Okay, I just heard back from Wes to be sure I could share this. I know why there are no deadlines. Aemon's reveal was not the trigger. The time we are taking lynching someone was. Which makes me a tad nervous. I don't think he would reward us for that, so whatever happened probably isn't a good thing. I'm not proposing that we speed lynch someone but we probably ought to get pretty serious about pressuring people now.

Okay, I just asked the mod for the same information and got a huge PAFO. I seriously doubt that the moderator would have given you that information. When you lie in the future, try to make it less verifiably false.

You've clearly never played in a DPR game before. He loves to do that to his players. I knew it wouldn't look good to share info that only I have, but it was in the best interest of the town. How exactly could this benefit me as mafia, Dralid? I can't see a way, personally. I'd make up a better lie, if I were lying, I promise you.

Something to file away, but I'm about 95% certain Lily is an innocent, since I'm pretty sure I know what was in her opening PM, and that wouldn't have been given to scum.

Whoo. A lot of stuff happening, yes? Lots of pokings and twisting, is good.

I can see the argument for a no lynch, and I recall at one point it being an acceptable Day 1 move. However, I also remember being plowed down for suggesting it one time I can't remember what game. So, while I see the argument, I don't know if it is a sound idea.

Toy, I'd suggest you unvote.

You do, huh? Well, very well. *sigh* Wish you hadn't brought more attention to it, though.

Unvote

Kivam. Very persuasive, and successful in boxing people into corners that generally see them lynched. Speaking from experience here. You will forgive me for being overly cautious around you, good sir? While your back and forth with AJ makes it compelling to vote her, I must resist temptation.

Dralid makes an interesting post and accusation. But I would have to agree that Wes loves giving information to the players like that. He is like a master chef. While some lesser chefs, like myself, are content to let the stew simmer and boil itself to completion, Wes likes to dip his fingers into the pot and stir things up even more, adding spices here and there.

Conclusion:

Not going to support a no-lynch at this point.

Treading carefully where Kivam and Mynd are concerned.

Not voting for the moment.

Convinced Wes is quite enjoying himself right now.

First off, I apologize for my spotty absences over the past 3 days. I've been on vacation and only had spotty interweb access. Not an excuse, but an apology to the game/mod and its players.

To respond to whoever it was that said "Kivam is pounding the clear evidence on alanna into the ground" (i think it was Aust). I saw nothing of the sort. Alanna made a very bold statement defending herself and happened to be caught in her hypocrisy...along with the other points kiv mentioned.

Now, to Wombat. Dralid made a very good post. I wasn't trying to be confusing with my reply. What I was suspicious of is that he pointed suspicion fingers at 4-6 players all of which can't be mafia. by casting a large net of suspicion he was likely to be making us look suspiciously at a lot of people and therefore sow confusion..which is already happening due to the fact that we have 12 pages on day 1 without a lynch. I know there's no time limit...but still. I don't think Hybrid is mafia, but just because he makes one post that points out scumminess in people doesn't mean he's town.

To wombat's 3rd point, it's simple, I changed my mind. Song was number 1 and is now number 2. My reasons were clearly outlined by Kivam. Alanna was also under more suspicion than Song at this point and more likely of being lynched.

More later...for now, It's New Years Eve!

Noticed something strange while trying to show my sister how the game is played.

Once, there was a little boy who lived under the stairs...

This is an edited post by Wes. What it used to be was "intro" story. Not there anymore. Why is that, Wes?

He said when he posted it that it was a sneak peek and would only be available for a short time.

You got lucky this time, Lily. Unvote

Although I could see a couple of people coming to your defense and just write it off as 'your scummy pals', too many people seem to think that giving you inside info is the kind of thing the Dread Pirate Wes would do.

Ah. That explains it. Seemed really weird.

So, how does an anti-social mafia addict spend her New Year's Eve? Casing people. (Is that the correct term for reading only their posts? I never was sure about that.)

Oh, and drinking. For some strange reason, Verbal's jokes made me go get the bottle that was hidden in the closet.

I wonder if my cases will make less and less sense as I go.....

The bottle in the closet is always the best! For now - happy new year everyone! ( I'm completely drunk and can't post anything of substance)

My vote stays.

Also, Kiv I know what you mean. Well...technically I don't, but I was supposed to be in NY from the 27-31 and our flight was cancelled due to the absurd amounts of snow. Next year however...and I'll be 21 which means anyone who wanted to catch a drink in Manhattan, well I'd be 200% down for that shite! Also, I might be in NY over the summer, so if I am, I'll let some peeps know because I turn 21 in January.

On a game related note, I think Hybrid did a good job with his observations. I would say that Song and Alanna are looking scummiest at this point, but mainly Song. Also, it's a good read of the situation, but he also points out scumminess in about 4-6 different people, all of whom can't be mafia. This fact makes me want to look closer at Hybrid, his general and partially ambiguous accusations (depending on which person he looked at) could be a ploy to look town by casting suspicion on multiple people. If only one person flips mafia out of those, I think Hybrid is our next bet.

Hybrid did a good job observing but he deserves a closer look? IF only one of the multiple people Hybrid suspects flips mafia, he should be next? So, five or six days down the road? Either he's scummy or he isn't, Krak. Which is it? Sounds like you're trying to look like you're playing the game without actually getting your hands dirty.

Wombat’s post 221 makes a good case against Krak as well. Same reasons pretty much.

First....this is very eyebrow raising to me....

Something to file away, but I'm about 95% certain Lily is an innocent, since I'm pretty sure I know what was in her opening PM, and that wouldn't have been given to scum.

I am awaking from my New Years hangover, I feel like its already 2012 and the Last Battle is being fought in my brain. Any Yellows out there got a good cure for this?

In the above, Kivam is dismissing Dralid's reason for voting Lily when Dralid seemed absolutely sure that there is an issue. While I was halfway ready to vote Lily just because of her suggestion for a No Lynch, which will give us no information at all. How can Kiv be so sure what she was given in her opening PM? Kiv, if you have something to say like that just say it, no room for riddles here.

Im not buying Aemon Kristen's one shot finder, but his lynch won't yield much info as others.

The lynch on AlannaLynn looks like the mafia looking for a scapegoat.

Kivam is defending Lily very hard and trying to force this lynch on AlannaLynn without considering any other options. That doesn't sound like a scum-hunter to me, that reads like just scum.

I say we lynch Lily or Kivam. Either one will give us a lot more info about everyone else than any other option at this point.

I can't say I'm thrilled about the bullseye Kivam painted on my back, either. I don't have a clue what he thinks he knows, either. You can lynch either him or me as long as it's him. I'll vote for him with you, too.

By the way, if you don't get my humor, that last part was a joke. Although he is on my list of people I would be willing to vote for right now, that could change. And there are people higher on the list.

Yeah I would like to hear from Kiv about being 95% certain Lily is innocent and knowing what her opening PM. Sounds like a pretty bold statement, and I would like something to back up that claim. It seems pretty weird that he would just throw that out there and not expound on it more.

And believe it or not I'm still happy my vote on Mynd. That last post Reads like a lynch list of townies.

"If we lynch X and they flip innocent then we should lynch Y just to make sure". That's how it looks to me. I also find your staunch defense of AJ interesting.

I do agree that Kivam throwing out a statement like that in regard to a question PMed to the mod made me scratch my head as well. Unless he believes he knows what role Lily has, there is really no way for him to know what her role PM said without being on q team in which case a discussion like that would take place off thread.
