You know, every time I think I can trust your claim, you do something to make me more leery of you.  Mods don't give finder results at night - at least, none that I know of do.  Too easy for the finder to let something slip in the middle of the night, which screws the scum over if they happened to kill the finder that night - the finder's dead, but the results are out in the open.  To avoid that, mods give all results at the turn of the phase.  Maybe Lia's following a different pattern - but let's just say I'm concerned.

I had this all typed up hours ago but the computer decided to be wonky -_-

The night had passed slowly as people tossed and turned in their bunks. Most were afraid to close their eyes but eventually sleep won over for everyone but Baltar. Despite the fact that it was getting to be quite cold aboard ship, droplets of sweat stood out on his forehead. He wiped his arm along it, mumbling a prayer to God. Would his plan work? Would the cult defeat everyone? All he wanted to do was survive, even if he was the last person. A blonde woman in a red dress sat beside him, her long legs crossed.

“God has a plan Gaius. You should place all of you worry and fear in His hands. You have nothing to worry about.”

“Easy for you to say, you’re not real!”

“But of course I’m real Gaius…” she straddled him, pulling his head back with one hand as she bent down to give him a long kiss. He groaned.

“I’m mad! You aren’t real…what’s happening to me?” The last words came out in a sort of whimper. A snicker from the doorway made Baltar jump, peering around the body of the woman on top of him.

“You are crazy. And thus a danger to this vessel. Of course I could never convince anyone else of that I’m sure. So I’ll just have to settle for good ‘ole murder. But does it count as murder if you’re killing a parasite?”

Baltar gasped, the woman in red kissing down his neck even as the Cylon walked up to the man. The Cylon pushed him down on the bed, grabbing a pillow and holding it over Baltar’s face until he stopped moving. The woman in red sighed, trailing her fingers down his face before she disappeared.

Ireond, the Cult Leader and Cult has been nightkilled. Day 3 is starting and will end on July 18 at 7 pm. 7 votes are required for a successful lynch. Good luck!

Some of you may know my mother in law is dying of cancer.  We got a call this morning from my father in law saying she probably would not survivw the day.  (I'm at home typing because I need to take care of the kids this morning).  We had a feeling this was coming, so I'd asked Lia to replace me but told her I'd hang on until she did.  Obviously, I can't do that now, but she's already been looking, so hopefully this won't delay the game overlong.  Sorry, guys

Ok missed a whole day. Thats not good. Sorry folks, had the gf's parents staying and had to do host duty (a duty multiplied by the fact the car broke driving them back from the airport... car breaking bad, with in laws in the car? Hell!)

Anyways, interesting re. Thorum's reveal. Had been suspicious to me before this, but slightly worried that some still considered pressing the lynch. Also, very surprised it wasn't Dsage biting the dust... confirmed innocent would often be first choice. Then again, if the Mafia were aware of the Cult threat to themselves...

The fact the cult leaders down is interesting. Ideally it means they can no longer recruit more, and therefore we probably dont need to deal with them till end game. Doubt there are more than 3 in the cult to begin, and with one down its going to be very near the end of the game before they outnumber and therefore can win. However this does not answer the question as to whether there is someone else who recruits (not the leader).

Just a few random thoughts for now

addendum :- just saw Kiv's post. Thoughts and prayers go with you mate. Not your fault in anyway.

Kiv I'm so sorry about your MIL. I'll keep you guys in my prayers.

As far as the game I'm still not really buying this someone stole my role bit from [glow=red,2,300]Rose[/glow]. I just have a bad feeling about the way she's playing.

Kiv I am so sorry to hear about your mom in law. You and your family will be in my prayers.

So, first you believe me that my identity was stolen and voted for Kivam in order to ferret out who took it.

Then, when a bandwagon started on Thorum, you switched your vote to him in order to get a lynch, then changed your vote to me for no reason when we were so close to getting a lynch on Thorum - Talya had voted for Thorum, and you immediately realized that you couldn't lynch your buddy, so you changed your vote and focus to me. And right after that, Hybrid voted for me.

So, do you or do you not believe me when I say my identity was stolen?

I still don't believe that Thorum is a Finder, but right now you are the more dangerous player.

So mnwhiterose acts scummy scummish Day 1 and now we're supposed to forget about it?  Especially when her only defense was "I am lovers with Kivam" and "She would have been coached out of that mistake if she was scum."  Well, now we no longer have to worry about taking out two innocents, and Kivam practically refuted his own defense of her here:

I was working and checking in on two other mafia games, and didn't check in here until it was too late.  Believe me, I would have, if I'd seen the meltdown on time  ;D

As the person most suspicious to me:

[glow=red,2,300]mnwhiterose[/glow]

Aside:  I'm sorry to hear that Kivam.  My prayers are with your family.

"She would have been coached out of that mistake if she was scum."

I don't believe I ever used this as a defense.

You are only confirmimg a theory of mine, in which Hybrid, JLM and Thorum are all working together as mafia. The three of you look extremely guilty to me.

But Kivam did.  I worded my original post poorly, but what I meant by "her defense" was "in defense of her."

I thought I was gone for sure. :-\

The mafia is acting strangely.  It makes no sense why they didn't come after either me or Thorum.  Agh! *shakes head furiously*  I'll get myself even more confused if I dwell on it too much.

Why the Hybrid-JLM-Thorum connection?

Because she's trying to throw suspision off herself ::)

For an innocent, you spend an awful lot of time underlining how angry you got about innocents dying and how worried you were about getting night killed.  Fascinating.

There has to be some connection between JLM and Thorum. Day 2: After I had called Thorum out as a liar for his Finder post, JLM changed her vote from Kiv to Thorum. Shortly after that, Talya had posted a vote for Thorum. Right after that, JLM changed her vote from Thorum to me. No one had voted or offered differing evidence between Talya's vote and JLM's. Right after JLM's vote, Hybrid voted for me.

Day 3: Hybrid was the 2nd vote for me today after I posted a vote for JLM.

I just know JLM and Thorum are working together based on her voting pattern - why else would she change her vote on Day 2 right after Talya voted? For no reason whatsoever. She voted for Kiv in the first place because she wanted to 'out' the person who stole my identity. Then changed to Thorum. Then changed to me, stating that she didn't believe my identity was stolen.

So, first she believes me, and now she doesn't? Does she have any evidence to refute my claim and Kiv's confirmation?

First of all, I'm sorry to hear about your mother-in-law, Kivam.

But:

You probably already guessed who I viewed and what the result was. [glow=red,2,300]Kivam[/glow] is a cylon.

I doubted between viewing Kiv and rose, but I'm glad I did what I did.

After I had called Thorum out as a liar for his Finder post

I guess you missed the posts where it showed what you overlooked. I won't quote all 20-or-so of them again. :-*

An awful lot of time?  What does that mean, exactly?  How many times HAVE I announced my frustration at an innocents death?  Twice?  Three times?  Ten?

and how worried you were about getting night killed.  Fascinating.

Please provide a quote where I posted my concern about being NK'd Night 2.

My point isn't your Finder claim. My point is that right after Talya's vote for you, JLM unvoted you and voted for me in order to keep you from being lynched, with no arguments between her vote for you and her change in vote. No votes for any other player other than you had been posted. She was trying to keep you from being lynched, even though she had voted for you after your Finder reveal.

Posted

Actually rose what happened was I was the sixth vote on Thorum b/c it was obvious we weren't gonna get a majority on Kivam. Then Talya immediately after me was vote #7. Then after he claimed I unvoted and voted for you before you posted anything about his supposed "lie". that's where my vote stayed until the random lynch ended the day.

If you're going to try to use my voting record against me at least take the time to go investigate to make sure you get it right.

[glow=red,2,300]Unvote[/glow]

In light of a claimed finder calling out a mafia [glow=red,2,300]Kivam[/glow] (at least we'll save the mod the trouble of finding a replacement)

Posted

I think Thorum picking somebody and calling them guilty when they aren't this early on would be a very dumb move on his part, when he could save such a ploy for closer to end-game when it would really count. As such I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. Plus, if Thorum is right this will help his case. If he's wrong we've got ourselves a mafia anyways.

[glow=red,2,300]Vote: Kivam[/glow]
