my post was #16. Here it is with the links that were included in the original post by DPR, but not instantly recognisable due to the formatting errors. My feelings towards the mentioned players have not changed, John is beginning to spike a little - but i think that is more due to the aggressive nature of his playstyle, than any actual feeling of scum. Nolder - you are digging yourself in - the more you post in reaction to John the more scummy you seem.

 

My thoughts on Amega have not changed. I still think he began as town and then he was recruited, so to that end VOTE AMEGA

With the way I've argued with Nolder, I'd be shocked at anyone that doesn't find me suspect a little right now. Once he's out of my hair, I'll cool it. He's been nipping at my heels since his very first game post... he has been my primary antagonist in a game where I've made some very astute reads. I hope to get back to doing more scum hunting and less spamming once he's lynched.

 

At this point, I feel your reads on people are most closely aligned with my own... I don't know if there is a deadline or not, but I do think a vote on Amega is a good thing. If not in hour 3, then definitely in hour 4.

Well it seems like theirs multiplefactions at work. Im not sure about the full plot seeings how this is one ofyour games dpr. With multiple teams and vampires on another team. Then theirsthe part were we've been decieved so im not quite sure what that means. 1.jack 2.john 3.allana 4.min 5.song Half those just for being quiteinactive and the others for already stated scumminess. Also as far as it can be trusted lily is telling the truthabout getting saudia arabia...so im inclined to take her off my list. That'sall folks..

I think that this Vampire Hunter gamestarted with a team of vampires, and at least two teams of Hunters. TheVampires were probably a small team of four players. The Hunters are from NewYork and Team Paris. However, we have also seen mention of Team Saudi Arabia. Idon't know what to make of that team, except that one of them was revealed as avampire, and that was Blackhoof. I believe that the vampires are: ineedfourberfs Christine leelou John McLane There has been a reveal of a cultleader in this game who is also a werewolf. This person is Jack_D and he saysthat his win condition is that he wins if the Town wins. I believe him, and ifthere are any other werewolves out there, they should be especially focused on huntingvampires because they hate vampires. I know that I am NOT scum, I am NOT a vampire, and I wascleared of being so during the fast game thread.

 

#3. Conquest (waiting for him to confirm)

1. I'm Leaning that my teammates areClean, and that everyone else is a vampire/werewolf 2. I really think that the team thingactually just hinders the whole process all together though, any one couldbecome a fanger and teammates wouldn't suspect you till it was to late, anoxymoron i know but i trust those on my team for now... 3.as of now my team is clean... ihope 4. the win condition is to be able to change sides asoften as you can to be sure not to feel bad for lynching your teammates.

1. A summary of what they think isgoing on. I think I triggered the werewolf coming on scene because I viewed himand therefore the call to action was put out. Jack D being the werewolf inquestion then didn’t follow the rules on purpose to cause the direconsequences. I do believe we have a vampire teamand possibly a werewolf or two. Well, I know of one for sure, just need to findout if he has any pack mates. 2. A listing of who they think is avampire. After so many years in the catacombs hunting these foul creatures youwould think it is easy to spot them. However, these vampires from the Americasare different. It is hard to really tell as they blend in so well at night withthe rest of us and I don’t know these other people from around the world. Atthis point my suspicions are on Christine, Alanna or Leelou are our remainingvampire or werewolves. Maybe ConQuest, can’t get a read on him. 3. Doubts or questions you have aboutyour team-mates. My teammate and I have killed many vampires together. I wishwe hadn’t lost Sakaea so early on. Those other teams sure don’t know a goodhunter when they see one. I hope we vanquish all of these foul demons to avengethe death of Sakaea. I do doubt my other teammate has been turned as it wouldbe little use to the vampires. 4. Anything else of value that you think will benefit youand your win condition. It would be useful if all the vamps and werewolveswould just eat and bite each other. Then those of us wishing to go about ourlives and hunt what is left in our countries can just clean up the carnage anddo just that. Paris is a lovely city, I really hate spending so much timeunderground there. I would love to sit in the sun and drink coffee at a caféand lead a normal life. My family however has sworn to rid the world of thesecreatures of the night and I will uphold my families honor.

I don't have a very good idea aboutwhat could be going on in this game, and actually, I think that's somethingsome players may be losing sight of. DPR has pretty much said there are thingsgoing on we don't know about, so I think anyone who keeps talking aboutconfirming innocents is merely distracting from actual vamp-hunting. However ithappens, it seems to me that players could be turned at any time behind thescenes, so confirming people, either by teams or findings or the fast game, ispointless. Straight-up scum hunting (meaning, casing people by their posts)will be the best way to serve the town in this game. So no, I don't think eventhe people that came back "confirmed" town from the fast game aresafe. I think it likely some of those people may have actually come back asvamps. The nutty idea that players could be vamps and not know it has crossedmy mind as well, though I'm not sure how that would fit in story-wise. As for who is a vamp - I'm prettysure Nolder is. Aside from that, I just have hunches. I don't really have any doubts aboutmy teammate for now. I'm keeping in mind I can't 100% trust him, but I feelpretty okay about him at the moment. I had initially thought there might besomething off about our team, but one of our members was killed and came outtown, so I'm feeling less unsure about that. I think that's all I have to say.

1.I’ve been thinking that there mightonly have been allowed one CL position and anyone who tried to buy it after thefirst person did would just lose their points, but maybe the first person toactually buy it really got it. I think that’s where the werewolves are comingfrom. I believe Jack on that much. 2.I think the vamps are Team Saudiand Nolder is one of them. Don’t know who the others are yet. There areprobably some recruits who aren’t on Team Saudi, as well. 3.I’m fairly confident in myteammates at this point. 4.I can’t think of anything else that might be helpful.

First I thought that the vampires wason a seperate team. I´m not so sure about that anymore. If the vampires havebeen recruiting, and that is likely, then no team can be safe anymore. I´mhighly suspicious of one of my team mates. The other one I´m sure of beingtown. Well, as sure as anyone can be in a DPR game. If Jack has recruited there are morethan one wolf. And I guess there can be more wolf packs since more players thanJack could have been tempted to buy the cult leader roll. I think the wolfs area threat to townies. Suspects for original vampires: One(or more) out of Ama, Christine and Leelou. Alanna and Berf. Suspects for recruited vampires or wolfs: Lily and John.

I was thinking of buying the CL role.I was pretty indecisive, and was given a moral dilemma in which I could spend apoint to know if I should or shouldn't buy it, I was given a big fat no youdon't want this role. So there is definitely something up with the role, and Iwouldn't trust Jack D. Also verb was on my team. I am town, so there are vampsamong us.

1. I think that there is a team ofWerewolves. The Vampires are attacking the Werewolves in response. 2. Amadine, Wombat, and Song are Vampires. 3. John messed up. Was it on purpose? 4. Is there a team of Vampires and ateam of Werewolves? How many have been recruited?

I've got some reading to do to getcaught up, and some of this might be established game knowledge at this point.I'm not sure... anyway, I believe that there are multiple teams of Vampirehunters, as you say. I believe that there is probably a 3rd party or two.Werewolf? Something more gruesome? I dunno. Part of me thinks that the actualvampires don't know who they are... I do think that the vampires started with2-3 players on their team. 2. A listing of who they think is avampire. My top 4 for vampires when I left forthe lake on Saturday were JLM, Verbal, Blackhoof and Nolder. You've played withme before, you know I don't always FOS and vote those I think are scum, so afew of the people I pressed was more an example of pressuring and making a"loud" case to see if my scum suspects would try jumping behind me. 3. Doubts or questions you have aboutyour team-mates. This is the least scummy I think Lilyhas ever seemed to me. Whenever I think she's scummy, she is town. Her lack ofscumminess and vocal role as a leader in the game is either because she's morein her element here at DM, or because she's scum. 4. Anything else of value that youthink will benefit you and your win condition. You should modkill the next personthat makes the "you placed a vote, therefore you are scum" case. Itsentry-level mafia at best. :)

1. We obviously have at least twoscum teams now (Vamps and Wolves). It looks to me like several players could bebussing their teammates so it's hard to tell which are the actual scum andwhich are just OMGUS voters. Hopefully when this blind mafia ends we canconsolidate our votes somewhat and narrow down the pool. 2. Suspect everyone. Anyone could bea Vampire or Werewolf at this point. Scummiest players right now in noparticular order are: Tina, Jack, Nolder, and Christine. 3. Like I said previously, suspecteveryone. I don't have any specific doubts about my team right now but you canbe sure I'm watching them as much as anyone else. 4. It would benefit me and my wincondition if you could list all the baddies for us to lynch. ;)

A summary of what they think isgoing on. - That you are having fun! :) It's obvious there are now werewolvesrunning around among the vampires and townies, as to if they are protown or notis yet to be seen. 2. What i thinkis going on is that DPR is doing research for his next novel LOL gauging ourreactions to being locked up together....

 

High on mysuspect list is Amega - early in the game he latched onto Wombat’s FOS againstJLM here. Sometime after that i believehe may have been converted because here, he does a complete turnaround and votes Wombat. In thispost Amega agreeswith Blackhoof and casts a weak FOS at Jack.

 

Also high mylist is Nolder. Firstly for taking quotes out of context here, then backtracking on thoseremarks here and finally when Wombat castthe FOS at JLM, Nolder casthis support in JLMsdirection.

 

Christine hasbeen playing an overly defensive game (seeexample) which reeksof scum, but i don’t think that she actually is. Also Christine along withLeelou and Amadine remained untested in the Fast Game, which in itself ishighly questionable.

 

Song appearsto have a double vote here, and agreed with Blackhoof’sreasonings here.

1. I think if we kill the original vampires then they won't be able to recruit.

 

2. Hoof trying to distract from that point and lynch a player for that makes me believe that point even more.

 

3. I'm not sure I believe jack's claim that he didn't see the post, however in other games he has stated he has been playing from his phone so I think the point is moot

 

4. DPR throwing in we have been deceived has me believing in the sleeper vamp idea proposed by wombat and jack

 

5. I'd like to hear more from Berf, he has barely posted and what he has said has been of little relevance. He opted to vote on jack over hoof, who we know was a vamp. Something we need to note

 

6. I think the wolves are town friendly. In allthe stories wolves and vampires are mortal enemies.

I haven´t found an answer to this jet. What I was thinking about specific was of course mentioning Team Moscow. Amega and Christine have already explained that we are team Moscow. I wonder why there would be two teams with the same name. If there is two teams with the same name, that is. I know that you already have talked about this but I still wonder why John didn´t respond to my post. Something else was wrong with this post? Or just to occupied to play tennis with Noler?

First off - you that are suspicious of Christines and Amegas posts from day one - they were only trying to help me. As you might remember I was a top candidate for a lynch that day. I can´t prove anything but I think both Amega and Christine were town then. After the fast game I was suspicious of Christine. From some things that have been said on our QT I think that Christine might be town anyway. She is not on my top suspects list.

 

I have only read the part that has been written after the blind game one time so I don´t feel that I get it all. As you see above I´m highly suspicious of Lily and John. They would be perfect players to recruit - especially Lily after the fast game. They could have been turned vampires or wolves. Did Min confirm that wolves win with the town?

 

Before John gets all upset I will say that I´m not on purpose derailing your lynch on Nolder. I don´t know what to think of him. I haven´t looked at him as scum before and there are some players that I suspect that are on his lynch. But on the other side. Some of you are pushing really hard on this lynch and you would be easy targets if Nolder turn up town.

 

I won´t vote until I have the chance to read everything again. (You can be sure I´m going to look over the Nolder - John thing very fast - how can you guys keep it up saying the same things over and over and over again?) I´m not sure how the oracle roll works. If someone would like to tell me I would appreciate that, otherwise I just go to mafiascum again. I will be back later today, in time to vote before deadline.

 

 

I just re-read this... here are some specific responses to the items I highlighted red:

 

1. I remember D1 quite well. You had a gaff, and Blackhoof voted you with an explanation that pinged me - I voted him, and refused to vote you. I actually came as close as I'm willing to come to defending someone whose alignment I don't know in how that played out... and I'm surprised you left out that I played a primary role in moving the lynch off of you. You better have been town. :P

 

2. I agree with you about Lily. Definitely a prime target for conversion. I have posted numerous times my alignment, etc. Plenty of stuff breadcrumbed in hour 3 for a Lie Detector to check. Go for it.

 

3. I'm not sure if Min confirmed that wolves win with town, but I am pretty sure the MOD confirmed it when he posted Jack's death scene. This question pings me a bit... its either someone acting unaware of a death scene, or the results of someone skimming. Scum skim.

 

4. Have you ever seen a lynch train that doesn't have at least one player you suspect on it? I never have.

 

5. Some people have this personality flaw that motivates them to want to get the last word. I have a tendency to be that way. Nolder too, it would appear. I'm just glad in this situation I'm the one making sense. Heh. Apologies across the board to you all for enduring our back and forth, that's not the type gameplay I came here for - however, it was most fitting given the circumstances. Sometimes when you know you are right, you have to be redundant in these games... or the other guy will just bury you comments with spam and antagonism, as Nolder has attempted to do with me since his first post of the game.

As a routinely vocal and aggressive player, I completely understand why people are suspicious of me. However, look at the information I've put out there and apply logic.

 

I've said I am town. I said I am team moscow. I said Lily and Conquest are my teammates, I am team leader. ANY of this can be Lie Detected. Chances are the LD's used up their ability for Hour 3, which means tomorrow any of them can test me. Which would make me a horrible candidate for conversion for vampires.

 

Why would they convert someone that has dared the whole game to LD test him? So they can convert me and have me get lynch simultaneously? I don't think so, that would be stupid. Why would I openly say all those things if I was converted? So anyone questioning if I am town or not right now, is not thinking logically about the information I've given then and where it fits into game mechanics.

 

My openness about being town, and truthfulness, has made me a terrible candidate for conversion - contrary to the things some people are insinuating right now.

The air around Nolder ripples just a tiny bit. You question whether you even saw it...

Nolder is upset now, pleading, "Stop picking on me! Your crusdae is getting old, and no one cares! You've turned this into more than just a suspicion, and you have no evidence! Please, I'm asking you to stop..."

JohnM sneers. "I'll stop. When I snap your fangs out of your head."

Ripple...

Nolder is angry now, 'You've got no evidence John! You haven't presented any evidence at all, you dick. Show me one piece of evidence that proves anythgin you are saying. One piece!"

And on it goes. Until a few other members slip up behind Nolder with a Garrot, and noose him quick.

Nolder gags, fangs spriging from his mouth, and the air ripplse around him as he chokes...reasonable Nolder, pleading Nolder, angry Nolder... until a stake punches out of the front of his chest, leaving only dead Nolder.

My teammate and I have killed many vampires together. I wishwe hadn’t lost Sakaea so early on. Those other teams sure don’t know a goodhunter when they see one. I hope we vanquish all of these foul demons to avengethe death of Sakaea. I do doubt my other teammate has been turned as it wouldbe little use to the vampires. 4. Anything else of value that you think will benefit youand your win condition. It would be useful if all the vamps and werewolveswould just eat and bite each other. Then those of us wishing to go about ourlives and hunt what is left in our countries can just clean up the carnage anddo just that. I don't have a very good idea aboutwhat could be going on in this game, and actually, I think that's somethingsome players may be losing sight of. DPR has pretty much said there are thingsgoing on we don't know about, so I think anyone who keeps talking aboutconfirming innocents is merely distracting from actual vamp-hunting. However ithappens, it seems to me that players could be turned at any time behind thescenes, so confirming people, either by teams or findings or the fast game, ispointless. Straight-up scum hunting (meaning, casing people by their posts)will be the best way to serve the town in this game. So no, I don't think eventhe people that came back "confirmed" town from the fast game aresafe. I think it likely some of those people may have actually come back asvamps. The nutty idea that players could be vamps and not know it has crossedmy mind as well, though I'm not sure how that would fit in story-wise. As for who is a vamp - I'm prettysure Nolder is. Aside from that, I just have hunches. I don't really have any doubts aboutmy teammate for now. I'm keeping in mind I can't 100% trust him, but I feelpretty okay about him at the moment. I had initially thought there might besomething off about our team, but one of our members was killed and came outtown, so I'm feeling less unsure about that. I think that's all I have to say.

1.I’ve been thinking that there mightonly have been allowed one CL position and anyone who tried to buy it after thefirst person did would just lose their points, but maybe the first person toactually buy it really got it. I think that’s where the werewolves are comingfrom. I believe Jack on that much. 2.I think the vamps are Team Saudiand Nolder is one of them. Don’t know who the others are yet. There areprobably some recruits who aren’t on Team Saudi, as well. 3.I’m fairly confident in myteammates at this point. 4.I can’t think of anything else that might be helpful.

First I thought that the vampires wason a seperate team. I´m not so sure about that anymore. If the vampires havebeen recruiting, and that is likely, then no team can be safe anymore. I´mhighly suspicious of one of my team mates. The other one I´m sure of beingtown. Well, as sure as anyone can be in a DPR game. If Jack has recruited there are morethan one wolf. And I guess there can be more wolf packs since more players thanJack could have been tempted to buy the cult leader roll. I think the wolfs area threat to townies. Suspects for original vampires: One(or more) out of Ama, Christine and Leelou. Alanna and Berf. Suspects for recruited vampires or wolfs: Lily and John.

I was thinking of buying the CL role.I was pretty indecisive, and was given a moral dilemma in which I could spend apoint to know if I should or shouldn't buy it, I was given a big fat no youdon't want this role. So there is definitely something up with the role, and Iwouldn't trust Jack D. Also verb was on my team. I am town, so there are vampsamong us.

I've got some reading to do to getcaught up, and some of this might be established game knowledge at this point.I'm not sure... anyway, I believe that there are multiple teams of Vampirehunters, as you say. I believe that there is probably a 3rd party or two.Werewolf? Something more gruesome? I dunno. Part of me thinks that the actualvampires don't know who they are... I do think that the vampires started with2-3 players on their team. 2. A listing of who they think is avampire. My top 4 for vampires when I left forthe lake on Saturday were JLM, Verbal, Blackhoof and Nolder. You've played withme before, you know I don't always FOS and vote those I think are scum, so afew of the people I pressed was more an example of pressuring and making a"loud" case to see if my scum suspects would try jumping behind me. 3. Doubts or questions you have aboutyour team-mates. This is the least scummy I think Lilyhas ever seemed to me. Whenever I think she's scummy, she is town. Her lack ofscumminess and vocal role as a leader in the game is either because she's morein her element here at DM, or because she's scum. 4. Anything else of value that youthink will benefit you and your win condition. You should modkill the next personthat makes the "you placed a vote, therefore you are scum" case. Itsentry-level mafia at best. :)

1. We obviously have at least twoscum teams now (Vamps and Wolves). It looks to me like several players could bebussing their teammates so it's hard to tell which are the actual scum andwhich are just OMGUS voters. Hopefully when this blind mafia ends we canconsolidate our votes somewhat and narrow down the pool. 2. Suspect everyone. Anyone could bea Vampire or Werewolf at this point. Scummiest players right now in noparticular order are: Tina, Jack, Nolder, and Christine. 3. Like I said previously, suspecteveryone. I don't have any specific doubts about my team right now but you canbe sure I'm watching them as much as anyone else. 4. It would benefit me and my wincondition if you could list all the baddies for us to lynch. ;)

What i thinkis going on is that DPR is doing research for his next novel LOL gauging ourreactions to being locked up together....

 

High on mysuspect list is Amega - early in the game he latched onto Wombat’s FOS againstJLM here. Sometime after that i believehe may have been converted because here, he does a complete turnaround and votes Wombat. In thispost Amega agreeswith Blackhoof and casts a weak FOS at Jack.

 

Also high mylist is Nolder. Firstly for taking quotes out of context here, then backtracking on thoseremarks here and finally when Wombat castthe FOS at JLM, Nolder casthis support in JLMsdirection.

 

Christine hasbeen playing an overly defensive game (seeexample) which reeksof scum, but i don’t think that she actually is. Also Christine along withLeelou and Amadine remained untested in the Fast Game, which in itself ishighly questionable.

 

Song appearsto have a double vote here, and agreed with Blackhoof’sreasonings here.
