I see where you're coming from, Lily, but the sword through the heart definitely sounds like the work of the sherriff whereas the arrow sounds more like the work of one of the merry men. I was completely wrong about Pete, but I don't think it's a mafia setup. To me it looks like I convinced the vig and he took out Pete. I am still not convinced of Pookies innicence because of they way she is convinced that all the mafia voted for her, but will accede to the wishes of the group on this one. Who do you think we should lynch?

It looks even more like my first assumption was right. I just can't see why a vig would out Moggie without any reason for doing so. And the bit about the sword and the arrow I think confirms it.

 

Now who to look at today. I would like to hear from a few more people first of all.

You may be right, both of you, but I have gotten bitten in the butt by assuming things in other games. So, I thought I'd put it out there.

It doesn't hurt to remember that there may always be alternatives until you have found out exactly what happened!

Yep. Besides, sooner or later, SOMEBODY'S gonna do that play. It's only a matter of time.  :P

True that and I agree, it looks like Moggy was hit by Mafia (who got lucky) and Pete by a vig.

 

While not *all* Mafia may have been on Pookie's lynch, we can reasonably assume that at least ONE Mafia was on the lynch, if she was Mafia, they would want one on it so they could look "innocent" if she was taken down and if she is innocent, then they would have worked hard at making sure the lynch went through. I don't think they would have given up a "free" kill just to have a no lynch day.

 

So I think we should look at Tigs, Talya, Rose, Bela, Aemon, and Player.

The nice thing about Standard games (for the town, anyway) is that there are only so many setups the mod has to choose from. This is the only one with a Tracker.

So, that was a vig boo-boo. Whoever you are, don't feel bad. I did that in Alanna's last game. Vig is a hard role, I think.

Wow. Things kinda came to a standstill real fast. No posts in 24 hours, All right, I'll say it again. I don't trust [glow=red,2,300]Pookie[/glow] and I think lynching her will bag us a scum.

At the moment, I think Aemon is just a zealous innocent and I still think the best way to get a scum is to look at the voter's on Pookie. She may be scum or not but regardless, I think at least one scum would be on her vote.

I agree that there is at least one scum on her lynch, but I also think that she is scum.

25 hours to deadline. I hope more people get here to post or we're going to have another no lynch day. Won't the mafia just love that.

I'm going to wait to see how the vote goes. The Aemon-Pete thing is the only thing that has caught my attention, and that didn't seem to generate much interest. I agree that a no-lynch is bad, so depending on who gathers votes and why, I'll likely help get a lynch.

What is really frustrating me about this game is this overwhelming push by Aemon insisting I'm scum.  He not only declares it every opportunity, but he twists my words to make me look bad.  I said I THOUGHT the mafia was PROBABLY all on my vote day 1 and he twists it to me saying they must all be there.  It's numbers logic.  Why would a mafia member choose not to hammer an innocent if they had the option?  There's been no counterclaim to my reveal of character (or as best I can in a game where we can't reveal characters) and if there was someone else out there who had that character you can be sure they'd at least be voting for me to show they're calling me out.  I even tried to declare soon enough to get a different vote going day 1 and got the standard "we don't believe vanillas". If not for the fact that Moggy did have a sort-of-reveal that the mafia might have understood, I'd say she was killed for her defense of me.  Pete certainly was. If Aemon is innocent, the mafia are loving this.

There does seem to be a lack of participation in this game. Makes you wonder what people are hiding. I think about half of us haven't been on since the beginning of day!

 

I agree that there was more than likely at least one mafia on you Pookie, whether you are townie or not. They might have hammered you if they had been on. This game needs some dynamite in it.

Aemon's behavior bothers me, but I can't decide if it seems scummy or if it just bothers me because it's directed at me.  I'm not sure if I'll be able to check back in before deadline, but for now I'm going to vote [glow=red,2,300]Talya[/glow] because my reread made me wonder about her.
