Am I reading something wrong too?  According the role post it is the person who posted after your first post of the day who you get a reading on.  That was Blig.

Yeah but it didn't work that way, i got a message saying that the messenger was scum. The messenger stands a 75% chance of being scum, we should take our best option and vote for the messenger.

It's probably a mistake on either dragonsworn's or pandy's part. Messenger posted after DS's second post, and right before his first.

 

Anyway, this doesn't proof a thing. Mafia and innocent get rotations of the same role.

Well why would I reveal my role and reveal someone it said was scum.

 

The logic doesn't work for this situation, I am unexperienced so i am sorry for not playing this game in an expertise fashion but I will learn through experience, hopefully  :)

Why are we trying to eliminate one of the more powerful roles early on?  Sure, it's a percent chance role, which I hate, but still this is basically equivalent to lynching the FINDER to test the validity of his role.  If there is a counter-claim, I will step back to re-examine the situation, but right now I only see one viable option, and it's not lynching the Mindreader.  We've been down this road before... the innocents can afford a 1:1 loss ratio... the mafia can't.

Everyone we don't have long until the votes close. We should not let this chance go to waste, if my finding turns out to be wrong, (Which it has a 25% chance to) I will vote for myself in the next day. We can't let these three to one odds of lynching a mafia on the first day

So, eliminating the player also eliminates the role they have, right?  I'm actually with Hybrid on this one.  Even if Dragonsworn is scum, we are shooting ourselves in the foot by eliminating this role.  The messenger/silencer role is dangerous in the hands of the mafia and, according to DS, we have a 75% chance of nailing a mafia. 

 

I like those odds much better than "DAY ONE RANDOMNESS OH NOES!"  :o

I was just waiting for a response before I changed my vote.  As we heard (correctly) many times from Verbal in the last game always vote for the person the claimed finder says is guilty.  Especially when the MOD indirectly confirms they are the finder.  :D

I agree. This is the best shot we got and I was going on feeling, mostly, for voting MN. I'll keep a close eye on her in the future but we have a 75% chance of taking down a mafia via lynch on the first day. I love those odds.
