Felton Norris, one of the Were-Panthers who was forced to attend the proceedings, loped out to his truck wearily. Tonight, just to throw them all off, a Blood-sucker wasn't going to be "murdered". How they could call it murder when those filthy things were already dead was beyond him. They deserved it! At least he was human...somewhat. In fact, he was BETTER than human. Crystal should realize that. Why she ran after that no-good Jason Stackhouse when he was less...ARGH. It was infuriating. Maybe they should kill him to throw their scent off even more.

Felton was so lost in his thoughts he didn't even notice the Witch loitering near her car. Nor did he pay attention to her whispers or the strange gesticulations she made with her hands. She was a Were as well and deep down he trusted her because of that...or at least he wasn't suspicious that she would do anything to hurt him. Suddenly he felt his windpipe being crushed. He gasped for air and clawed at his throat but there were no hands pressing down, nothing to peel off. He turned and noticed the Witch really for the first time. He grew frantic and then collapsed as the darkness closed in.

Little Miss, the Were-Panther Second (Mafia), was murdered.

Day 3 has begun, deadline in the topic. With 12 players left, 7 votes is needed for a majority lynch. Also the Mod is sad that the game is going so slow and may modkill inactive players. Give some SUBSTANCE and not just check in posts or you may be up for some violence by the Mod.

Ok, I just reread the whole thing. And it is clear as day that [glow=red,2,300]Red [/glow]is mafia. Her post above ^^ is just a confusion method - she's trying to sow ambuiguity into the mix. I'm also thinking mcs and/or Tynaal are her team mate. Here's why:

The first thing that struck me was that she jumped on Pandy's bandwagon. He had just hinted very heavily at cop, and admitted it openly a little while later. Here's what Red said:

Excuse me? He claimed cop, so you vote for him? For information?

Granted, it might have been genuine in the beginning. Pandy then says:

the cop normally only veiws at night and is normally only allowed to veiw one person. i'd be more likely to believe you if you claimed day finder.

i know that mods take liberties with their characters and roles, but with only 16 people playing it seems like a super cop and unbalances the game severly to have you be able to veiw two people

Bold is mine. Nowhere in Pandy's original post did he claim to have viewed them. Red was clearly putting words in his mouth. And I find it interesting how quickly her mind was thinking about the possible dangers to her mafia friends that may exist. Its not quite role-fishing, but I've noticed this ploy lately. Mafia often mention how unlikely is it for the mod to have done such-and-such a thing, or how the balance would work in the game. It buuys credibility with newer players who fall for it. But the truth is, you can never tell how the mind of the Mod works, or how they've structured the game. And the unnecessary and futile extrapolation on that is a lovely way for scum to appear to be thinking in the Town's interests.

Red's next post vindicated her quite well I thought:

^^ Immediately after Red's post. I find it highly unlikely for the mafia to be so stupid as to all appear to agree with another, so I don't think both are scum, but for sure one of them is. And I feel thats more likely MCS at this point. The time gap of about 50 minutes between the two also makes my theory more likely.

Red's next post again seems normal.

At this point, Little Miss' attempt at targeting Wombat caught my eye. We now know that Little Miss was scum, and so Wombat is innocent. His posts all game have been in accordance with that. He's played very well.

That's all I have. Red I'm certain is scum. As is MCS. I'm certain that Wombat and Pookie are innocents. I have no read on Rose - she hasn't given me very much to work with. Tigraine is more likely innocent than not.

Anox - you virtually claimed healer, then didn't protect the cop? I'm not saying you're not the healer, but can you please explain why you played like that? Is it because you're new to the game? Or is it because you were unsure Pandy was telling the truth or not?

first i wasn't trying to put words in pandys mouth, the way he worded his post implied that he knew that i was scum because he was the cop; trying to lend more credability to his claim by revealing.

to me, it was a scummy move and still is. i don't understand how my opinion of that being a scummy move makes me mafia.

as for my claim of there possibly being a SK or Vig or 2 mafia teams leading to confusion. or even a body gaurd. i find it odd that a healer woudl be responsable for the death of a mafia member. the only protection role i know of that kills is an elite bodygaurd.

and scum woudln't kill one of their own, so it has to be one of these 4. body guard, SK, Vig or another mafia team.

I can't really speak for Anox, but she had partially revealed as healer and we had a cop claim that some people believed and some people didn't. She might have tried to protect herself from a NK since she had put herself out there already, particularly if she wasn't sure if Pandy was serious or just trying to mess with us.

Good point. But it still set off a bandwagon on Pandy.

Maybe so, maybe not. Why shouldn't scum kill off their own - it throws the suspicion off track.

Again, I don't like predicting what may or may not be the set-up. If you were scum, you would use this cheap speculation to gain credibility with the town.

i didn't start a vote on pandy, he already had 2 on him at the time.

throws the suspicion off track?? dude you and i must have different playing styles. i don't see how the mafia can accomplish anything by nk'ing one of their own members when they were already one man down due to being inactive.

when i am mafia in a game i hate to sacrifice any player on my team; same with being a town. numbers in a group provide leverage especially since th aim for scum is to have their number be equal or greater to the town. the only time i can see it being benifical to the mafia to lose a member is during a gambit during the day. but this was a nk, it gained them nothing and us everything. if they did nk one of their own, it was a rather stupid move honestly.

i was only pointing out the obvious rey, because i found rose's claims of the healer causing the kill odd. i kind of expect to be lynched today, because of how close i came to it yesturday and that we have no other information to really go on. unless talya found another scum for us.

you know tigs, pandy is a good example for me, but this game as well as a few others are proof that he isnt always mafia; just most of the time ;) lol

I didn't claim anything, Red. But, with a mafia killed, I assumed that the Healer picked the right target to heal from mafia's nightkill.

Of course, that is the most simplistic answer, with another night killer in the mix. Who knows what really happened? There could be a deflector, bodyguard....
