The BT will be destroyed, the Asha'man and Aes Sedai will both join together in Tar Valon, becoming Great Arvalon (Gray Tar Valon = Saidin as Black, Saidar as White) like in those Fourth Age passages speaking of the Great Arvalon.  Time will turn, names will change as usual, Tar Valon, Avalon, Great Arvalon, etc etc.

 

 

to which 4th Age Passages do you refer?

 

And I like the idea, giving us some influences and references for Avalon, but I don't remember ever reading that.

As for trusting AS, he trusts Nyneave, Moraine when she comes perhaps a few others.  He may be able to trust Cadsuane because although it looks like she royally screwed up, bringing Rand to Veins of Gold how she did may have been the only way it could have been done.  She did almost get the world destroyed but would it have been any better with Darth Rand at the helm.

It's actually

"heard in Great Aravalon" Which certainly reinforces the Tar Valon notion (given its parallels with our myth of Avalon.

I asked Brandon whether it'd be pre- or post ToM but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. There's a chance it'd be in ToM, so who knows.

Ah, I've asked him too, but you must be higher in his list of people to get back to than I am. Will you post his answer on the forums, assuming he'll get back to you before ToM is out?

Luckers, I got a bit impatient. Did you notice how Brandon answers most questions people ask him on Twitter? So I registered, and it worked. This is what he told me:

Dunno. Perhaps that we'll see them in captivity to Taim towards the end of ToM and Pevara will escape and rend the Black Tower early in aMoL?

Gaa! I was hoping we would not see any more of this.  Partially advancing a plot line in one book and finishing it in another.
