You crazy ass woman! *tacklesmoochielicksnugglebites* I just got a HUGE box full of goodies at work. Thank you soooooo much!! I'll need to figure out how to work that mini-tree ('t is so cute!!!) and can't wait to open all them packages! And that advent thingy is just the bomb! I don't think I've ever seen one in real life, we don't really do that thing here (I don't think at least), eventhough Belgium has a long history of catholicism.

I'm going to have to make room to put it all and I can't wait to check what's in those packages!! But you're nicer than my brat souvras, who make me wait till xmas to open my presents (the brats).

It couldn't have come at a better time either, love. Just had a very bitter pill to swallow and this just made my day! Thank you so much!!

*hugsqueezes her twinlove in to next week* Love ya' dear, thanks!

*giggles, huggles and smoochies and huggles some more*

I love you to miss not so very evil...*winks*

The lights are battery operated..cause i didn't think our electrics would match...with extra batteries..then one thing a day from each pocket for the tree..and the presents whenever you wish and want! *grins*

Just on the teaching side...most liturgical churches, not just Catholic, celebrate Advent as part of the church year! It is the time of preparation and prophecy of the messiah! The four Sundays before Christmas day are celebrated during worship with a reading from Isaia, or the Magnificat sung by Mary, the story of John the Baptist, or the prophcy of Bethlehem. Symbolically, there is a large round wreath or evergreen log with four candles, and one is lit each Sunday, until Christmas Day when all the candles are lit along with a fifth one to symbolize the Christ child. It is the Journey to Bethlehem or preparation for Christmas. Also my favorite season in the church! *grins*

Many people have a small advent wreath in thier homes for personal and family devotions during Advent, with bible readings and activities like making cards, caroling, visiting resthomes etc. There are also lots of commercially made kid calenders made of heavy stock paper, with a small door or window for each day that shows a picture, a bible verse and sometimes hides a piece of chocolate! Thiere also used to be ones made of wood in christamsy shapes like trees or sleighs, that had small drawers to hold tiny toys! There are also ones like I made you, with the small pockets to hold small surprises! *grins and hugs some more*

I was just bothered that you didn't have a merry little tree! So thought I'd send you one! ENJOY! Enjoy your little gifts..and I am a brat like your souvras! LOL I didn't send your real gift yet! This way you will get it just in time to open it on Christmas day!

Hope it was enough sugar to make the bitter pill go down a bit easier love and that all is well! Talk to you sooon I hope! *Hugs and love*

my real gift? You've given me plenty!

One of the battery thingies (the one with the biggest batteries) doesn't seem to be working, but that might be because it was set to 'on' so maybe they're drained. I'll try to find other batteries for that one. But the one with the small sized batteries is working. I've had quite a time unfolding the tree and hanging the ornaments up to today, but as a complete clutz, the tree fell over (it's not very stable *giggles*) and several of them fell out again, so gotta' replace them. It's a wonderful excercise in patience and delicacy (and we all know I'm a Master in both!). I haven't unpacked most of the packages yet, so they're under the tree with kara's. :)

The chocies are delicious! Must be Belgian ones

I'm currently in the process of building up my stuff to sent (late, as usual.... *sigh*).

Now, I know I didn't really send all that stuff you showed under the tree....
