so mr mod said the pR was going to be subtle.. what types of PR's can we think of

1) Every post must contain something (simply, like a joke or speaking in third perosn)

2) 1 post in a time period must contain something, same as above, but only has to do 1 times a day perhaps?

3) Every Post must not contain something (like saying I?)

4) 1 post in a time person must not contain something (like no use of the "a")

5) # of posts in a time frame (must post 2 times per day, 10 times)

This idea only really stands a chance of catching #1 and inactives are going to muss it up, plus there are certainly many other types of requirements that can't be caught this way. In short, I think we should go for it, but the absence of hits shouldn't make us feel comfortable about not having a growing cult..

 

Correct.  But it should clue us in that we need to vary our test.

 

I guess the trick now is how to cover as many bases as possible..

 

I'd say lets cover one base thoroughly, and then add to it as necessary

of the other suggestions, only #2, perhaps #5 seems like the one we couldnt get right away and would takes some vigilance (note thats vigilance and not vigilante justice :P ) the restwould be easy to test for if we needed to

Not OMGUS.. wondering why he's voting the vote leader with no explanation, meanwhile he's been playing footsie with DSage for the majority of his posts. The mission is set to commence. The game counter currently displays when it will begin at which point all of the volunteers choices will be revealed along with the length of the mission.

 

Until then, it's day one as usual.

 

There are no mod-penalties for not voting. There are no mod-penalties for missing a lynch. If you want to go down as zombie-chow, that's up to you. heh

If this is the case, I'm not overly worried about missing the deadline, like I said on Myndjack.  Because we can still use the blue vote to continue where we left off if necessary.

 

That whole little back and forth between DSage and cosmicpanda... maybe it was just me but it sounded a bit off.  Between my gut there and pandy voting CTM without a real explanation in the middle of that whole little saga, I'm going to [glow=red,2,300]unvote and vote cosmicpanda[/glow].

This game is going take a while before it sinks in. I like the idea of the post restriction thingy! Though with a lot of players it will take a lot to keep on track of it and i'm not volunteering, lol.

 

We haven't got much time left and I haven't a clue who could be what. I haven't played with a lot of these players before so it makes it harder to get a feel of it all.

 

Shame we can't vote DPR for putting up that banner, I watched it until the end :(
