Interesting.  Well, I'm a regular "Townsman of Tokyo" so I don't have a character name.  I'm assuming there's a bunch of us nameless, roleless cannon fodder out there, so I think that in this case the mass reveal might work.  ;D

I'll [glow=red,2,300]Unvote[/glow] my random vote.  I did finally read far enough back to find Mynd's egg about his win condition.  I'm not sure what to think at this point about mass reveals since there seems to be a large enough group who doesn't want to do it.  I've not yet played in a game where a mass reveal happened.

What thorum did was weird, a long drawn out day 1 gives us more info then a bandwagon, but at this poitn i dont consider it somethign to vote him for.

 

I voted you since you answered best to the wikipedia-definition of Kira. I hadn't even seen there already was 1 vote on you. And I'm also quite sure you,a s an experienced player, should know that a second vote doesn't start a bandwagon. A fourth, a fifth, maybe a third....

 

 

Also, a general reminder: don't get personal. Not only is it much less fun, it is also much too often plain WRONG.

Which is completely baseless.  The odds of you being mafia are the same as anyone else being mafia assuming roles are assigned randomly.

Personally, I am not buying this at all.  This has totally the feel of a role filled game, so much so that Danya was hoping for as many as 20 players...which suggests that she had more roles to give out.  I would find it hard to believe that Danya would waste a "Townsman of Tokyo" role when the Death Note Wiki is filled with even minor characters to exist. 

 

Still, it is possible, however improbable.  I say we lynch [glow=red,2,300]Hybrid[/glow] because he is likely bluffing to hide his true, more scummish character identity.  If he isn't lying, then we have successfully established that there may be nameless roles in this game, and we don't risk losing one of our more valuable players.  I'll bet we snag ourselves a mafia though.  ;D

I too, don't believe there will be any vanilla town roles in this game.  Although I can see Hybrid saying this to protect an important town role.  There are a couple of town characters that just by stating their name would be giving too much info.

DSage you repeatedly tried to get people not to reveal, you even went so far as saying Danya might Modkill anyone who did, then suggested that Hybrid revealing his identity was making it easier for the Mafia.

 

It's just a little too much others voiced their objection to revealing without repeating the objection every time they posted. It's scummy and you my friend are Kira or one of his mingieons.

Oh, okay.  I think I understand your view now.

 

1) I was being cautious.  I've been mod, and I know Danya.  She gets drunk and forgets things. (still loves ya! :-*)  The fact that the link she posted for this game were the basic Mafia rules, to tell the truth, shocked me.  What is wrong with checking with the Mod first?  Since when is it scummy to try and save people from modkills (which are extremely possible).  I was putting myself in the Mod shoes.  And I, for one, would not have let people reveal.  That's just me.  It seems to vital to the game.  But then, maybe there are undercurrents in the game.  Maybe there are innocents and mafia that don't necessarily win with their team, so revealing wouldn't be crucial.  I dunno.  But I tread carefully in these types of games.

 

2) Hybrids "reveal" does aide the mafia.  That's fact.  I didn't know that telling the truth was a scum tell nowadays.

 

And I don't know what you are saying with your second line.  Please clarify.
