I don't know that I believe it, unless someone has a vig kill.  Because then that would mean the town could never win, because you could never be lynched, so you'd have to be day or night killed, and so far only the mafia's been killing people.

there were two offenses against me, one being a bit of metagaming, and the second being an unintentionally too revealing pm from a moderator.

so i therefore was granted TWO lynch-proof days.  yesterday and today (days 3 and 4).

Well, on the bright side of this whole thing, I think we can all agree that CJ just admitted, finally, that he is indeed scum.

 

Okay, my thoughts on this:

 

I believe CJ on having 2 lynch-proof days.  However, I'm not sure if he really means it's only for Days 3 and 4, or if he wants us to think that so we don't lynch him today and try again tomorrow, and fail.

 

I'd like us to be able to just have a failed lynch on him to get it out of the way, but the scum would win, so I think CJ should get his way and not be lynched today, we NEED to get some scum killed or we're done for.

 

I personally think JLM is scum, and I am torn about anyone else.  I can see Talya lying about her role, or Red lying, I could even see Wombat making up his being controlled, or Lia lying about her healer claim.  But I am pretty confident of JLM, at least.

 

I still want to hear what Talya has to say, but while I'm the only one voting, I'm going to [glow=red,2,300]unvote[/glow] and vote [glow=red,2,300]JLM[/glow].

Okay results from yesterday's vote. I sent 2 and got the same so;

Meesh, Red or JLM two of those are mafia. I'm almost certain it's [glow=red,2,300][glow=red,2,300]Red[/glow][/glow] is one of them. We can go for CJ today or we can go after the person with the contract power role and take it out of the game. CJ will still be there tomorrow and we know exactly where he is.

 

If the rest of you really want to I'll switch to CJ but I just think that the contract power is too important to leave around for another night.

We're at LyLo, if we don't lynch scum today, town loses.  I am positive CJ is scum, he admitted as much by verifying that I did indeed receive the PM from the mod that I said I did.

 

But I believe what he said about getting 2 no-lynch days, and when I say if we don't lynch scum we lose, I mean it.  If we lynch town, automatic loss.  But if we don't lynch anyone at all, unless the Healer (assuming we have one, of course :P) chooses the right person to protect, we'll all be endgamed.

 

So I don't think we should risk trying to lynch CJ, Red, and I'll admit that makes you look kind of scummy for wanting to vote for him even when it might make us lose.

 

Talya, the contract power role is a good thing, it's the controlling people role that's bad.  Contract role is what let me view CJ.  The Puppeteer role, or whatever it is, is the bad thing.

 

Has anyone else been offered a contract?  I would like to know for sure.  Red, could you please tell us who you've offered a contract to in this game, if it wasn't a one-time thing.

 

And I don't think we should forget the possibility that Talya is lying and could be scum too.

i don't believe CJ's claim on not being able to be lynched again; and if this is the case why would it only be two consecutive days instead of two lynches.  his own words pretty much tell us he's scum btw

i've seen the lynch proof thing ahppen in a game.  it happened when a player decided to reveal info after they were lynched.  the player they implicated was made lynch proof for that day, but only 1 day.

 

the scum milked it for all it was worth the next day and avoided a lynch on him to win the game.

 

and the fact that he includes metagamming in it as a reason why he'd be given lynch immunity is even more reaosn as to why i think he's a LLL.

 

if mods are gonna start taking metagamming into account on players then the games will get very boring indeed because every player is metagammed at one point or another.

i agree Lia.  like i said, we lynch aemon today and Day 3 we go for CJ or meesh, whoever we find more scummier.  

 

the only part of Meesh's story that i find hard to believe is that if the contractor told Meesh to vote for CJ that she woudl get a one time veiw, would happen to veiw the person she's voting for and that person would come up as scum.

Well, this post way back there made me think at first maybe Red was scum, because she later claimed to be the contractor herself, but then again when she claimed she still thought I was scum and used her contract to either set up CJ or run a gambit with him.

 

And I reread all of Aemon's posts, and I kind of got more of a Talya-vibe from it than a Red-vibe.  Mainly because of the "one off shot" thing, that doesn't sound like a familiar American phrase.  Plus it's true, having Wombat type "reslut" and then posting a big long Red-style post ala the Suras game going on, does seem a bit like trying to set her up.

 

I think JLM is scum, but I also think Talya is too.

And it's partly because Red's contract-giving role is not the bad one, I don't know why Talya would want to take it out, she's trying to make it sound like a puppeteer role.  And no one has counterclaimed Red's claim of contract giver.

to clarify Meesh, i wanted to seperate myself from you with the whole contract thing.  it's why i didn't jump up and vote CJ right after you and why i questioned you.  i didn't want to make it obvious for the scum that i was the one giving out contracts.

 

if you recall, they tried to use Aemon to sniff out my roll as well; by making him switch his claim to being the contract giver on Day 2.

I'm going to do a re-read and look at Tayla and Red HOWEVER I am more inclined to believe Tayla and at the moment it's looking to me as if Red and Meesh might be part of a team. Red has looked innocent to me for the last little bit as well so I'm confused as to why they're going after Tayla. To take the heat off of JLM?

It's because Talya and Red can't both be telling the truth, and I have more support that Red is town than that Talya is. And I'm not lying, CJ confirmed I got the ability I did by the failed lynch and his explanation for it.
