If things haven't changed in an hour, I'll vote Mynd, so we have certainly a lynch. I'd still prefer lynching dragon.

Thorum, what do you mean by we can better aford to lose 3 innocents on Day 1?  As opposed to what?  Not voting at all?  :-\  Sorry, I'm not sure what you meant there.

Not to put words in his mouth, Verb, but what I think he was saying is that we can afford to lose three innocent players if we lynch them on day one (given my sarcastic "reveal" earlier).  I was pointing out that if this was a sound rationale, then he would not be opposed to lynching MNWhiteRose to test Kivam's "reveal" in the same way.

If it is a choice between lynching one and possibly three people on the one hand; and not lynching anyone on the other hand, lynching is always the best choice.

 

At night, cylons have less chance to die than we humans do. Which means we have to kill at day. So we have more chance to catch a cylon.

 

Also, if we lynch 3 connected people, one of them being cylon is enough to support lynching the two innocents.

 

This has nothing to do with day one or anything like that...

I agree we need a majority and a lynch, but verification is surely a good idea this early. 3 down is just not going to be a good start and personally, i dont think its worth the risk

Why would a cylon not be mafia? The way I read the intro all the cylons are mafia. Am I missing something from the show that could affect the game here?

So, by that rationale, Thorum, would you agree that lynching MNWhiteRose would be the better move.  We were about to lynch her in the first place until Kivam stated that he and she were linked. Suddenly, the lynch swung in a different direction.  By your logic, we should actually lynch Rosie to test this theory.

 

Am I correct in this logic?

 

....and I do hope Rosie answers the question about communicating with Kivam off thread.  I hope she's not waiting for her coach to help her decide how to respond.

Thorum, that vote was unneccesary and reactionary.  You evaded our direct questions and went for the quick and easy lynch.  I do hope someone else picks up the same line of questioning that I began.

 

I also cannot believe that so many people would sign up for a BSG game and not know who the lead characters are.  Alignments may not be in line with the show, but for frakken sake....if someone suggests that they might be a key good guy on the show and it goes un-refuted....then it is highly UN-likely that they are mafia!!!

 

and this lynch on me makes NO SENSE at all.  No one has directly stated why I am being lynched or why I am seen as scummy.  Anyone who still thinks my sarcastic claim of being linked to three people was a legit claim....well, I can't say what I feel about them without getting suspended.  Ask yourselves these:

 

1) What information will you gain WHEN I am revealed as innocent?

 

2) Why are we NOT lynching MNWhiteRose?

 

3) Who "guided" this decision?

 

4) What are the reasons for me being lynched OVER the others who should be lynched?

 

Perhaps my death will have meaning when you answer these questions.

We are not lynching mnwhiterose for the same reason we are not lynching Kivam.  Kiv claimed to be linked, and we don't want 2 potential innocent deaths.  By your admission, you are not actually linked to 3 people, so we would only lose 1 innocent in the worse case.  We gain information either way, but with you only 1 dies instead of potentially 2.

Hold your horses, Kaiser Soze....before you continue to defend Thorum, let him answer why he feels its ok to risk lynching three people by lynching me.  By this logic, he would agree that we should lynch MNWhiteRose.

 

And using the "well, we gotta lynch somebody" is the weakest reason to lynch an innocent I have ever read.  Why am I being lynched?  Especially when I have hinted at being a character who is most likely innocent?

So Kivam and Rose sat they are lovers and everyone goes along with that (at least to try and prove it) which is fair enough. Mynd says he is one of the good characters in the show, which isn't too hard to find out which. But you all decide to lynch him instead of finding out whether he istelling the truth!

 

I'm not say I think any of them are innocent. But someone said about when someone claims you don't lynch until you can find out more, surely that goes for Mynd too. :-\

Because like I said, I'd prefer a dragonsworn lynch but people have made pretty darn clear that they don't.

There is a surprise, Hybrid......especially when Dragonsworn actually has votes on him and yours would bring him close to a lynch....yet you chose to be +1 vore on me.  Good work for the innocents, Hybrid.

 

Now, lets consider what info we gain on lynching the following people:

 

1) Lynching me - big surprise, I am innocent and everyone who joined lynch could be mafia....which is pretty much every sheep in the flock. I have YET to hear any reason for why I am being lynched, other than "well, gosh golly, we gotta lynch somebody"  when we have people we SHOULD be lynching right in front of us.

 

2) Lynching MNWhiteRose - In line with Thorum's logic on why we can afford to risk lynching two people, it would prove or disprove Kivam's theory.  Up until Kivam's reveal, she was the most scummish looking, by Kivam's own admission.  Suddenly, we not only stop trying to lynch her but the lynch inexplicably turns onto me.  

 

I guess lynching me will prove that I am innocent like I claim and work at a coffee shop.  Congratulations!  Use that information to your best advantage.  

 

If they are in communication, which I suspect they are, then Kivam contradicted himself when he said that she must be innocent because "if she were mafia, someone would have coached her not to say that."  If they are in communication, then why didn't he coach her into not saying that?  

 

3) Lynching dragonsworn - we were set to lynch him for a multitude of reasons, until MSRosie pulled her stunt.  

 

4) Lynching DSage - He has been acting the squirreliest of all but I guess no one cares.  

 

So, will anyone please explain why I am being lynched when I am the least likely mafia?

Im under the same restrictions as everyone else in regards to my role, but for the love of Dirk Benedict, I don't think I could be any more explicit without being mod killed.  And yet this lynch continues for no reason other than its the will of a few.

As of currently the vote count is this:

Mynd (9): Dae, Verbal, mnwhiterose, Kivam, Hybrid, Illiara, Thorum

Jeran (1): BligBlog

Hybrid (1): Talya

 

Which means Mynd has enough votes to be lynched I think.

 

My concern here is that Mynd is pressing too hard on the Kivam case despite the risk of lynching two people instead of one. I realise that he has moved his vote to Dragonsworn, but only in an attempt to save his own life I think.

 

Also, I've seen all of BSG except Razor, and this coffee thing is flying waaaay over my head.

Here is what you will learn.

 

1) I am innocent and WORK FOR A MAJOR COFFEE CHAIN BASED IN SEATTLE THAT IS AS NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED AS MCDONALDS!!!

 

2) You will go back and look at the 12 people who voted for me and try and pick out the 3 or 4 mafia in that bunch.  Good luck with that.

 

3) You will NOT have validated any of the other claims from folks who are sure to be mafia.

 

I wonder if I reveal, get modkilled, and therefore cause a random lynch that might get a mafia.....hmmm.
