1.  I tracked Pete last night.  He visited somebody, and then he was dead.  Not necessarily related, but who knows.  Also, not sure if his ability (whatever it was) was still executed, or null due to him getting killed.  Unsure at this point.  Also unsure if I should reveal who he visited....thoughts?

Ok, here goes.  Alys, I think you're lying.  I said I received no result from you.  However, I never stated what the results I get from players that are potentially roleless innocents.  If a player doesn't perform a night action, I get results that they didn't do anything or go anywhere.  Buuut, if they do something, I'm told who they visit.  Such as I know who Pete visited last night.

 

Also, Alys, I received a no results for you.  If you were a roleless innocent, I think it's more likely that I would receive results that you did nothing....which I have gotten on a few other players.

OK, I'll bite.  I've been quiet the last couple of days because

a) I was beating Mass Effect 2, which is a ridiculously awesome game

b) Lavinya has been so accurate in catching the scum (and I'm lazy) that I didn't really have any people I'd been watching.

I responded to your statements about Pete how I did because... well, it's damn well true. You know a tracker has no clue what the third party did, so you went with what you wanted.

If I was so mistaken about your implication, why not say something here?

 

I'm thinking you're guilty because of your answer to being roleless.  You're even referring to "your role" not necessarily being what stopped my tracking.....are you now saying you have one?

Misread on your part; you keep saying it could only be me. My role is vanilla townie. Someone else might have a device or role that stopped you though. It is highly conceivable that you might be exactly that unlucky since I have been confirmed for some FIVE DAYS! I can’t be the only who caught that Lav viewed me…

 

I'm just not going to automatically think that makes you a townie, as you know just as well as I that some people hide as scum by being helpful.

You discount the amount. There is a line with the mafia. Why would I keep pushing on a mod stated need if I were mafia? What mafia would react and act on every piece of available information to solve the riddle ON THREAD? Answer that logically.

I unvoted and revoted Alys because someone had a vote count that I thought said I had voted Lav...I think I mistook it though.  My vote is on Alys.

 

And Alys, I know where Aemon is coming from and just to let you know, I was warned not to even hint.  If I was asked a direct question about certain things, I was told to lie or anything I had to do to avoid the truth getting out at ALL costs.  So before you get all hyper about it, you need to consider what was told to the entire group, and is was that there might be special instructions with each relic to be added to the rules already in place with the relics. 

 

In all probability, Aemon and I have already crossed the line just by admitting that something was wrong with our voting.  I find it hard to believe that Aemon, if scum, would take that chance. That is why I decided to speak up.  It's a big risk!

I, personally figure, that isn't a relic that should be used unless you are sure of your target, which seems to be something no one is really certain of judging by the talk.

 

Yes, risks are being taken by some. Some people would rather go down fighting than to be easily defeated. "Rage, rage against the dying of the light" and all of that.

I never specifically confirmed nor denied if it was a relic.  I was stating that I was told to keep something private at all costs.  Then I proceeded to say not to get hyper because we were told there could be special conditions with each relic.

At this point, I really don't care whether you think I am lying or not.  I think you are very hypocritical in the sense that you tell everyone we should be working harder to figure out what to do with the relics then criticize people for using them.  Pick a side, do you want to get the relics figured out or not?  I know that I have jumped opinions, but the dirfference in that is, the only problem I was having coming to a conclusion on was whether or not your constant talk of the relics was helpful or not.

And, yes, I let my annoyance loose in the past 24-36 IRL hours. How many current players have said or implied they don’t know or are confused so they aren’t really trying? (They’ll vote for and kill the ones who do though!) How many current players have said or implied they aren’t playing their best games? How many of you are actually playing as a team rather than a bunch of individuals? Who wouldn’t be annoyed at that? It's a game, and I wanted to have fun, but I can't seem to do that when I feel my team wants to skate by on the luck of their finder only.

 

I am merely playing a GAME and trying to be as helpful as possible to help my team (town) win.

I understand getting annoyed, but you don't have to get an attitude with everyone else.  I am playing this game and have been since Day 1...even when I didn't have anything to add, I was still here.  I read EVERY post.  I contibute as much as I can.  However, I am not going to make senseless posts, just ramblings really, when I don't have anything useful to the town.  It wastes time, it confuses people and it's just pointless. 

 

I have gotten annoyed plenty of time, even to the point of lynching myself just so I could quit the game, but I have never let that affect how I deal with other people as they are just playing a game too.  If you are annoyed with a specific person or thing, then let it be known and get over it.  Stop ruining everyone else's fun!

So, yeah, I have been playing pretty poorly recently.

 

That being said, I'm going to try to step it back up.  Hopefully it won't be too late.  I looked back on Day 1 because

a) It's been pretty much overlooked at this point

b) There were bandwagons on two scum, so I'm checking to see how people reacted especially with all the Day 1 nonsense to hide in

I'm ignoring Lavinya because I'm fairly confident in her innocence (Alys had a great point about her change in behavior - it's from Night 2 to Day 3).  And Pandy didn't post during that time period.

I agree with DPR and Crusher. We need to get day 1 over and get some info. I'm staying with vote on Quibby (cause it's still a funny name) and encourage everyone to jump on my bandwagon due to the solid logic and the hours of thought that went into the decision.

Now to the game...Al, I have played in a game with you and know that you won't lie. I also know that when you want to, you can spin the truth like a top...you're kinda like an Aes Sedai in that you can make a person come to one conclusion while you meant something entirely different, all while not telling one lie.  It's admirable that you won't lie but it makes me pay more attention to what you are saying probably more than I should and therefore see hidden meanings in everything that you say.  Even with your explanations I still think that you seem scummy (possibly because of the reason above), I agree that it is necessary to bandwagon to get information, but telling the person that is in danger of being lynched that that is what you are doing, makes the whole thing pointless.

 

DPR posting so much could mean that he doesn't have a relic, but it could also be a ploy.  He could be wanting us to think that nobody would post that much if they had a relic so therefore we shouldn't even waste our time going for his....the same goes for Quibby and everyone else that is posting like crazy.  Or it could just be a mafia tactic, "post all you can so that the players that are on your team and have relics will have a less percentage of getting robbed".

 

The people that are not posting so much could be the same reasons.  It could be these people wanting to protect their relics, it could be people wanting to pretend to have something so that everyone will focus on them and their teammates, either town or mafia, can relax a little.  Or it could be a little of both mixed in both groups....I just don't know.  I just wanted to say what has been said before, "don't take everything at face value"

 

Alys- as for voting for Verbal so as not to get accidentally modkilled, I'm sorry, most of the games I am in have the non-voter modkill when there is no lynch....I should have looked back to check and see.  My apologies.

My 2 cents:  I'm most suspicious of DPR right now, and mainly due to what Alys mentioned about backing up a future attempt (i.e. laying breadcrumbs).  It is a scummy move, and therefore makes me suspicious.

Voted for Al Jenn for the reasons DPR and I had proposed.  Personally, I feel that our lynch of Al Jenn had decent reasons, so I'm not getting a scum tell here (hence me not bothering to quote it).

Based on Day 1 alone, I'm inclined to take a closer look at Aemon foremost.  Verbal and Tigraine slot into the next level of suspiciousness.  I'm not convinced that Verbal's a LLL at this point, but I'm going to look over his posts carefully.  Danya has been playing the most cautious game, which worries me, but then again based on her double vote power, I'd be inclined to lean towards innocent.

Alright, just had to get that out. Half is frustration because I stopped receiving replies on this thread and couldn't speak up at all. Seriously, looking at Hybrid's post there is far more scumminess out there than Alys showed all game. And I told you all she was innocent.

 

Also - I outed myself as finder DAY TWO. So, unless the 'real' finder died day one (and what do you know, that person was resurrected) there has been ample opportunity to counter claim and make a liar out of me.

Forgot to answer the questions regarding the info I am given.

 

All I am told is NOT GUILTY or GUILTY (when Kivam sends the PM. DPR called them not a cultist. Amounts to the same ;)) I've never been blocked from viewing, I don't know if that's because no one has tried or because it can't happen.

 

Also, I am sworn to irritating silence concerning my latest annoying development, like I imagine Tigs and Aemon were :P

Well, that backfired a bit.  Alys, whatever you wanted to say, it didn't come across as that way to me.  By saying roleless, it didn't jive with the results I got.  At this point in the game, it was all I had to go on and I took a huge gamble by placing a vote on you.  Like I mentioned before, epic failure on my part with my role in this game.  I officially hate the tracker role, lol.

 

I am now assuming that either Alys had a relic that interfered, or I was tampered with on those 2 nights (which is quite a coincidence, and why I was discounting it).  I was also not really thinking it was a relic, so you can imagine why I was very suspicious of how Alys answered me.
