Dirty Cops Mafia - GAME OVER!!!

Well, the plus side is that a Mafia got mod-killed.  Problem is, aside from poking at Danya and Thorum a bit, Barmacral really didn't participate much in this one.  It kinda sucks because he didn't vote on Day 1 nor did he really take up for anybody in particular.  The most significant post he made was to join the yelling at Cube and MCS about editing their posts.  

 

Why do I have the horrible feeling that there are a bunch more Barms out there sitting back, sipping tea, while the rest of us tear each other to shreds?

MCS: I get the mafia vibe from him because of all the points used before (i.e. editing posts especially concerning votes, etc). However he is a newbie and I don't think he has the skill to try and pull off a fake doctor claim. Unless he's a mafia doctor...are they always innocent?

 

 

 

It would be really strange if the only Doctor in the game was a Mafia Doctor.

Look, just because I think that some of the mafia are sitting back doesn't let you off the hook buddy.  You could be making this whole thing up about being the doctor.  Do we even know if there is a healer in the game?  This is, after all, a COP mafia not an episode of HOUSE.

 

 

Anyways, good to have you back in the game, Lia.  Now, if we can please hear more from Dark Justice, Danya, and Hybrid?

However, there is no easy way to verify that he is a Doctor. Moreover, he could be lying to protect his butt from lynching even if he is not a dirty cop.

Hmmmm....cosmicpanda.  Whats the rush here?  We have until Thursday at 3pm Mountain Time to get a majority.  While I am keeping my vote on MCS, he is not off the hook, I do want to hear from some of our less active players.  Still, Talya doesn't seem to be the only one with a blood lust today.  

 

And no, Cube, I am not asking for FINDER views, I am asking for them to post their opinions.  They have been too quiet since Day 1 and I find it very disturbing.

I was referring to the fact that in one post you wonder whether the dirty cops are just hanging back and letting the rest of us destroy each others credability and in the second asking for information (their views) from those who are hanging back and not posting much.

I have to say I did suspect Barm, mostly because he wasn't posting much, I need to go back and reread and find out why I was feeling that way.

 

And I feel like we don't need to rush into lynching anybody, I'm holding back cosmicpanda to see if anything else interesting comes out before Thursday. And I feel for the "newbie" card because I was a recent newbie making a bunch of missteps as in innocent and everyone thought I was mafia too. Now then, the post edit and change of vote combined with Catina's posting do make me pause beyond the newbie card.

 

I just think it would be stupid to claim doctor if you weren't one because a: the Mafia is going to go after you (if he's innocent) or b: the real doctor could easily come and blow that one wide open. Then again if you think he's that dumb...I don't know.

If I read the Wiki definitions correctly and those in Mafiascum a Mafia Doctor is possible, he would normally be able to heal attacks from a Vigilante.

My thoughts are mostly about MCS at this point. So, he claims doctor, if he's mafia, there's a good chance he was told to reveal as doctor. Its not like he would be alone in his little scheme. All you need is a little help from your mafia buddies, so him being a newbie isnt much of an excuse. He's the one who stands out the most from what I've read here. But i'll take a better re-read when I get home from work.

Maybe we have been looking at this all wrong. We may all be Cops but what is there to stop there being the normal (and maybe not so normal) mafia roles in this game. Rather than getting obsessed with the paranoid cop thing, maybe there is a healer, a true finder, a Symp (looks at Thorum  ;) Oh and no that had nothing to do with my viewing, I just thought the way he jumps around he's like a symp!), and what ever other roles you can think of.

 

I've always played it that you wait to see if there is a counter claim to his healer role, rather than carry on lynching. Doesn't mean we believe them, but if he is correct and by the sounds of it someone had an innocent viewing on him then the chances are it could actually be correct, despite him bouncing around like lying liar who lies!

Talya is encouraging a counterclaim. If mcs isn't the real healer, then a counterclaim would tell the mafia who the real healer, if there is one, is. This is a bad thing for the town.

It looks like they already have been outted and not by me. But considering we are all cops, the healer would be better off protecting themselves otherwise which cop do you save. So revealing wouldn't be too much of a problem in this game! The whole purpose of the healer is to try and protect the finder as long as possible, well that is a little mute in this game.

Taht would be a bit of pot luck. But yes they can, but if found out, then they should look at protecting themselves. That would be one innocent the mafia definately wouldn't get, but then they could mix it about, but if they do die, then we have lost that too.

So, by outing the real finder, you make them pretty useless.
