Well Tink (lol not a reference to tinkerbell in anyway) is it not the what the mafia try to do is get the town lynched? so if there was 5 votes on Deadly_V1 wouldn't you want to jump the band wagon to get the lynch because the mafia know that he is town. No im not saying that you jumped on the band wagon because on post #102 you clearly state that you were basing the vote on previous posts by other players and some vague reference to some argument you posted. it seems suspicous so i seriously do not know at this point. will do a massive reread and find where you had the argument.

Mynd, if you have playued with me before, my play style hasn't changed from normal, just how I have played the last couple of games...and look how they ended! But I have played aggressive and I have been laid back, all depends on how I feel and how busy I am, which at the moment is very! Plus I don't know anyone in this game apart from you and Tiinks, so that really throws me.

I will have to reread..I'm in 4 games so trying to remember what is going on in each. Anyway busy day, but will be back today...

I think we should lynch Deadly on a general principle. I was with him last game, he was killed as innocent, came back as Maffia. Should be the same now, for sure.

I have a question for Mynd:

What were you trying to achieve with your post in the middle of the night? What was it, trying to direct the healer? Were you such an obvious NK target that you needed to speak up?

Well crap... I didn't expect Deadly to turn up Town.

This game has been hard for me to get a read on because we've got the same six or so people doing all the talking. There are a bunch of lurkers sitting back watching us run around in circles killing ourselves off.

Whoever dies tonight will give some information.

Is it just me, or is the waiting for the Night to be over the worst part?

CSarmi, there is a method to my madness, and that is all I can really say about my night comments. Just remember that WIFOM goes both ways.

I agree with you about Phelix, but Talya's playstyle is off, and I think a lot of that has to do with not wanting to get her hands dirty with the lynch on me.

I have been pretty much laughing at Geisha Master's half-arsed attempts at "beating the grass" but this statement struck me as quite odd....

@Tayla: You are right. Ending one of us would probably be smart for the town. I will be keeping my vote on Mynd for now.

This is one of those classic of gambits, partly of which I suspect Talya to be mafia with GMaster and put him up to this.

I know I am town. I therefore know that GMaster is incorrect in saying that I am not town. If he claims to be finder and that he found me mafia, I would know that he is lying because I am not. At this point, the glasses are filled with the poison wine and we must choose from which to drink.

I will not fall into this trap, nor will the real finder bite on this notorious of ploys to lure the real finder out in the open. The real finder knows that GMaster is not the finder and I am content with that.

I do, however, believe that Talya is the one veteran on the mafia team and is not playing her normal aggressive style.

I just can´t stop laughing! Have you heard of the fairytale of Peter and the wolf? Peters job was to look after the sheeps and alarm if a wolf came to attack the sheeps. Twice he alarmed and people came running to defend the sheeps but there wasn´t any wolf there. When the wolf finally came and Peter cried for help noone came cos they didn´t believe him this time.

Maybe your intentions are good Mynd but if you are town and realy find a scum it won´t be easy to convince the rest of us with all of your voteing. Other then that I think it´s strange that you suspect GMaster and then vote Talya. Again, maybe you are right this time? I haven´t got any scumvibes from Talya jet.

4. Before all this (Vieiras dead and the night talking)I thought about Deadlys lynch. What can we learn (other than that we didn´t do a good job finding scum)? I have studied Tiinkers posts. He doesn´t have any own thoughts (cos they disappeard after Mynds funny picture) other than he thought Deadly was scum. In post #129 he is no longer sure that Deadly is scum but he didn´t unvote him. Is this a way to try distansing him self from Deadlys lynch? This is scummy.

Sorry, accidentally passed it by. My thoughts? I'm not going to bore everyone with a long long post, but in my opinion its Phelix who is coming off as the most scummy. His posts have pinged me and I've said so. Mynd seemed to be completely random in the beginning but from time to time I'm trying to view things from his point-of-view and its not totally crazy. I can see where he's coming from.

Why did I not unvote Deadly? There were 5 votes on him at the time and we needed 7. Since I wasn't sure, I decided to say it in the hope that someone would notice. What makes that more scummy than being one of the people that jumped on the vote without much argument? The whole "trying to make yourself seem innocent" idea again?

You have to understand that

1. I have asked you twice what your thoughts are and you haven´t answered.

2. It seems like you tried to distans yourself from the Deadly lynch wich you took part in.

made me suspisious of you. Of course your sneeky style could be based on the fact that you are town and don´t whant to stand out and then get lynched. But it could also mean you are a scum that is afraid of revealing to much.

As of now though I'm going to Vote Phelix. He's stuck out the most to me and i'm going to keep my vote on him until someone can convince me otherwise.

@Tina Sorry if it seemed like I was ignoring you! I've been out and about alot in the past couple days celebrating end of exams and had a few basketball games so i'll be more attentive from now on :)

I was in a game before with Blackhoof before and we lynched him on Day 1 and came back as a mafia. But he flipped scum and not town. And since he had been scum and got a look at their personal thread, he would know who else was mafia so if he came back to the game he could only come back as a mafia.

Deadly was town. I don't get what's stopping him from being town twice seeing as he doesn't have any dirt on anyone.

The way he went down last day as townie (no defense, no counter, no nothing, no done anything to help down), I really didn't like. I hope he's scum now again so we can lynch him.

I also think I have to think through my own FOS list. There has happend a lot since I made my last one. I will absolutely keep a spot open to Csarmi after his wishing to kill Deadly 2. He has by him self noticed that it´s not logical so I don´t have to do it again. I will defenetly take a look at this Mynd vs GMaster fight. But that has to wait for tomorrow. Okay, had a quick look through. I'm curious about Phelix. People have quoted his comment about him being surprised when Deadly (1) turned up Town. He wasn't on the lynch, but puts forward that the thought Mav was more suspicious. I don't think he has been round since day started.

GM's run on Mynd, when I reread just now, his comment on 'the info gained during the night' I took as what had been said on this thread. It was only reading the comments after that about people thought he was saying if he had a role he should come forward. GM denies having a finder role. This is a Standard game so he couldn't have got information from the Mod, so I think he was on about what was said during the night! Unless he was going to claim finder, but I didn't get that impression on the reread. He is however very insistent on Mynd, if Mafia would he really go after someone like that.

Mynd, you are jumping again all over the place. I find your 'Gm is mafia so Talya must be pulling his strings' and then voting me, one of the oddest moves you have done! I really didn't get it. Even after rereading! Now you are going after GM. Out of the Two, I think you look the scummier.

Tiink isn't shouting out to me, neither is Tina. the others don't seem to have been around much to make any sense.

But I'm going to go with GM on this.

First, what exactly would you learn from a lynch on me? GMaster is hinting at being the finder, but is avoiding the actual claim. He is pushing for a lynch on me with nothing to back it up. Talya is panicking and her vote on me is pretty much OMGUS after the fact.

Second, I am not claiming to be the finder or the healer. I am sure that GMaster is not the finder because I know I am a vanilla townie and in a Standard/Basic game like this, the finder would read me as innocent.

Tinker, did you actually read CSarmi's post? He is voting for GMaster not me. Why did you agree with his post and then vote the opposite?

GMaster is being reckless and half-arsed in his accusations. He is trying to force a lynch with nothing to back it up. If he had some divine information from last night, why is he reluctant to share it?

First bold: again, what is this?! we have 10 players. I can't see how you can claim the town would lose by lynching you. Worst case it would become 5-3 for next day and that's assuming you're town. So wtf?

I'm starting to think that GMaster is being told what to say by a mentor who is very familiar with my playstyle. The problem is, the execution is poor. This is why at first I was thinking Talya was behind him, but I forgot about the mentor thing. Whoever is advising GMaster is doing a poor job and is gonna get him killed at the expense of trying to play reckless.

Having said that, I would like to ask a general question to everyone in the game. How do you case a suspect? Do focus on one player and disregard anything posted unless it helps build your case? I fear that this kind of one-sightedness kills a game for the town and plays into the mafia's hands.

Talya can tell you, I've been mafia and led towns on numerous false lynches to victory. I've also been the victim of the very same lack of casing. The best mafia games are when everyone does their own casing and poking, not when they arbitrarily vote just so long as it isn't them.

So, you don't have to like me. Go ahead and consider me scum, in fact, that's what you should be doing to everyone. But don't ignore blatant inconsistencies like the ones right before your eyes. Don't vote just because someone "looks scummy" - please back it up with evidence.

For example, GMaster hinted at being the finder but then denied it. He is sure I am mafia. I know I am a vanilla townie. Do you really think we should lynch a veteran player in this game because GMaster said so?
