How was it that Rand had so much power in VoG?

The cord was all. It hummed. It sang. It called Rand’s soul. One bright finger-strand lifted away, drifted, touched him, and he gasped. Light filled him, and heat that should have burned yet only warmed as if it took the chill of the grave from his bones. The strand thickened. I have to get away!

Light filled his mind, till only a corner was left for what was himself. He wrapped the void around that nook;

...

So in all these examples..light is simple Saidain, right?

And what about this line for example:

but a blade of light, a blade of the Light.

It's the same blade he has wielded many times later. How exactly is he wielding same blade later?

Light detected in Rand's mind by Nyaneve.

Rand's ability with the apples is not statistically extremely unlikely (like the grain), but IMPOSSIBLE.

Rand able to hold off Shai'tan impact within limited area.

Rand is no longer a mere man. No other ta'averen has this impact, not Mat or Perrin. And as far as we know, not LTT.

Just like Fain is no longer a mere man.

"Which is stupid since women are all weak.."

Weaker than the men, certainly. However, with their linking abilities, I would say they have a slight advantage over the men.

Someone of Lanfear's or Alivia's strength would be stronger than most men, and should be rare to find a man stronger than Lanfear or Alivia. Think of them as steriod to the gills "females" that you see very rarely around the gym.

Keep in mind that is only "uncommon" among men to be stronger (Cyndane strength) than Grandael in AoL and "very rare" among women.

Still ZERO _ZERO_ evidence that the Light in in brain does anything other than protect from the taint. There is ZERO evidence that he channels more or better than LTT ever did. There is zero proof his channeling is beyond the defined limits as we know it.

As for the apples and other stuff, yes the "Dragon is one with the land" we all know that prophecy. It has nothing to do with his channeling.

The original question is "how was it that Rand had so much power in VoG". And to be honest the answer is simple. He had the Choden Kal!

Egwene's comment about 13 AS. Naeff's comment at the battle of Maradon. His channeling and the affect it has on DF's. Abilty to 'detect' DF's. Avienhda's children. Wait for book 14 to RAFO.

Apples etc of course has nothing to do with channeling.

Obviously that is due to the Choden Kal.

You're not big on reading are you? I mean every point you've made I've quoted and offered quite reasonable alternative explanations (I believe). And you just ignore and spout the same points over and over. Forums are for discussion, if you don't care what others think go write a blog.

I addressed your points quite throughly, you will have to wait for book 14 for additional proof.
