That is an interesting twist actually. I'd never considered that someone would actually control the finder's role to make someone evil...but it would have to be a real stroke of luck for them to have managed getting the Finder that night. Seems silly to have targeted Mynd, if you ask me, since he's easy lynch fodder anyway (no offense, mynd). :D

None taken, FDM....I know the score here.  What is going to be the demise of the mafia here is the roles that yet remain in the game.  They have been so focused on eliminating us townies and framing me, that they forgot that its about eliminating the ROLES not the players....and they let one very important role slip right by them.

Psst....I took a chance with the role I had.  Blig was metagaming up the wazoo, and was being suspicious.  I pretty much functioned as a vigilante that night.....which I failed at, cause I suck at being the vig.

 

He was one of my guess at mafia.  Obviously, I was wrong.  My other guess is Mynd.

Umm....he was viewed as mafia by somebody that turned up to be innocent?  Granted, the view could have been affected by a role, but to play that what if game this late will not work for us.

One small advantage to losing a lot of townies up front is that it narrows down who is mafia.  We are reeeeeeely cutting it close right now, but I think I might have at least one if not all of them.  I do have a couple questions...

 

1) MOD:  Do the Mafia have a night kill in addition to any roles that they receive each night?

 

2) Anyone who has had the Autopsy role, please post your information at this time.  I think that Rose was implying that Lia targeted Blig the night he was killed.  Were there any others as well? 

 

3) My view of Verbal last night was blocked.  His alignment and such were unavailable. Which role would do that?

 

I think the answer to these and the revealing of information that our Autopsy folks have had will point us all in the right direction.

Ok, so the mafia do get a night kill in addition to any other role that allows for such.  This could explain the double homicide of Hybrid and dragonsworn on Night 1. 

 

There is also this Cult we have to deal with, which always is a problem for both town and mafia alike.  Does the person who they target also become cult or just the person who gets the role? If they both do, then we are prolly at endgame right now. 

 

What we need right now is for whoever had the Autopsy role to post their findings.  Rose, can you confirm that Blig was targeted by Lia and someone else the night he was killed?

By the way, unless Pandy made a mistake, that is not possible.  The only available role would be the Autopsy, which would show who targeted Blig.  I did NOT target Blig.  If that is the role you used, the result should not have been me.  Granted, I'm responsible, but not by targeting Blig.

I cannot confirm that because I did not have the autopsy role that night. Or next day. The reason I thought Blig Blog's death was suspicious was because my cop role that I had created basically said that the cop would always get a mafia reading (whether they were mafia or night) and the person targeted would be nightkilled. So, I was thinking 1 of 3 things: a) Lia was lying on who she viewed and therefore was mafia (which she wasn't), or b) the role was Kaiser Soze'd, or c) my role was changed.  *shrug*

 

And, since we are pretty much in endgame right now, I had my own cop role last night and viewed FDM and found her to be mafia.

Rose, be careful with that.  By your own admission, you created a role where the cop would always get a mafia view, and we pretty much established that Lia had this role when she viewed me.  I wish that we would have known this earlier...it could have prevented a lynch on Lia.  I'm not against lynching FDM, but we cannot use your viewing as the only reason.....besides....check this out....

 

In this post, Verbal admits to using some form VIG kill on Blig, and apologizes for killing a townie....

Please explain to the rest of us...which is it?  Did you target Blig or not? Why admit in the first post that you targeted Blig because you were suspicious of him but then in the second deny it?

 

Also, at this time it is imperative that anyone who had the Autopsy role post their results here.  [glow=red,2,300]Verbal[/glow] is likely the one who needs to go, but I am very curious about something.

Arrrro?  I was about to log off DM and go about my studies when something bothered me about this last bit.  You claim that you had your own Cop role last night and viewed FDM as mafia.  Here is why your posts disturbs me....

 

1) How do you know how many mafia there are?  You would need to know this to know if we are at endgame or not.

2) How could you have had the Cop role that you refer to if I had that role last night and got a blocked reading on Verbal? 

3) If you doubt that your role was changed, why are you surprised that Lia found me mafia and I would react so? 

 

At this time, since by Rose's own admission, its endgame....we should reveal our roles.  Many of you super-sleuths should already know the role that I have.  Here are the remaining players...what role do you have?  Failure to comply at this point is an obvious SCUMMISH tell!

I do not know how many mafia there are.

 

And I misspoke about my role last night. I was the dear Kaiser Soze, and I stole your role.  So, essentially, I was the cop last night. I viewed FDM and my results came back as mafia. Yes, Pandy could have changed my role to be the paranoid cop that always comes up with a mafia vote. Verbal does seem to be suspicious to me.  but, at the moment, it is not enough for me change my vote.

Ok, it would have been helpful if you had come right out and admitted this earlier, but I'll buy that.  It does explain why my read got blocked last night.  And I also now see the title of the thread, which explains that we really are at endgame.  So, please I ask you and everyone else...now is the time we need to lay our cards on the table.

We need to hear from everyone both what role they have and what they had last night.  I assure you that if we all do this, we can be sure to lynch a mafia this day.

Sticking up for Far, Mynd?

 

I already think Mynd is mafia - that much is evident.  I almost posted that I thought Far was as well based on her voting pattern, but decided against posting it.  Now I will.

 

If I get lynched, and somehow the night (or my lynch) doesn't end the game, please lynch Mynd & Far.  They are my 2 top candidates for mafia.  Mynd on his evasive behavior and how he completely ignored the Finder result on him until much later, and Far on her voting for Liath right after she revealed as Finder and outed Mynd.  I actually include Thorum in that last as well, but he finishes last there.

 

 

Edit:  of course I'm suspicious, I screwed up a vig kill.  The exact truth is that 2 nights ago, I had the Kaiser Soze role, and I used it on Nae.  She had the CENSORED role, and I made her target Blig.  That is why the Autopsy should reveal Nae as the one who targeted Blig, and not me.

 

Last night, I was the CENSORED role.  I targeted Far, as I was thinking (like I mentioned above) she was the most likely suspect to be mafia other than Mynd.  I figured Mynd was a solid lynch target today.  Which he is.

 

My question is, how did Far survive?  Either the Jack Bauer healed her, or the Cult recruited her with a heal.  Far is a strong, strong, player.  Not voting Mynd right after a Finder said they viewed him mafia, and with enough innocents alive to test the theory, tells me that she is likely mafia.

 

Edit #2:  I just answered the last question....as for the first, I will not tell you what role I currently have.
