Do you have a question for Brandon about tGS?

Saturday is the big day!  It's the last stop of the signing tour and my turn to work as a Stormleader.  After the signing we will be going out to dinner with Brandon, Harriet, and our very own Jason.

Does anyone have any questions that they want me to ask of Brandon?  If there are spoilers involved feel free to PM me.  I can't promise to ask everything, but I am going to do my best to pick his brain!

We'll also be streaming the signing, and will have pictures up this Sunday!

Please ask him if Melaine and Amys' dream about the man standing beside Rand with a knife to his throat that Rand doesn't notice was Corlan Dashiva?

Also ask if Egwene's dreams of:

"... him kneeling in a chamber where a parched wind blew dust across the floor, and creatures like the one on the Dragon Banner, but much smaller, floated on that wind, and settled into his skin."

and

"Rand in that dry, dusty chamber again, with those small creatures settling into his skin."

have been fulfilled yet?

I have a question though you guys/gals may already be able to answer it. What will happen with the rest of the originally planned series? Will the prequels be finished? Will there be follow ups to the series...a "what happened eventually to whom" type of thing? Will BS expand or bring in his own writing talent to the world in any future writings or will the last book in the main series be the end?

All of those decisions ultimately lay with Harriet.  She will decide those things at some future date.

Hey Arkelias, here are my thoughts on questions in order of what I think he might be willing to answer.

1. What was in Corianin Nedeal's notes (the ones Verin considers both giving to Egwene and destroying). Or will we find out?

2. Why did Verin tell Rand that damane may feel him channeling at Falme? Did she truly fear it might be possible, or was she manipulating him? And if so to what purpose?

3. Is the old man we see serving Graendal in an earlier book Alsalam?

4. Was Egwene's one-eighty on the issue of the Oath Rod a natural change of mind, or was she influenced to it by Halima?

5. Was Cyndane's new body originally Cabriana Meccandes?

6. Can you reveal a tiny fact--one not relevant to plot or spoilers--that you've learnt? Just a fun little tidbit to amuse the fans?

That questions being asked and answered several times--its essentially what Bob said, but you want to see the transcripts there is a section call 'outriggers and prequels' in the Compilation Q&A thread which is stickied at the top of the spoiler board.

*scribbles down a list* I'm printing these all out for Brandon.  I'll try and get answers for everyone.  I figured there might be slow points during the signing where I can pester him!

Ashaman, I think your question made sense and I'll ask it.  Kathana if you mean figuratively smack him in the nose I'll take you up on it!  My deck is evil. Evil I tell you >=)

If he likes it enough I'm going to loan it to him for use against Brandon, as the rules of their contest state that they are using cards provided by friends and fans!

If anyone is curious my question is regarding a certain castle that had a certain forsaken in it.  I want to know if the 'punch in the face' scene was his idea or Jordan's.

Thanks for the answer Luckers!

Oh and Rabbittmaster we already know Luckers is Demandred so no need to ask that.

Ali, they were worried about their soldiers killing each other.  Also, if perceive themselves as being in danger they can use the power.  Put two Aes Sedai in the same area, and make them both feel in danger and they could kill each other.

Also ask if Egwene's dreams of:

]him kneeling in a chamber where a parched wind blew dust across the floor, and creatures like the one on the Dragon Banner, but much smaller, floated on that wind, and settled into his skin.

and

Rand in that dry, dusty chamber again, with those small creatures settling into his skin.

have been fulfilled yet?

It seems to me that both are the same, also that the fulfillment was Rand going through the Glass Columns.

I do not have a question about Gathering Storm but about the other planned books.

Question:

Prequels and Outriggers, which of those two sets would likely be done first if Harriet decides to do both sets?

yes please ask brandon if luckers is really  Demandred and he is hideing out  here at dragonmount

till  he faces rand

*Very slowly narrows his eyes*.

how is it that the aes sedai are worried about killing each other in book 11 as one of the oaths prevents them from killing

Same way they're able to kill anyone. By putting themselves in enough danger that the loophole in the oaths comes into effect.

Rob, I would have loved to ask him that question just to see what his reaction was.

The good news is that I had an absolute blast meeting Harriet and Brandon.  The bad news is was impossible to pin them in place long enough to get questions answered.

I'll be posting a report complete with pictures by the end of the day, so at least you guys can see Bubbles the trolloc balloon and hear about everything that went on!
