So Anybody Wanna Teach a Class?

Pretty much like the title says, I was wondering if any Aes Sedai felt like teaching a class of some kind. Doesn't necessarily have to be Power related. It could be on etiquette, laws, survival, etc. I just didn't do much rping with other people as a novice, and I wanted to get some more in as an Accepted.

 

I'm a pretty quick replier, so you won't have to wait very long on me. Promise ;).

Pretty much open to anything you might be interested in, so why don't you give me some ideas you have and we can pick the one that suits us best. :)

Yay! Thanks Mystica! I've very much enjoyed your posts on the Open RP. I'm a librarian IRL, so the information access answer hits close to home, even if it is supposed to be for Aes Sedai haha.

 

Well....here are just a few ideas:

 

Air (her strongest element)

Spirit (since it's pretty complex)

Earth (her weakest)

--Actually anything to do with the power haha

 

Old Tongue (she's not as educated in that)

Etiquette (grew up in a little farm town, so she's not as educated in that either)

Reading Body Language & what's said by what's spoken/not spoken

 

 

*laughs* so obviously I'm up for pretty much anything. Whatever you'd like to teach, I'll take the class *g*. Did any of those sound good, or do you have something else in mind?

I'm not that knowledgable in the various OP elements (Carina would be though, obviously) so not sure how much prepwork that would take. And if you are as skilled as those other noobs (and you are), you're going to give me quite a run for my money. LOL

 

I've never taught a class here on the RP side so for my first, I'd like to take on something a bit closer to my own interest. I can do Old Tongue, Etiquette and Body Language. Either of those or all three of them, whichever suits you. :)

Awesome! I actually love that you chose something other than OP related - it gives us both a chance to stretch our wings, so to speak.

 

 

Thank you for saying I'm skilled - I appreciate that :). I'm sure you'd do a great job; no selling yourself short!

 

I would love any of those: Old Tongue, Etiquette, and Body Language. Whichever you feel most comfortable with. And hey, if we enjoy rping with each other, we can always do another class together after.

Cool, well....... *feels like a kid in a candy story, having to choose one sweet over others*

 

Let's go with Etiquette then. Though there is a limitation to what Accepted would know until she is raised of course, I think I can whip up a class in this. Though I suppose if it's a one-on-one it would be more of a lecture, not a class.

True, I suppose it would be more lecturish. Although you could always have her meet you in your chambers and have a hands on experience haha. Maybe she's even taking it because she was too blunt and spurted something out to somebody *shrugs*.

 

Also true on what she would know would be hampered by her status as Accepted, but she could learn things such as fine dining, how to act around a queen, around the Amyrlin, what the difference should be between Aes Sedai and both of those, etc.

 

I'm excited! Thanks for agreeing to teach her something :-D. Just let me know (or post haha) when you're ready to start!
