Was requested by haloun. I making this a thread for full discussion of Perrin's dreams, but here is the request listing.

can we have a thread on the wolfdream and how perrin is too strong there? it has baffled me because it continues after the ter'angreal bit in TDR. full spoilers.

I always thought it was Perrin doing it himself. Isn't it described in the books as him pulling himself in and making him stronger in the dream? (I dont know if i'm describing this very well.)

I don't really have the time right now to go searching through the books, but I always assumed Perrin is pulling more and more of his soul into TAR. Which makes him stronger in the dream, but, If his soul leaves his body, he'll die.

People using the phrase 'in the flash' is pretty confusing when discussing this.

You mean "in the flesh" ?

Its a common term in the books. I dont see how it is confusing....

Perrin never enters Wolf dream/TAR in the flesh

My thoughts on this was that it was something very ominous, the first time perrin is told that is when he gets sucked in through the hedgehog, and it seems like that is a major resaon for hopper throwing him out of the dream every time he has, which it also seems like hopper does this any time perrin asks him anything vital about wolfbrothers, the last time being when perrin specifically requests that hopper teach him. there is something there i just havent been able to flesh it out. perhaps perrin is also a dreamwalker in addition to being a wolfbrother? i dont know. on the subject of his dream though, the windows are also interesting, he is the only one who see the visions of the future through windows in the sky. any thoughts on this at all except the usual sarcastic comments on narg, bela, and whatnot.

The 'windows in the sky' is very similar to what Egwene describes as she's jumping to other peoples' dreams, the thousands of tiny windows/dots floating in blackness.

I think personally that in order to be a WB, you need to be a Dreamwalker, at least in potential. With some other 'talent potential' on top of it.
