It's more his pithy remarks, casual statements and overall glibness that are spiking my radar. The fact that he seems so callous toward the town (yes, I understand that townies usually are the casualties the first couple of days till people get a bead on the scum). When all of these things come together, I get the unsettling feeling that Wes is trying to play us all in one of his grand manipulations. When we hang him and he pops anti-town, we'll know we have cut the head from the beast.

Ok.. because the entire game so far you have made maybe 3 game related posts.  The rest has been rather spammy.  Even though a few times you encouraged everyone to step up and play and commented on the amount of spam in the game... I give you.. your posts... :P

Pg 6 reply 71... after having only spammed himself so far in the game...

*Is truly amazed at the amount of spam. Absolutely and utterly amazed*

Next post.. page 10.. reply 117 finally posts something game related... just a vote on Min saying she's trying to rush the lynch.

We are running out of time. I would rather have a controlled lynch then a random one done by the mod on any day, especially day one. So, what are your thoughts about who is mafia people. We can speculate all we want about the double voter, but we need to find mafia!!!! I am letting my vote stand for now. However, if someone comes up with some logic as to why they think someone else is scum I will listen. Doesn't mean I will blindly follow like a lamb, but I will listen.

Hmmm...rushing the lynch, eh?

Min

Next page (11) posts a reply to Min...

Oh, it's logical. But tht doesn't mean you are not evil. And now that you're starting to squirm in the hot-seat, I'm just that much more certain.

Then, after no reply for about 2 hours,

Okay, I am just kidding...ya'll can keep playing. Sheesh...

unvote Min

More spammy posts-ish.. reply 128 same page

Min's the one who's all in a hurry. Probably can't wait to kill someone. heh

reply 141 pg 12

Oh, stop with the flattery...*blushes*

No, an educated vote is always better than a random vote, which is your point. I just didn't realizw that our group was so sparse with the posting.

We do need to put our best suspects forward. I'll b back,,,

Reply 161 page 14

nothing but a vote for Verbal *even though he likes to ask people to explain their votes*

few posts later unvotes and votes Ed because he is "guilty as hell" (R 165)

167- more spam

Page 18 reply 214/215 more spam

Page 19 reply 223 first semi big post from him in the game so far.. only took 20 pages. :P

Look at it this way - we stand to gain the most info by lynching ed now - he has insured that with his claim.

* If he is telling the truth, we have learned a lot about what kind of roles are out there.

* If he is lying, we ned to go back and find out who he is covering before, because they very well might have another daykill.

* Lavinya is making sense to me.

Trying to pull back from a lynch at this point is not a great idea - look at the deadline.  This is mafia, townies die. Especially when they hammer themselves.

The right play is to let the lynch stand, sober everyone up and get the innocents to start playing instead of messing around.

Page 20 Reply 232.. more spam.

Page 21 reply 244..

Now now, you're just a little gun shy from being mafia with me and seeing the evil that I do. heh

But that doesn't mean that I'm always evil! (well, I am pretty much always evil, but sometimes I'm a townie. Like now, of course.  )

I'm just kidding. Let's all calm down - I don't want to be a distraction when we could be putting our heads together to figure out what's going on.

I need to do a re-read and think about Min and ed's roles.

Page 22 reply 258

Why are you acting so strange? You can carry a torch for ed all you like, but we're better off using the info to figure the game out.

Everyone knows that innocwnra remost likely to be lynched early on - now, your overreaction has me wondering about you...

Fine. I even agree with you. But ask yourself why I would do that. Why would anyone do that, mafia or innocent?

To try and get some info. And in the land of spam and fluff, do as the Roman's do...

I'd love to get dirty and play. Are you gonna bring it?

Lol I'm scared to go against you.  That's the problem. :-*  I much prefer it when I'm a DPR initiate.

That's ridiculous.

I spam, but you deceive...hmmmm, wonder who's the liar?

Posted

I'll bring it if you remembered the batteries, Wes.

*Slaps Aemon* That's for being fresh. Pick me up at 10.

Posted

Who am I decieving?  Where did I decieve?  Read between the lines of what I said and you will see how I know you are scum. ;)

Nae, we have to stay focused. He's just trying to shift the attention from himself back to you. He wants to put you on the defensive so it looks like you're the one squirming and dancing and trying to cover yourself.

Wes, You've been talking a lot but saying very little. And the little I have heard from you does not speak well. I am obviously refering to your comments on lynching for information. I understand that we can get valuable information from a lynch in most games, but there was nothing to gain from lynching Ed except to see if he was town or not. It reminds me a bit of how they used to test a woman to see if she was a witch back in the days of the witch hunts. They would take the woman, tie her hads and throw her in a body of water. If she floated she was a witch and burned at the stake. If she sank, she was innocent. Very few women lived through the test. It sounds like this is what you are proposing and I completely and utterly disagree with it. I name you scum, Wes, and will push for a lynch all day today and all day tomorrow until we see you dangling at the end of a rope. You know what the worst part about that witch test was? The dresses that the women wore back then were the kind that looked like a bell (i can't remember the name of it at the moment) so most of the women floated from the air trapped under their skirts. And ended up burned alive at the stake.

That was a weird little history lesson Aemon. I'm wondering if that was some kind of script, or if you got the weird role Pete mentioned?

Posted

No wierdness...other than my normal.  ;D  The thought just struck me that this is the way Wes is suggesting we all vote. Someone claims innocent, kill him to find out. The witch story is absolutely true and quite fitting to the circumstances.

I hope not I want to get the cool weird thing happen to me other than what Wes wants Aemon for.  :o

A howl can be heard all around the Torchwood estate. The full moon is hanging loftily in the starlight sky, illuminating the field below. In the distance a werewolf is being tailed by a group of monks. The beast howls as it draws closer and can smell the the humans in the estate. The beast breaks through front doors and sniffs the air. The doctor motions everyone to the tardis which is located in the mistletoe room. One member was to slow and got nicked by the beasts claw. The doctor closes the door, and himself and his companions are safe for the remainder of the day in the room.

Weird thing has happened prior to this post, but not necisarily adjacent to it.

Anyway, random speculating - does said person become a warewolf like in the episode with good old Queen Vic? I liked that one! :D

It looks like you may have been on the mark here Lavinya!

Posted

I... Ummm... what!?

I never watched Dr Who, so I have no idea what's going on.

And the Queen? Dead? Who's the Queen and why's she so funky. Geez.

Posted

It's one of my favourite Tennant/Rose episodes! I wonder if whoever was pricked now becomes some sort of crazed killer? Scary thought.

Boopsie - start watching Doctor Who NOW! You have no idea what you're missing. Seriously awesome.

Posted

Aemon.. first you said most of the women drownded then you said most of them floated cause of their skirts and so were burned.  Which is it?

I'm thinking to get rid of the werewolves we need to lynch Wes. ;)

Posted

Nae, you've obviously chosen to not play. I am saddened...

Aemon, your argument is crap. Day 1 lynches are for imformation - and 95% of the time, end with an innocent lynch. Lead a lynch against me for legit reasons, and you'll probably win. Keep trying to push this crap and you'll get zilched yourself. Just rying to help...
