There have been some crazy dance trends over the years. Remember the Macarana? The Electric Slide? Do remember all the moves to Thriller? And who hasn't done a little funky chicken?

 

Relive the memories or teach new generation, what did you get down to and how was it done?

If someone starts the Chicken Dance, I'll remember it. I never liked the Macarena tune, so I didn't learn the dance either.

nuh nuh, nuh nuh, nuh nuh nuh..nuh nuh, nuh nuh, nuh nuh nuh... nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh..nuh, nuh, nuh, nuh! Not the same with out the music! And now that I think of it I can't really remember it either...there is wing flapping can clapping at the end...

 

I had to learn the macarana for a dance thing I did at camp one year.

Favorite dance EVER. But only because I have NO CLUE how to dance and when I was forcibly pulled onto the dance floor it was nice to have a set of clear instructions. :P

Er...it was amusing...sort of like the robot, but running in place. Ill try to youtube it when i can get access.

I used to go to a country club that had a lot of line dancing. Electric slide was the most well-known, but there was a line dance to "I played chicken with the train" that was always amusing.

ahh then theres the italian circle dancing, well i think even group has a circle dance, greek irish...

Sometimes I like the ones where you do the specific moves, but when I don't know it I don't like it, cause everyone else always seems to know! I remember doing the chicken dance at school dances though, good times...looking like fool, but so was everyone else!

 

I usually just make up my own moves around the house! or slow dance with the baby, yup I know I'm odd :)

Yeah, i rarely dance lol.

 

The only time i dance was at friend's wedding but that is the extent of my dancing. But i do remember the Steps lol. They always do it at weddings.

 

I dont go clubbing either...very rarely i go. But if i go then i just flow with the music lol.
