questions on the warder bond

We know for the Warders they get the following benefits: Faster Healing, Better Stamina, etc...

There are the mutual benefits of being able to know how one is feeling and know where each other are.

What about the Aes Sedai/Ashaman? What exclusive benefits do they get? we know they can compulse the bondee to do whatever they want - we have seen this.

But it has been hinted at, but can the Aes sedai drain the life of the Warder and effectively kill them in order to get more stamina to continue on? If so, do you think we will see this in the last book?

I know that an Aes Sedai can compel her Warder but when Alanna bonded Rand, she couldn't compel him. They didn't have the Warder bond in the AOL, so this would make Rand the first channeler of saidin to ever be bonded. Im guessing that you cant compel someone that has been bonded to you if they can channel.

i think it would be possible to drain them enough to kill them, but that doing so would not increase stamina. one would probably want to stop before they died, or one would be drained back down to less than zero. hypothetically.

in other words, it would be as possible as jumping off a building in order to fly. it would work until you hit the ground.

I Don't think they can drain their warders at all, and all compelling (is that a word) seems to be from "evil" ashaman to their AS so it could be compulsion or something else not the bond. I know my lack of evidence isn't very compelling ;)

the bonding was compared to an unequal link that can be done without the target accepting it, a bit like the adam, the bond though does not seem to allow the link to be used for channeling though which the adam can do, and it is rather limited in controlling, the aes sedai can only sorta make really strong suggestions through the bond, that can be disobeyed if the warder was quite opposed (as found out with Lan and Myrelle isn't it? She had to carefully nudge him through the bond to get him to do what she wanted.

The adam infact was probably based off something like a warder bond but made much stronger and non permanant.

According to quotes from interviews etc, Yes the Aes Sedai and draw power from the bond as seen in the later parts of New Spring. As been said, though, even though they can drain him to death, doing so might be a bad idea considering the consequences of a warder dying.

I guess they could drain him to the brink of death and then release him.

However, as have been said in the quotes, the Aes Sedai bond because they want someone who can guard their back. Abusing your Warder is not the best way to accomplish this.

The Aes Sedai bond seems to have a far lower degree of compulsion (more akin to the weave Verin uses on the sisters from Dumai Wells) than that of the Ashaman bond. The Aes Sedai bonding of male channelers has not been shown to be capable of compulsion, however that doesnt mean it cannot be as Rand is an exceptional case; on the other hand we can see that the Ashaman bonding of female channelers can compel - perhaps the individuals relative strength in the one power or their capability with spirit are contributors towards bond compulsion and resisting said compulsion.

On the Adam front, there does not seem the ability to compel anything other than the one power, instead they can prohibit and provide sensations; while the Male adam (forget the proper name, something ring) is shown to actually physically compel the wearer as well as their saidin.
