I agree with Wombat there. If you were a townie, that isn't helping the townies at all. So you now have said you are finder and claimed Lia is scum and now you say you aren't, but that Lia is still scum.

I don't see your role as being useful to anyone but scum. And there might be a nice little Gambit between you and Lia going on too. Though I would have expected someone coming up say she was scum!

We need to consolidate our votes. Aemon will not lay off me and I know for sure I'm the Healer and he's full of crap. CJ there is the possibility that Aemon isn't lying about something, and that's setting up Meesh. However, I personally think they're both scum. I think Aemon is trying really hard to get himself lynched instead of CJ and that makes me really suspicious. Is CJ their Godfather? Why is CJ so special that Aemon would throw himself towards a lynch acting as scummily as possible to make sure he survives the day?

Okay, I have a few suspicions on the Aemon-Lia bit but for now Lia does make an intriguing point about Aemon's turnaround. What if he is trying to protect a scummy partner? Either way I think Aemon or Cj should go, and after that hopefully there will be more light shed on Lia's alignment. I will [glow=red,2,300]vote CJ[/glow] as he has more votes on him anyways.

see, both times prior that i was in a mafia game, i fought tooth and claw to prove i was innocent.  and it "made me look even MORE scummy" and i got myself lynched.  EVERY TIME.  so i'm trying to put up less of a fight so i don't somehow look like scum when i'm, in fact, innocent. 

 

 

*ahem*, why would Aemon have voted for me in the first place if he wanted to protect me?  he jumped on me the second it was day phase.  and if he IS the one messing with Meesh, then why would he have her vote for me, and view me as scum?  If i was mafia Godfather or something with Aemon, i'd want him fired by now for how horribly he's been playing this day.  no, if he's been "protecting" me, he's done a botched up job of it  ::)

CJ, to the voting for you thing, that's called "distancing."  People do it all the time in mafia games. :P

I know I owe you guys an explanation, but I was waiting to see how this all played out. I suspected Meesh yesterday, because of the way she voted so I sent her the one time power she thought she got. It's actually all fake, as the special effects roadie I can make people see what I want them to see. I wanted to see how she would handle the results, after seeing their reactions I'm pretty sure they are both innocent. But I am absolutly sure that Lia is scum. I can see behind all the false fronts and she is not the healer.

 

With DM down today, it made things difficult, too.

 

Aemon, your a LLL.  you posted plenty of times in the Sura's Mafia game yet ignored this one completely until your name started getting votes.  yeah DM was down but that wasn't preventing you from posting in this game monday or most of the morning yesturday; so that reasoning is weak.

 

and are you serious!!  so now your switching your role claim.  now your saying you didn't veiw Lia at all and your th=e one who gave Meesh the one use power? 

 

sounds more like scum trying to flush out two important roles and then use the confusion in game to wiggle out of a tight situation.

 

i say we lynch Aemon tonight, let the real finder sort out this business with CJ and Meesh.

Here it is, but I have done it one post...can get confusing...thoughtI wasn't going mad..just yet ;)

 

There is a possibility that the One time shot Meesh was given, was actually a set up from the start. She is given the ability to view someone and whoever she views will turn out Mafia and she will have to vote for them. So she could well be innocent and being pulled around!

 

I did think that maybe Aemon had done it. He came in voting for CJ and then so did she. But then Lily posted for all to check their PM's. Aemon then came straight back in and chaged his vote to Lia. Something about that makes me think that he is the finder. If that is the case then I'm a little worried.

 

In a game like this I would expect 3 mafia. With the other roles floating around then I would also suggest a symp *looks at JLM* ;) You waiting for Lia to say something made it look like you were on her team.

 

The only other thing that crossed my mind when Lily mentioned about checking PM's and Aemon changing his vote and coming out, was that he had been told his nightkill didn't go through, and guessed she was the healer and quickly decided to frame her to get her lynched, but if he did that he did it in no time at all, plus there was a night kill last night, so this puts this theory at the bottom.

the only part of Meesh's story that i find hard to believe is that if the contractor told Meesh to vote for CJ that she woudl get a one time veiw, would happen to veiw the person she's voting for and that person would come up as scum.

Sorry Guys with the two big games I'm in and RL crap I let this game slide too long without posting, I have been paying attention though.

 

Talya, Lia being the healer is part of the reason I held off voting to give her a chance to reveal if she had a power role.

 

Not sure what to think of the Meesh/CJ thing, Lily giving that much information about a player still alive in a game seems like something she wouldn't do, hmmmmm.  :-\

 

OTOH, Aemon's claims have the sense of someone wanting to get lynched almost, anyone think there could be a jester in the game? If so, or if not, that kind of insane play makes real scum hunting difficult. Sorry [glow=red,2,300]Aemon[/glow].

There was a lot of back-and-forth discussion on who to lynch today. Someone must die - that much is clear. But who? Finally, the group decided on Aemon. The discussion turned to how to do this. Finally someone said "Just bring him out here and we'll figure it out." When people went to go get him, they found him already dead on his bunk, stabbed through the heart.

 

Aemon, band manager, vanilla townie, has been lynched.

I have a possible date, and since my guy lives so far away, he gets priority over you, if he can make it. Sorry. i think she's talking abotu a puppeteer sort of role.  where you tell the person what they have to type.  but unless Lily left no way for him to counter it (ie using actions) then he shoudl have been able to fight it or let us know some how.

Okay puppetteer, I think the only game I ever played with a role like that was Mynd's Heroes games and those were big epic games so I never thought about it in a smaller game like this. I keep forgetting Lily's reputation for deviousness as a Mod. :D

I was half expecting Aemon to flip jester after seeing that self-hammer.  I was certainly not expecting him to flip vanilla townie.  Something strange is definitely going on.  Don't know what to make of it yet.
