I don't understand--I keep putting in 'The Reveal of Luckers' and it keeps telling me its not a correct phrase.

 

Is this thing lying to anyone else?

I think I have a clue to the 'Third/Chapter 53/Choose' puzzle. The second clue says that 'third' and 'chapter 53' should be put together to form a 2 word title. The third chapter 53 is 'the price of a departure' and the price is 'a wedding'. This makes sense with 'the one I choose', because if I recall correctly BS is asked which of Min, Aviendha, and Elayne would he choose. I think he chose Aviendha. I just don't know what to do with the 'All are clues to one word' and how to fit it all into a title. I guess the one word could be Aviendha who is the third of the women that Rand met (but first for him to 'know' in the biblical sense). I have tried:

 

a marriage to aviendha

A wedding to Aviendha

a wedding with Aviendha

marry me, Aviendha

marry me... Aviendha

 

All are bombs.

I did the same. I thought for certain that 'a segade wreath' would work. If I read BS clue correctly, though, the name of Aviendha will be in the chapter somewhere. And if I interpret the first two clues correctly 'A wedding' will also be in the title. Now if I can only connect the two.

All that can't be in the title, because it's a two-word title, and also because all three clues are only in reference to one of those two words, apparently.

The hunt was slowing down before the switch. Brandon and Peter have injected some new life into it, but people aren't responding like they were a few days ago. There were a bunch of clues planted in Idaho Falls last night, and I tweeted it through the Wheel of Time group on Facebook which has like 900 followers and 20,000 likes on Facebook, but I haven't heard from anyone yet. I wish Brandon would tweet something about it cause he has almost 10,000 followers, but all we got was a retweet from Brandon's brother @monkeysloth (who had less followers than me yesterday, though of course he has a good few now), and a vague mention by Peter, which I think has made some people suspicious of a wild goose chase (though I doubt it).

Well, I for one had a hard time finding this new board. When the boards I was using got ate by a trolloc I just assumed that it was a glitch. After a while I went looking for the new board. When I found it it didn't have any topics on it. (For some reason I had to be logged in to see the threads and it didn't log me in.) After playing around a little I stumbled across the fact that I needed to log in. Granted, sometimes I can miss a 20 foot flashing billboard right in front of my face but I suspect that there are other people who are having similar difficulties.

 

I wish, though, that I had access to the old boards still.

Yeah, I had pretty much the same problem. And it's pretty dead in here. One problem might be that all the threads disappeared. To lose one month of discussion is too much IMHO.

Going off of the "add/remove a word" hint, I've been trying some simplified versions of earlier guesses. Just now I did A Book and A Plan, and then was locked out on A Riddle. There are a lot of possible simplified guesses from current ones, so there's a ton of opportunity here.

And of course, 'spear' can be found in TEOTW ch. 1. We're trying a bunch of 'spear' guesses; Tam is trying to stay on top of them so you can check them, but be sure to watch #wotgh on Twitter. This is moving quickly at the moment.

IIRC didn't Brandon say that after the split into 3 they decided that Harriet would name one book, Brandon the other, and they would use RJ's title for the last one? I think Brandon named ToM, but it could have been TGS he named.

Yes, and I replied. We already thought of that, and though I doubt we exhausted the possibilities related to that idea, it's still not tied to 'third' or 'ch. 53' (because TOM is the 2nd of the 3 books Brandon is writing, and it would be strange if he meant it's ch. 53 of TOM since we know nothing about it). Pretty sure we're on the right track with 'spear'.
