Except that the closer you are to the center, the faster the time goes. Or, the time between two ages is shorter. At the far end of the wheel, along the spokes, it takes more time to change from one age to another. The farther the center is, the slower time goes. The further you are from the center, longer the time is.

 

All of which only matters if there's actually an honest-to-god Wheel of Time, instead of just a metaphor that captures the basics of circular time. I mean, the Great Serpent is even older, so people may as well be working out the implications of time actually being a giant snake eating its own tail

Well that is not necessarily true as Rand is sort of an exception since he is the Dragon Reborn. No one remembers the last actual dragon before Lews Therin. We know from what has been in the books that the Dragon and Dark One have been fighting for all of time, but no one knows anything about those previous Dragons from other Ages.

 

 

 

Lews Therin was not really the chosen of light reborn.....he was a form of the soul of the Chosen of Light without the power the the CoL possesses.....He was born simply to be reborn into Rand, the true Chosen of Light.

 

But Rand does NOT have the memories of the CoL of the past turning....he only has memories of Lews Therin......

 

The last Chosen of Light lived so long ago that no lving being remembers anything that happened back then......
