Masema - what's up with this?

Conclusions

So my theory is thus. Moghedian sent Berylla and Rianna to Masema in order that they ensure he continues in causing his chaos. Masuri and Annoura are black and have been meeting up with Berylla and Rianna to plot.

One Final Question

How was Masuri able to attend so many meetings without the Wise Ones knowing it? Answer... she almost probably couldn't.  ;D

I know they're not omniscient, but I'm Having a hard time believing that the Wise Ones wouldn't have picked up on something with Masuri if she were BA.  She also has a Warder which if I'm not mistaking, isn't really common among the BA.

No, many blacks have warders. Sometimes they're darkfriends, sometimes they arn't.

But yes, I'm having a hard time believing that Masuri could be doing this without at least some of the Wise Ones knowing--that was the point of the smiley face lol.

So who is giving Masuri and Annoura orders?

They could be acting on their own. Certainly Beryla and Rianna won't have been getting too many visits from Moghedian.

I actually like Masuri and would be dissapointed if she turned out to be Black.

There's something about her that is just appealing to me but I suppose it would fit the suspicion that anyone could be BA.

I think it's an interesting theory that Berylla and Rianna joined up with Masema but that would require considerable foresight on Moghdien's part though she isn't called the spider for a reason. Regardless, I'm interested to find out what the sisters have been doing whether it's helping out Masema or whatever else since they have been behind the scenes since TFOH.

Btw I just saw this...

Although Masema is now near a 100,000 demoralised ex-slaves. Such people provide the perfect recruitment pool for religious fanatics.

Won't the Seanchan have them in hand?

No, those in white go with Perrin.

Actually, as I suggested in the thread, this is not overt foresight in her part. The timing is exactly perfect for her attention to be drawn. Masema had just come to be significant, though in the normal run of things he'd likely be exterminated soon. Her attention was in Ghealdean at the time so she'd be aware of him. She'd in fact almost have to have seen the potential in him to cause chaos were he not stopped.

Yeah, you make a good point and I could definitely see it happening. I just had an unfair prejudice of Moghdien clouding my mind and forgot exactly where they were.

you know if u have the 2 BA w/ Masema i can picture 2 ways things went

#1 they manipulate Masema and are a big reason behind his crazy influence over the masses and used Compulsion on Aram to attack Perrin  ???

#2 they fell under Masema's crazy influence when they lose contact w/ Moghie  ::)  :D

I don't think anyone could compel a mob. But People can get all sorts of irrational just by themselves--and indeed they already would have been before Beryla or Rianna became involved (if they did). My guess is they tweak. Disrupt an opponent there, ensure Masema knows of something here, kill a potential troublemaker within the mob there. It fits their personality types.

The four way, that is what's gonna teach Rand to laugh and cry.

Laugh before and during, cry after. Friction burns.
Now you're just being silly. It's far too complicated to burst out laughing in the the middle. It's a matter for serious thought, not frivolity.
