Alys, do you have a way of knowing DPR is innocent?  I understand not wanting to lead a lynch on him with a playful vote, but you seem to be defending his innocence and trying to cast doubt on anyone voting for him.  I didn't intend to vote for him myself, I just found this odd for a mafia game.

You're also the one who defended and sided with a mafia even up to the point where she stabbed you and won the game, even while the finder was screaming that she was mafia.  So you'll pardon me if I sometimes question your Mafia logic.

I was blinded by love! And no one else here knows just how well she suckered me, so shhh :P. I like to think I'm a little less naive these days, which likely means I'm far more delusional. I still say those chat mafia games were some of the most awesome, so quick with the full ability to private chat with anyone and corrupt each other, just like Sirayn did to me. She really is brilliant like that. And I was the best unwitting symp ever. :P

at pookie- i stated why. he is too good of a player to lose without a reason. i also pointed out the beginnings of a bandwagon on big game as food for thought. i watch stuff like that. i don't like when players take out the better players before the competition has really gotten underway.

 

that said, i probably will never call him innocent without being a finder who has found him.

I know exactly how well you were suckered; I was modding that game, and I didn't stop laughing through the whole thing.  Especially during the PMs where Sirayn was being utterly shocked at the fact that she managed to dupe you so thoroughly.

 

Maybe I'm reading it backward, but I'm becoming inclined towards a (legitimate) vote to DPR, but only because Alys doesn't have the votes on her.  I can understand Alys' defense of him on one hand, but it can just as easily be one Mafia covering for another.  It's too early for it to be a finder defense (unless there's a finder-type that works during the day that I've never seen before, and that wouldn't surprise me).  Voting DPR off gives us information about Alys, either as Mafia/Sympathizer or innocent, depending on how DPR reads.

 

Thoughts?  Especially from Alys and/or DPR?  Not the direction I'd like to go, honestly.  I prefer a Day One where I can go after somebody for a silly reason.  (Speaking of which, I take it I'm not allowed to vote Jason in this one?)

I miss Keiran, he was my favourite pick for a day one bandwagon lynch. Ahh nostalgia.

 

It's so rare that we nab a mafioso day one, unless by some extreme fluke. I tend to think that day one sometimes the quieter ones are mafia, sitting back and watching, looking to see where to throw suspicion. So who has been super quiet so far? I'm not saying they'd all be mafia, but I think it's a great place to start. That being said, killing DPR would give us some information on Alys, theoretically.

i do not let the best players slip away for no reason when they can secure end game. we were just talking about sira...

I always tried to get rid of Sira on Day 1 when I played with/against her.  She scared me.

 

And yes, I am paranoid.  But being paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me. :P

I would also like to add that, given the subject nature of the game, paranoid is a perfectly acceptable play style.  I'm quite attached to the blackened, shriveled excuse for a soul that I have, and I'd rather not have some elder Thing devouring it and what little sanity that I have.

by the by, the finder comment was a condition on belief of dpr as a player. i am not now, was not then, and unless the rules change, will not in this game claim to be finder. nor will my death show such.
